Think about this....

Many politicians, especially certain ones running for President, say that withdrawing our troops from Iraq would result in a positive outcome.

Take a look at Basra. The British kept a low profile, negotiated peace settlements, made deals, and didn't shoot certain people that desperately needed it. This comment is not a disparagement against our brave allies. They conducted their segment of the campaign with great bravery, skill, and fortitude, using tactics and strategy that they thought best. They were the authority on that battlefield.
And then their government had them withdraw.

Now look at it.

Now picture that situation all across Iraq.
