The movie Redacted was a grotesque monstrosity that was specifically designed to show the American soldier as an evil Crusader pillaging, raping, burning and murdering his way through the Muslim world. For that Brian De Palma and Mark Cuban, who helped fund it, deserve to burn in Hell. Now they have the blood of the US troops killed in Frankfurt splashed on themselves head to toe.

According to the German wire service dapd, the German Attorney General’s Office has confirmed that the video clip viewed by the Frankfurt Airport shooter Arid Uka — and that allegedly provoked him to kill American soldiers — was indeed the rape scene from Brian De Palma’s fictional anti-Iraq War movie Redacted. Attorney General spokesperson Frank Wallenta confirmed the identity of the clip to the German television news magazine Spiegel TV.

I don't believe there is any reason or justification for censoring almost anything that people want to publish. But you do bear the consequences of your actions, and those two bastards had a hand in this. They made this film specifically to inflame anyone who saw it with the belief that Americans are evil and inhuman. I don't believe they specifically wanted some Muslim scumbag to kill Americans, but it was an easily foreseeable outcome and like I said, they bear that responsibility and I wish I believed they would feel as badly as they should about that.

A Couple of Things From This Weekend

I got back from DC this afternoon after dealing with moonbats, idiots, traitors, bigots, and public servants who refuse to listen to the will of the electorate.

Jonn over at This Aint Hell has more on everything except Arlington.

Lets deal with the serious stuff first:
1. Jerry Rivers had a report on FoxNews last night alleging that average Americans were standing out in front of the Canon Building yelling racial slurs and spitting on members of Congress on Saturday. As soon as the members of Congress affected by this alleged behavior produce a video of this incident which establishes proof beyond a reasonable doubt, I will be the first to call for the resigination of the members of whatever Tea Party/Citizens Group they belong to and insist they perform various acts of contrition which may include but not be limited to, cleaning toilets, scrubbing floors, painting houses, and raking leaves for the members of Congress affected. Bigotry in any form cannot be tolerated in a free society. It must be eliminated.

So far the only video of the event available does not support the alleged bigotry and hatred.



2. We do however, have documented evidence of true hatred and bigotry which ocurred Sunday morning at the Arlington National Cemetary. I went to Arlington National Cemetary this morning and witnessed it in its purest form. Westboro Ba'athist Chruch made an appearence this morning at 1100. Members of DCFreeRepublic, DCProtestWarrior, Gathering of Eagles and the Old Guard stood in support of the heros who could not stand for themselves. Yes, I said the Old Guard. These young Warriors exhibited an enormous amount of restraint and professionalism during this incident.

Virginia Board of Elections Should Be Ashamed

Judge: Va. violated absentee voters' rights

RICHMOND A federal judge ruled Friday that Virginia violated the voting rights of military service members and other Americans living overseas when electoral officials failed to send them ballots for last year's presidential election on time.

U.S. District Judge Richard Williams also ordered the Virginia Board of Elections to count and certify valid absentee ballots for the election after it reaches an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice on how the process will be conducted. The count won't change the outcome of the election, which President Obama won in Virginia by nearly 233,000 votes.

The ballots from military service members and others living outside Virginia were the focus of a lawsuit filed by Republican candidate John McCain's campaign, which alleged that they weren't mailed in time for voters to cast their ballots before the polls closed on Nov. 4, 2008. The Justice Department replaced the campaign as the plaintiff after Judge Williams ruled that the Republican ticket lacked standing to sue.

Judge Williams said in an opinion Thursday that Virginia's failure to mail more than 2,100 absentee ballots at least 30 days before the election violated the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act. At least 96 of the ballots were received by local registrars after the polls closed and were not counted.
