Introducing Lt. Colonel (Retired) Frances Rice

For decades, the Republican party has had an unfounded reputation for bigotry foisted upon them by the media, Democratic Party, and race hustlers, like Sharpton and Jackson.

Intoducing a new favorite writer: Frances Rice, Chairman of the National Black Republican Association.

Posted at their site:
Why Black Americans should come home to the Republican Party

It should come as no surprise that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican. In that era, almost all black Americans were Republicans. Why? From its founding in 1854 as the anti-slavery party until today, the Republican Party has championed freedom and civil rights for blacks. And as one pundit so succinctly stated, the Democrat Party is as it always has been, the party of the four S's: Slavery, Secession, Segregation and now Socialism.

Lt. Col. Rice also has her own blog: Black Republican.

This post is topical: Democrats and Racial Politics: From Jim Crow to Barack Obama

Democrats have a 150-year history of using race as a political weapon to keep blacks in virtual slavery and Republicans out of power.

As author Michael Scheurer so succinctly stated, the Democratic Party is the party of the four S's: Slavery, Secession, Segregation and now Socialism.

This article puts the notice back on the ACTUAL bigots in America. Here are some choice bits:

An Open Letter to the Democratic Party
By Lt. Colonel Frances Rice,U.S. Army Retired

Whereas the Democratic Party has never apologized for their horrific atrocities and racist practices committed against African Americans during the past two hundred years, nor for the residual impact that those atrocities and practices and current soft bigotry of low expectations are having on us today, ....

Whereas the Democratic Party fought to expand slavery and, after the Civil War, established Jim Crow Laws, Black Codes and other repressive legislation that were designed to disenfranchise African Americans, ...

Whereas the Ku Klux Klan was the terrorist arm of the Democratic Party, and their primary goal was to intimidate and terrorize African American voters, Republicans who moved South to protect African Americans and any other whites who supported them, ...

Whereas the Democratic party has used racist demagoguery to deceive African Americans about the history of the Republican Party...

Now, therefore, for the above and other documented atrocities and accumulated wrongs inflicted upon African Americans, we demand a formal written apology and other appropriate remuneration from the leadership of the Democratic party...

She needs more publicity. Spread the word.

Honoring an Ally

Not all of the heroes are American. Imagine this Royal Marine's surprise when he came out of this alive...

"A Royal Marine in southern Afghanistan threw himself onto an exploding grenade to save the lives of his patrol."

I think a Semper Fi is appropriate. Oorah!

3rd Anniversry Walter Reed Freep from This Aint Hell

Bad Voodoo's War

PBS's Frontline will air the documentary Bad Voodoo's War beginning 1 April.

FRONTLINE goes to war in Iraq with a band of California-based National Guard soldiers who call themselves the "Bad Voodoo Platoon" to tell their very personal story in Bad Voodoo's War, airing Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 9 P.M. ET (check local listings). To record their war, from private reflections to real-time footage of improvised explosive device (IED) attacks on the ground, director Deborah Scranton (The War Tapes) creates a "virtual embed," supplying cameras to the soldiers of the Bad Voodoo Platoon and working with them to shape an intimate portrait that reveals the hard grind of their war. Says Scranton: "What compels me is telling a story from the inside out, to crawl inside their world with them to see what it looks like, feels like and smells like. It's really important to give soldiers the chance to press their own record button on this war."

Another Marine is found to be innocent

Case Dropped against Lance Cpl. Stephan Tatum. Semper Fi!

The Marine Corps is dropping all charges against the Lance Cpl Stephan Tatum who was accused of involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment and aggravated assault in the Haditha case. So far, four of the eight Marines charged have been cleared. Michelle Malkin has more info and, of course, links to everyone with info....

Anybody seen that lowlife Murtha?

Think about this....

Many politicians, especially certain ones running for President, say that withdrawing our troops from Iraq would result in a positive outcome.

Take a look at Basra. The British kept a low profile, negotiated peace settlements, made deals, and didn't shoot certain people that desperately needed it. This comment is not a disparagement against our brave allies. They conducted their segment of the campaign with great bravery, skill, and fortitude, using tactics and strategy that they thought best. They were the authority on that battlefield.
And then their government had them withdraw.

Now look at it.

Now picture that situation all across Iraq.

Pat Dollard - The message is "the coolest, f**king most badass and most noble thing you can be today is a combat Marine. Period.”

Pat Dollard - Holly wood agent. Pat Dollard - hardcore combat film maker Pat Dollard - crazy person.....its all good. via Vanity Fair: Pat Dollard's War

In 2004, having made his name as Steven Soderbergh’s agent, Pat Dollard was the stereotypical Hollywood operator: coked-up, Armani-sheathed, separated from his fourth wife, and rapidly self-destructing. But when he hit bottom, Dollard didn’t go back to rehab; he went to Iraq, embedded with the Marines, and filmed a pro-war documentary... Young Americans

...Dollard was once a “doctrinaire liberal” who could even boast of close ties to Robert Kennedy Jr., but now speaks of his pro-war stance in the most militant terms: “This is a propaganda war, and if I can fight with a camera the same as a Marine with his rifle, I will.”

The message of my movie is simple: "If you’re a young person in America, the coolest, fucking most badass and most noble thing you can be today is a combat Marine. Period.”

The Left Has No Heroes, The Principal Has No Cajones

and yet MORE from SSgt Bellavia:

Another UPDATE: As if you needed a reason to watch the video, here is one more:

My friend Rochester Veteran, who spent the day with Carter and me in DC during the EaglesUP Rally, is reporting that SSgt.David Bellavia (Bell-a-via), Medal of Honor nominee, will run for the House seat being vacated by Tom Reynolds. Watch SSgt Bellavia in the video; the first time I saw that this morning my first thought was: "This guy would make a great Congressman". I just received an email from RV informing me that this was, indeed, going to be the case. OOOOOOOORAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Our NEXT Greatest Generation is continuing their service to our Nation.

This video is so worth your time.

Thank you Uncle Jimbo, Pete, David, Matt, Marcus, Jeremiah, for your service and dedication.

Here is a poll you can weigh in with: Star Tribune

OK I stole that one, too but altered it slightly. Uncle Jimbo will probably set me down and explain the facts of life when I see them in Fayetteville, but I can handle it.

Apparently the principal has no principles, or honor, or respect for service, or sense of decency, (or cajones), according to reports on Blackfive this morning.

I'll just go off on a tangent if I start in on this, so jump over to Uncle Jimbo's post and read for yourself.

Michelle is at her best, and there are links to audio from David Bellavia, with some more comments from Uncle Jimbo.

Now for the rest of the story: This was't just any random high school in Minneapolis, it was Pete Hegseth's alma mater. It was HIS high school, from which he graduated in 1999. (which by the way, makes him one year older than my son.)

Thank You 4,000

My good friend CJ, at A SoldiersPerspective has some words of wisdom on the so-called milestone we hit over the weekend. Take a look. We have 4,000 reasons to win this thing.
I stole his title. But it's OK.

The SDS is calling for increased attacks on Recruiting Centers. This is skirting the line on conspiracy to commit domestic terrorism. Too bad the assclown doesn't have guts to use his real name. Time for a real investigation, by real people.

"Peaceful Non-violent" Leftist Slaps Blogger in Westchester PA

I hestitated cross-posting this, mainly because I'm PO'd over it and it shows. But we're all adults here, we've seen and heard worse, so a simple warning that strong language folows should suffice.
Those of you who were in attendance at the Rally on the 15th met Skye. She is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet, friendly as hound pup, cuter than a kitten playing with a puppy. She was covering the event in Chester PA Saturday...Well, I'll let her tell the story:

Saturday around 12:10 PM, a member of the Chester County Peace Movement (CCPM) slapped a woman twice (that would be me) who was videotaping an exchange between the two opposing groups. Police were called and an officer arrived at 12:15 PM and announced to the crowd that he was conducting an investigation.

The CCPM member was pointed out to police and the officer told the man to come forward and the man refused. The guy was totally uncooperative, belligerent and would not go with the officer. When he shoved the officer, the officer's partner took him to the ground to be handcuffed. The guy continued to resist while on the ground and the peace movement folks surrounded the officers, some as close as a foot or so away.

Photos here show this quite clearly.

I've prided myself in my professional conduct at this rally and to be struck twice by a 'peace' protester who has been present since the time I began covering this rally is truly disturbing.

Let me add that Skye doesn't appear at first glance to be anything other than a reporter. She carries several camera bags and always has a notebook. Nothing about her outward appearence would suggest she is anything but a reporter covering an event.

This is just one more example of the rabid left, the so-called "peaceful, non-violent left", showing their true colors when the odds are against them and they know they are losing.
At this point, I am asking that from now on, NO ONE is to be alone in any situation. We have got to watch each other's backs at all times.
Do not allow yourself to be seperated from the crowd, and do not engage these people, because they are obviously becoming unstable and un-predictable.

Strong language follows:

What pisses me off is that this scum sucking piece of leftist excrement chose the one person who he thought was the weakest. Well, he picked the wrong one this time. This young Lady is a friend and a Patriot.

I'm putting you assclowns and your assclown posse on notice: If you screw with my friends, I will take your sniveling cowardly ass down. I will not warn you, I will not announce my intentions. I will take my baton and I will wear your ass out.

That is not a threat, it is a PROMISE!!!!

As An Addition To The Post Below

Hot on the heels of his explanation for why he no longer wears a flag pin, presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama was forced to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.

According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart.

"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides,"Obama said. "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it."
Well, satire is supposed to expand upon the topic, with a sideways twist. It's supposed to make you look closer at the subject matter, and question the subject.

Does BamaLama really hold the American flag in high regard? Does he think we live in the greatest Nation on the face of planet? Recent documented comments would suggest he has a twisted viewpoint.

Obama; Unifying America Into Sections -- Again

B. Hussein Obama was much bally-hooed as being "the great unifier" -- the man who would put the final nail in the coffin of racism, by virture of simply being elected. After all, America couldn't possibly be a racist country and have a black man elected as president, could it?

But, as life would have it (or the Democratic Party would have it) we are once again mired in a verbal quagmire of racism the likes of which have not been seen since the O.J. trial. One can scarcely tun on the television, open a (descent) newspaper, or jet over to Drudge, without hearing about the latest un-earthed comment from one of the batty, racist pastors of one of the members of the "big tent party." With shrill screams of hate echoing from the pulpit, they seemingly want to burn crosses on the lawn of white people, black Republicans, and in the case of Clinton's pastor -- on Hussein's front lawn.

If this is the Democrat's idea of imporving race relations, I might as well invest in a few select futures now; the gun industry, hospitals, and funeral homes.

Who Is Really Responsibe For the Credit Problems?

Well, according to a video I just watched, its the Bush Administration, who else?

However, a little research into recent history will reveal the real culprits behind the so-called sub-prime mortgage fiasco. It's the race-hustling poverty pimps and the leftists who try to do social engineering by intefering with free-market capitalism.

Faced with threats of lawsuits from the Rainbow Coalition, the banks caved and started writing loans to less than credit-worthy individuals. Threats and intimidation are the hallmarks of the left; they know their ideas are stupid, and when smart people don't listen or refuse to adopt the tenets of the left, they just start screaming racism and the Anti-Christian Lawyers Union jumps up and takes the capitalists to court to get their way.

My bud in PA, Bigg Bill, analyzed the situation, and put it this way:

Here is how I have it...and it makes much more sense than this inflammatory video does, primarily because all this could not have come to happen during the short seven years of the Bush administration and in the truly booming economy we enjoyed until just the last few months. BTW, it seems to have turned the corner about two months ago, if the trend in spot copper prices is a good indicator...and it is.

The policies which lead to this problem as noted below are clearly liberal and leftist. The content of this video, while possibly partially correct, is a misrepresentation which appears to show Bush simply following established law and not the perpetrator in this problem, yet being demonized for being unsympathetic. It looks like just another liberal democrat lie. I have come to understand that it was the liberal left during the Clinton administration who found banks properly red-lining certain people and areas as uncreditworthy or as high credit risks, because that is exactly what they were. I understand that numbers of various "civil rights" groups placed an enormous amount of pressure on lending institutions to stop red-lining areas and the people in them, forcing the banks to make the types of bad loans which now have come home to roost. It IS sound lending policy in a more or less free market system to deny loans and credit or to charge higher rates to high risks. That good judgment was effectively stifled by the threat of "civil rights" lawsuits.

There is no reason for the rest of us to pay for the indiscretion, poor judgment or precarious financial condition of others. Is this discriminatory...certainly and it IS justified...and is NOT on the basis of race, which is incidental in this case.
Here again sound fiscal policy becomes confused with desired and forced social policy, just as it disingenuously does in the, "tax cuts for the rich" argument. "Marginal rate reductions for tax payers" (the people who invest and sign paychecks) is the more correct phase. Without their prosperity none of us prospers and we end up like the old USSR. Just another liberal lie, like the man-made global warming notion; without any doubt. Our recent history is rife with this BS. These lies for power are easily dispelled with a little honest research.

Our banking system has no social obligation to be a welfare agency, but a first obligation to sound lending practices and to its depositors...PERIOD! Once again, we see grand social engineers distorting a working free market system. People should not be given free and easy no down payment loans they can't afford. The banks should not be forced to do so by the race-baiting poverty pimps we see on the left. That is exactly what has happened to the best of my knowledge in this case. Once regulations are relaxed, then veryone jumps on board to remain competitive...and down the spiral goes with good intentions, but for the wrong reasons.
Screw-up and then blame it on someone else...another classic one from the liberal left! Check it out.

A little more in depth research will demonstrate the accuracy of the above. "You have no civil right that someone else has to pay for." ...we all have Constitutional Rights that no one else is required to support financially.

BB is a sharp individual. He's behind the Flight 93 fight along with Alec Rawls and a few hundred other dedicated Americans who believe the heroes of Flight 93 deserve a more appropriate memorial than the Crescent of Betrayal. Ya'll know what I think.

In Case You Missed It

Here is the segment from Cao's (pronounced "key") BlogtalkRadio with Rurick and me.

Labels: , , , , , , , , , ,

VBIED - there's a reason for the 50 meter rule

In case there are readers wondering why our soldiers enforce the 50 meter rule with gun fire....

This one was a dump truck outside of Taji...the humvees were Iraqi army, not US.

and this is a controlled detonation of one car....

Now, who is the war criminal when these things are set off in civilian areas? Our guys or the ones that ram them into our vehicles in a crowded market or surrounded by children?

There are more on You Tube.

The View from Inside

At the risk of seeming to toot my own horn, I'm going to let ya'll know that at 2000 hours EDT tonight, (that's 8:00 PM for you non-military folks), I will have the distinct honor of joining Rurick on Cao's blogtalk radio segment. The link to listen is here.
It has a chat feature available.
(I have it on good authority that several members of the Church Ladies will be listening, and may be calling in, so I'm warning you in advance, that whatever they say about me, is probably true.)

I'm going to forgo adding to my ramblings regarding the IVAW/VVAW Winter Soldier 2 farce, and direct your attention to my good friend Rurick who spent the entire day Friday inside the belly of the beast, so to speak.

I have to warn you that Rurick goes into great detail and as a result, the piece I am directing you to is long; but well worth the read, because he describes the situation inside very well.

The link is here. Here is a sampling from the first part of his report.

Now on to the most widespread of all the alleged crimes, what I call car-icide.
Everybody has a story about shooting cars, either cars sitting by the side of the road, or speeding up and trying to dash through American convoys. Ever since the Hajjis started using cars as a major means of delivering explosives, the troops have been very sensitive about cars that fail to cooperate. Convoys are preceded and followed by vehicles bearing large signs in English and Arabic warning civilian vehicles to maintain a 50 meter distance, or so I have been told by other non-IVAW Iraqi vets. Funny that the IVAWs omitted mentioning that detail. Just as it is funny that they omit mentioning the quaint Islamic couture of suicide belts when mentioning occasions of Iraqi civilians being gunned down by US troops.
Now, between you and me and the internet, 50 meters is only, ONLY, 160 feet, (+/-). The distance from the 50 yard line to the end zone. That's called DAMN CLOSE when you're dealing with a VBIED.
And of course we have the requisite racist mind-set of America. After-all all Americans are racists right?

Of course the template requires that anything involving America must include racism to be complete. Thus we have the first speaker Hart Viges, who is at pains to denounce the term “hajji” as racist. First of all, in Arabic the term “hajji” is a title of honor, attached to the name of anyone who has made the pilgrimage (hajj) to Mecca, though I doubt that the average American knows the significance. Or would care if he did. Fact is, in every war, both sides have some special term they use to designate the enemy. This is a common feature of us, our allies, and our enemies as well. Even as far back as 1776 when we fought the Lobsterbacks. And yes, they have always had negative terms for us as well. Logan Laituri, who seems to be a real prince of self-loathing-by-proxy made a big deal of comparing himself to a KKK member because he was more bothered by the death of a fellow American than by anonymous Iraqis. Do not let your hair down and relax with a man like that. While some of these guys might be plausible drinking companions this one seems like he would be an unbearable PC shithead.
Umm, more bothered by the death of his fellow warriors, than the death of an Iraqi, who may or may not have been a terrorist? Analyze that sentence. He's bothered by his concern for his brothers. I'm sitting here shaking my head, trying to understand that and it's going to give me a headache if I think about it for much longer, so I'm going to stop.
Go read the rest.

Background on the origins the philosophies of Obama's church

Just a few quick notes:

Obama's church.

Muslim reaction
to Obama's speech on race.

Labels: , , ,

This is so.....typical

According to Senator Obama, typical white people are bigots. White people have no capability to detect a threat in their enviroment. If "a person they don't know," which in this context, sounds to me like code for "black people" is on the street, we automatically are afraid. Now why is this his default position? And since he says that he is "black", are his white supporters atypical? This sounds like "racial profiling" to me.

His default position on race is, well, racist.

There is nothing more painful to me […] than to walk down a street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.” - Jesse Jackson, March 10, 1996, in US News and World Report.

So, according to Barack Obama, Jesse Jackson is a "typical white person."

How badly would any white politician get mauled, and rightly so, for saying "typical black person?" Typically, everyone would be outraged. And he would get the typical consequences of losing any election. Unless, of course, the media, typically, gives Obama a pass.

“I don’t lose sleep over it because the realities are that . . . as a black man . . . Barack can get shot going to the gas station,” Michelle Obama said in the interview, set to air Sunday night. “You can’t make decisions based on fear and the possibility of what might happen.”

Black man? Given his genetics, couldn't you also call him a "white man?" Are we supposed to judge him by his skin color?

Also, in her context, shot by whom? Why is being a black man prerequisite for being shot at a filling station? Is she saying that Barack would be shot BECAUSE he is black? Is she saying that he would be in a high crime area because he is black? Is she talking about black on black crime? Or could this be just racism on her part? She's worried about..........whom? She sounds....typical.

While Barack Hussein Obama is probably NOT a racist bigot, his world view has been slanted by the people with whom he has associated. A spiritual advisor like Rev. Wright will definitely influence Barack's attitude, if only subtly. One's beliefs and attitudes are always absorbed from the surrounding environment. His default position appears that white people are, if not evil, racist. If he was rejecting the basic premises of his advisors, friends and family, he would not be in that church. Obama is not the first man to reject what he saw as his family's values, ie., his grandmother, and join with the opposite. Instead of straddling the line of his racial makeup, he has apparently picked one side to favor.

So, exactly what kind of change is he hoping for?

Ryan Frederick vs Chesapeake

The Ryan Frederick case in Chesapeake has national level attention. Reason Online has an article about the tragedy and talks about the questions people have about the police and their policy of SWAT raids.

Kim du Toit
has a short opinion piece at his site and brings up a point that you don't see in the news. Nowhere else have I seen the report the Ryan Frederick may have been growing this plant. Look familiar? They tend to be found next to koi ponds. Like the one in Ryan Frederick's back yard.
The comments bring up other issues, such as the capability of the round that reportedly killed the policeman. Would it have penetrated a door and kept enough force to kill him, if the story of Ryan firing through the door is accurate?

From Reason's article:

One of the plants Frederick told the local television station he raised was the Japanese maple, a plant that, when green, has leaves that look quite a bit like marijuana leaves.

So far, Chesapeake police have given no indication that they did any investigation to corroborate the tip from their informant. There's no mention in the search warrant of an undercover drug buy from Frederick or of any extensive surveillance of Frederick's home.

More disturbingly, the search warrant says the confidential informant was inside Frederick's house three days before the raid—about the same time Frederick says someone broke into his home. Frederick's supporters have told me that Frederick and his attorney now know the identity of the informant, and that it was the police informant who broke into Frederick's home.

Since when does the law allow POLICE INFORMANTS to gather "evidence" by BREAKING INTO YOUR HOME?

The state needs to take this case over from the local authorities. Since a policeman was killed and the police story seems to change with every telling, an impartial investigator is needed to to get to the bottom of this case.

Why State Attorneys can drink and carry concealed

Apparently Governor Kaine, either can't read what he's signing, is willing to ignore parts of laws that he signs, has an incompetent law office that gives him bad advice, or he's lying to gun owners.

At a recent town meeting in Norfolk, VCDL member and blogger Curtis Stone, confronted the Governor about his inconsistencies in enforcing the laws of the land. His reply:

I explain it by saying you got the bills wrong. Your first statement of my veto was 100% accurate. Virginia does not allow concealed weapons to be carried into restaurants except by sworn law enforcement officers...

Commonwealth Attorneys are not sworn law enforcement...

Well, you know, I have a lot of lawyers and we spent a lot of time on this...

While Commonwealth Attorneys can carry concealed weapons because of the bill I signed, they can't take them into restaurants that serve alcohol.

Here is part of an email from the VCDL explaining the facts of life:

Here is the analysis:

18.2-308 is Virginia's concealed weapons code section

18.2-308 A lists all the weapons that are considered concealed if
carried "hidden from common" (this includes firearms, nun chucks,
daggers, etc.) and makes such carriage illegal.

18.2-308 B lists all the people who are TOTALLY EXEMPT from the
concealed weapons law, on-duty or off-duty, except from part J1
(below). Police are in this section and, now thanks to the Governor,
so are Commonwealth Attorneys

18.2-308 C lists all the people who are TOTALLY EXEMPT from the
concealed weapons law ONLY WHILE ON DUTY. This includes mail
carriers, the, er, Harbormaster of Hopewell (?!), and correctional

18.2-308 D creates a concealed handgun permit, which allows citizens
to carry a concealed handgun and not be charged with doing so.
However, the permit holder is not exempt from any of the other
provisions in the concealed weapons law, unlike the people in 18.2-308
B and C (above)

18.2-308 J1 says a person can't be drunk while carrying a concealed
handgun. This only applies to those listed in 18.2-308 B and 18.2-308
D. Interesting to note that 18.2-308 C is not covered. Thus, the
Harbormaster of Hopewell can actually be drunk and carry a concealed
handgun as long as he is on duty (or going to or from such duty)!

18.2-308 J3 says a person can't carry a concealed handgun into a
restaurant or club that serves alcoholic beverages. It does say that
a sworn law enforcement officer can do so, but that is actually
irrelevant since everyone listed in 18.2-308 B and C are exempt from
the concealed weapons law, including J3! (For legal clarity it is
common practice to state that such restrictions do not apply to sworn
police officers, even when such restrictions clearly don't apply

Step Up!

Giving equal time to the Fly boys

The ground pounders get all the attention.....

Where's the war?

Wow, I just can't get over the amount of news coverage yesterday. Did you see it? Amazing! Yeah, neither did I....

Have you noticed that even an anniversary of the Iraq Campaign doesn't get coverage? Even with protesters running amok in D.C.? Ok, not so much... more like a busy stroll.....

The MSM just doesn't want to bring anyone's attention to Iraq now that there is good news.....
There's even less news about Afghanistan. THAT campaign has never gotten enough press. No hotels for the media....

According to Glenn Beck, on the radio right now:

Iraq made up 3% of the news this time. 27% last year.......
Cable news - 1% vs 24%

And there is 0% that shows the good news about the great things that the soldiers are doing.

They stopped covering the war right after General Petraeus's report.

I guess no one wants to see good news....

David Thibodeaux - Marine Music NOT READY TO END THE FIGHT

I found this over at our honorary American's site. Theo finds the best stuff:

"Cpl. David Thibodeaux was in Iraq with 3rd Battalion, 6th Marines, when the Dixie Chicks partnered with anti-war group in 2004."

Video can be found at Military Times.
"Marine Cpl. David Thibodeaux's song is a rallying cry to stay the course."

Check out the David's site at David Thibodeaux Music. Contact your local radio station. This song is ready for radio.

Moonbats celebrate the 5th anniversary of the liberation of Iraq

The complete and utter blindness of these people continues to astound me. They want us to take them seriously. But they keep doing things like this:

From Zombietime. See the rest.

Michelle Malkin has the Moonbat Marching orders:

Blockade the IRS at 8 am with War Resisters League, CODEPINK and friends at 12th and Constitution Ave. Help expose the real cost of war by shutting down the IRS first thing in the morning...
Like this is going to offend ANYBODY....

They like the word "creative"....

planning a variety of creative actions using nonviolent civil disobedience,

Self-Guided Monopoly Board Walking Tour will provide opportunities to creatively communicate

Nonviolent civil disobedience, street theatre, creative props and leafleting and more!

culminating with creative acts of civil resistance at the White House and Veterans Administration.

creative affinity groups activities

Veterans March for Peace will gather...acts of civil resistance at the White House and Veterans Administration ( why the Vets admin? I thought this was the "underfunded good guys?")

The moonbats are determined to conduct "civil resistance." Since the only "resistance" that they will face is much energy is needed? Who's going to object to the street theater? The Capitol Police? Unless they commit assault or trespass, the police couldn't care less what they do....

creative actions using nonviolent civil disobedience, ( being creative again...)
Nonviolent civil disobedience,
acts of civil resistance
Join World Can’t Wait in acts of civil resistance

Touch ANYBODY and it becomes violent. Please arrest some of those World Can't Wait idiots.....

Then there is this....

Critical Mass: Kick the Oil Addiction that Fuels the War. We will ride around the city focusing on specific areas that support the war as well as riding by other actions to show our solidarity. Please come with costumes or signs about no oil.
That's certainly "creative." Irony, either you get it or you don't.

I'd sue the tour group: Funk the War: Student Power Dance Party Against Empire with Students for a Democratic Society, Baltimore Algebra Project, and Our Spring Break in a dance party in the streets, touring the war profiteers, recruiters and media sites in the K St corridor.
How sad are you if THIS is your spring break dance party....

March of the Dead with Activist Response Team (A.R.T.) and other activists who join us will imagine what would happen if the dead, civilian and military, return to enter Washington to seek justice...
ZOMBIES! ZOMBIES! RUN FOR YOUR ....oh, wait, didn't I see this in a movie....
However, these bastards need to have a their butts kicked: some wearing the name of someone killed...

A demonstration showing that waterboarding is torture is planned directly in front of the residence of the biggest war criminal in history.
One - if you can demonstrate it in public to a volunteer, its not torture....two - you're in the wrong country for the "biggest war criminal in history." That would be in (pick communist or fascist country of your choice.) If this person was a "war criminal" as bad as you say, YOU would be in jail instead of conducting ineffectual self-important street theater....

Surprise Media Actions! Depending on coverage earlier in the day will help determine our afternoon actions! The media has continued to stand by our warmongering president and Congress by refusing to conduct proper investigative reporting, withholding information, and giving scant coverage to voices opposed to the war. If they don’t come to us, we will go to them.
Well, they got it half right. And if they "go to them," THAT is something I want to see. But how do the protesters intend to FORCE the media to support them.....

March on the DNC Headquarters! Gather at Reflecting Pool on the West side of the Capitol at 5:00 PM and march with pots and pans in a cacophony of resistance to the Democratic National Committee Headquarters. We want the Democrats to know~~-we hold them accountable for the death, destruction and lies, what kind of change and experience we want and that we will continue to take action and intervene in their business...
Hey, I want to do that too! Anything that interferes in THEIR business. Go for it. Bring CNN! MSNBC! FOX! They'll give you extra coverage....

Oh, thought that you would like to know:

Free Republic and DC Protest Warriors will be at 14th and L recruiting station all day.

Berkeley Recruiting Station will be manned by Free Republic

Chapel Hill, NC Recruiting Station will be manned by Eagles UP! and Gathering of Eagles.

By the way, Congress is NOT in session. And its supposed to rain.

In related news from Mark My Words:

Who said this: You defeated us! We knew it, and we thought you knew it. But we were elated to notice your media was definitely helping us. They were causing more disruption in America than we could in the battlefields. We were ready to surrender. You had won!"

General Vo Nguyen Giap- the brilliant, highly respected leader of the North Vietnam military.

And from a commenter on Michelle's site:

Joseph Stalin: “America is like a healthy body, and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we (communists) can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.”
Communist Goals (1963)
Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35
January 10, 1963

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use “united force” to solve economic, political or social problems.
43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

Sound familiar?

The Grand Master has died. RIP Arthur C. Clarke

"I don't believe in God but I'm very interested in her."

"The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them into the impossible."

Arthur C. Clarke, who arguably ushered in the space age, and in spite of all of his accomplishments, wanted most to be remembered as a write, has passed away at the age of 90. Mr. Clarke has now ventured into the impossible and discovered the truth of his belief.....

God Bless, may your journey take you into the stars. Thank you for inspiring me.

"Perhaps, as some wit remarked, the best proof that there is Intelligent Life in Outer Space is the fact it hasn't come here. Well, it can't hide forever - one day we will overhear it. "

Second Amendment should be enforced like the First Amendment

In honor of the Heller vs D.C. case being heard today, at the Supreme Court, I just have a short observation. I want the Second Amendment to be as widely interpreted as the First Amendment is, with as few restrictions. I'll even settle for a McCain-Feingold version of a restriction - I won't donate any weapons to a politician.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Since I know that liberals are enthusiastic about allowing the citizenry to exercise their all of the their rights, I know that I can speak for everyone in wishing that the Supremes decide on the side of the greatest freedom.

Winter's Soldiers Story: Commentary War and Politics

What A Difference A Year Makes

In keeping with my Brother Blogger Cargosqiud's theme of one year anniversaries, I give you Eagles one year later:

What a difference 366 days will make. To all who came out, Thank You!!!
To those who couldn't make it, you missed a great time, and I hpoe you'll consider DC in April. It will be interesting.

Happy Anniversary to me! Cargosquid is one year old today. Well, yesterday....

Yesterday was my one year Blogging anniversary! Who knew? One year ago, I was sitting in Qatar, drinking green beer at the USO Irish Pub! And Patriots were defending the Wall.
So in honor of my First and Second posts, here they are again. And guess what, they are still accurate, considering the actions in D.C. this weekend.

Thank you so much for this opportunity to join this conversation and community.

Here is a chance for United Effort.

This Gathering of Eagles is a chance for the more proactive groups of patriotic Americans to band together with the more establishment groups. I've attended a few counter protests to the "peace" movement run by the communist party of America. Unfortunately we are always outnumbered. Rarely seen are the VFW and American Legion. Don't get me wrong. This is NOT, I repeat, NOT a dig at those wonderful organizations, of which I AM a member. But they don't tend to organize for this type of activity. We need their help. We need to get their memberships as active as Protest Warrior and Free Republic, and of course, our Conservatives here in Virginia. The VFW and American Legion seem to need a wake up call to the danger of not responding to the propaganda of the left. If the mainstream patriotic/vet organizations members do not get in front of the cameras to fight the message put out by the press and the left (repetitive, I know), the "peace movement" gets all the news. Again, I have the greatest respect for all of the mainstream organizations. If they are doing what I've described, and I just haven't seen it, I apologize. But please don't let this moment pass us by. Thanks again, from the Sandbox

A Sailor thanks you

To all of the Eagles that gathered,
Thank you for such a great turnout. I wished so much to be there. And not just to leave here. It's warm, here. To see that great turnout, all over the web, brought a tear of joy and choked me up. Thank you again.

We're all Irish today

Happy St. Patrick's Day! If you must drink irresponsibly, have fun doing it.

And make sure you have essential supplies on hand.....

Remember its a sin NOT to kiss that beautiful girl....

And of course, why would you even think of driving away from such a celebration? I didn't think so.

And if you see a small, wee man dressed in green, promising to make your wishes come true in exchange for "personal" favors.....
....there are no such things as Leprechauns!

And to all of my fellow Protest Warriors, Eagles, Veterans, and Patriots, that served our country in D.C. this weekend, I'll raise a glass in your honor. Probably more than one.

As has been amply demonstrated, the Peace Movement - isn't.

The military is responding to the threat. Found in many place on the net from Michelle Malkin, The Gunthing Forum and, of course, Google....

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED
Caveats: NONE

For your information. As the 5th anniversary of the Iraq war approaches, protest groups are increasing activity, some to include a direct threat to Recruiters, other Soldiers, others with DoD decals and their families. Areas of concern include Seattle and Tacoma, Washington; Pittsburgh; Washington, DC.; Chicago; Chapel Hill, NC; New York; Orlando and many locations in

Mitigation recommendations include standard AT/FP precautions to include:

- Avoid known risks
- Remain vigilant
- Use the Buddy system
- Inspect vehicles
- Do not engage belligerents

I did not link or provide the actual text found because the message, while UNCLASSIFIED, was still FOUO (FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY). Mentioned specifically was the Tacoma Mall Recruiting Station.

Update: Tacoma recruiters were defended by patriots outnumbering the World Can't Wait protesters.
There were puppets! And big fake articulated paper- mache things. VIDEO

Progressives eat their own

Pro-Clinton writers abused on DailyKos. Walkout!

On Friday, it got to be too much for Alegre, a diarist on the flagship liberal blog DailyKos, who frequently writes in support of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

“I’ve put up with the abuse and anger because I’ve always believed in what our online community has tried to accomplish in this world,” Alegre wrote Friday evening. “No more.”

Objecting to the tone of attacks against Mrs. Clinton and her supporters on the blog, the diarist called for a “writers strike.”

“This is a strike - a walkout over unfair writing conditions at DailyKos. It does not mean that if conditions get better I won’t ‘work’’ at DailyKos again,” Alegre wrote, promising to come back only “if we ever get to the point where we’re engaging each other in discussion rather than facing off in shouting matches.”

At DailyKos? Is he crazy? Where has he been? And now he's getting his feelings hurt......

Support the troops in D.C. The lies have started again. John Kerry would be proud.

Winter Soldier II and the IVAW (Idiot Veterans Assisting Wahabbiism) are in DC this weekend, undermining our troops.

The one thing that I will say about the IVAW. There are some, some, troops in that organization that are honorable. The rest do not have the well meaning of our country in their hearts. I've seen too many posts by their members advocating violence against their fellow service members and actual sabotage of the war effort. Too many fake soldiers have been put forth in their effort to besmirch the reputation of our military. There are soldiers that are actually against the war and have become objectors. But, if you wish to be respectable, don't associate with enemies of our country like A.N.S.W.E.R. and Code Pink.

Col. Riley of Eagles UP has a good article at Human Events: Lock Arms with American Defenders
"When anti-American organizations and demonstrators march through our city streets spewing hatred and venom, many Americans simply shrug their shoulders, assuming without question that the streets belong to the malcontents.

I disagree vehemently. As a professional soldier I do not believe in the concept of conceding any portion of the battlefield to the enemy..."

From Mike Connelly, in response to a comment that protesters are just exercising their 1st Amendment rights: "The mere act of protesting does not make someone the enemy. But when protest become vile displays of hatred toward our commander-in-chief, flag burning, defacing memorials, spitting on veterans, standing outside Walter Reed Army Hospital chanting that our wounded and recovering soldiers deserved their injuries, then I count these "protesters" as enemies of America and enemies of mine."

And from Carl Branstetter: John writes: "The protestors are not "the enemy" but American citizens engaged in the enjoyment of their First Amendment rights."

False dichotomy. Exercising one's rights, and being a domestic enemy, are not mutually exclusive acts. We observe the media fully shielding itself behind the 1st Amendment as it provides aid and comfort to our enemies and demoralizes our troops, leaders, and populace.

The wicked commonly employ the virtues of the good as a weapon against them."

If you have the time, Go to D.C. and support the troops.

Obama's values

A boy's earliest influence is his parents. Second are the philosophies taught to them by religion. Values taught to the young, unless consciously rejected, will be important to them for their entire lives.

A saying, attributed to the Jesuits, illustrates: "Give me a child of seven, and I will show you the man." Another version: "Give us a boy between the age of 7 and 12, and he is ours for life."

Our Constitution addresses this by requiring that all Presidents be natural born, on the premise that the basic values of the US will be instilled in the individual in childhood.

Barack Hussien Obama, born of a marxist mother and a Muslim father, raised by a devout Muslim step-father, educated in Indonesian madrases, a Muslim until twenty years ago, then becoming a Muslim apostate and professing to be born again in Christianity, then joined an Afro-centric Christian church that blames whites for everything.

Apostasy is punishable by death in the Muslim world. Why did he so soundly reject it, knowing the consequences? Will he speak out about what made him reject the Muslim faith?

What values does he hold that allow him to support a bigoted minister, honor another bigoted minister, and supports a cousin in Kenya that is threatening violence and ethnic cleansing?

What values allow him to be friends with unapologetic terrorists that declared war on the USA?

What values do you have? Would you support a Democratic or Republican candidate with similar issues?

Barack Obama needs to give a speech explaining himself, similar to the ones given by JFK and Romney. If Americans were so "worried" about Mormon values and Catholic values, why should we not be worried about Obama's values?

To any Democrats or liberal independents voting for Obama

The Wall Street Journal has a few observations....

The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr., pastor of Mr. Obama's Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, gave the sermon at the school's Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel in Washington on Jan. 15, 2006.

"We've got more black men in prison than there are in college," he began. "Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded and how this country is still run. No black man will ever be considered for president, no matter how hard you run Jesse [Jackson] and no black woman can ever be considered for anything outside what she can give with her body."

Mr. Wright thundered on: "America is still the No. 1 killer in the world. . . . We are deeply involved in the importing of drugs, the exporting of guns, and the training of professional killers . . . We bombed Cambodia, Iraq and Nicaragua, killing women and children while trying to get public opinion turned against Castro and Ghadhafi . . . We put [Nelson] Mandela in prison and supported apartheid the whole 27 years he was there. We believe in white supremacy and black inferiority and believe it more than we believe in God."

His voice rising, Mr. Wright said, "We supported Zionism shamelessly while ignoring the Palestinians and branding anybody who spoke out against it as being anti-Semitic. . . . We care nothing about human life if the end justifies the means. . . ."

Concluding, Mr. Wright said: "We started the AIDS virus . . . We are only able to maintain our level of living by making sure that Third World people live in grinding poverty. . . ."

This speech has so many holes in it, that its not worth "fisking." But I think any black woman that reads this, like say, Michelle Obama, should be upset with this man's views on a black woman's status in America. She is living proof that this demagogue preacher is either lying or deluded.

Again, why are people voting for a man that supports a "minister" like this one?
When is Obama going to answer the questions about his beliefs and how they relate to his membership in this church?

Would you vote for any other candidate that associated with these views and asked advice from a man like this?

You won't find the major media going "Outside the Wire"

Outside the Wire premiered at CPAC.

The 'Outside the Wire' series of four documentaries about Iraq started when JD Johannes went to Iraq with his old Marine Corps unit in 2005 to produce syndicated television news reports.

Johannes returned to Iraq in 2007 to see 'The Surge' and the 'Anbar Awakening' first hand.

The 2005 trip resulted in the the release of the original 'Outside the Wire: Call Sign Vengeance' which follows one Marine infantry platoon through their deployment to the Fallujah area in 2005.

The 2007 trip resulted in three documentaries: 'Danger Close', 'Anbar Awakens' and 'Baghdad Surge'.

J.D. Johannes also has a blog. Today's post mentions those Idiot Veterans Assisting Wahhabiism in their slavish imitation of John Kerry and Winter Soldier.

To those of you faithful readers in the media business, please take a look at this documentary. Support his work. You won't find this on the evening news.
