[...] "These laws seem to be encouraging vigilantism by allowing individuals to use deadly force as a first resort," Schumer, D-N.Y., said in a statement.
Schumer asked Holder's department to probe whether the laws "are creating more violence than they are preventing," and whether potential murders are "going unprosecuted" because of them.
Senator Schumer had no comments about the $10,000 bounty the New Black Panthers have put on the head of George Zimmerman. The racist group hopes to increase the bounty to $1,000,000 through donations, mostly from black entertainers who support the call for vigilante justice.

Where Is the Media On the Robocall Scandal?

Earlier today Toby Harnden with the Daily Mail Tweeted me this update to the massive robocall scandal, perhaps one of the biggest criminal robocall enterprise in election history. My thought was that even the British media is covering this story. The British, not our own.

Only a few news outlets thus far (most notably in Cleveland) have covered the story and the RNC hasn't even registered a response. Writes Mike Flynn:And now it appears the illegal robocalls are back. BigGovernment has learned that voters in at least 5 states received the illegal calls yesterday; California, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin. The calls themselves are silly. They try to tie GOP House members to Rush Limbaugh and the media-created 'war on women's health' narrative. What isn't silly, however, is the deliberate violation of federal law by some national political operation. The brazenness of continuing the calls even after media scrutiny does not bode well for the integrity of the Fall elections. If some organization is willing to blatantly violate the law in March, what will they be prepared to do in October? What's perhaps more troubling, however, is the non-reaction from the GOP. Neither the hapless NRCC, whose members are targeted by the phone calls, nor the RNC have pushed back on the illegal calls. Neither have pushed for any kind of investigation or public scrutiny.

Illinois's Pat Brady is the only Republican speaking out:

A top Republican official has accused Democrats of being behind a fresh wave of illegal robocalls made to voters across the country by a shadowy group calling itself 'The Women of the 99 Percent'. Pat Brady, Republican party chairman in Illinois, issued a statement to MailOnline demanding a state investigation into the calls, first reported by MailOnline on March 9th. Voters in five districts in his state received more automated telephone calls yesterday linking Republican members of the House of Representatives to the conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh.

The automated calls are illegal because they do not state who they are from (there is no known group called The Women of the 99 Percent) or provide a callback number, as required under the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991.

'It is typical that a Democrat front group like this thumbs their noses at the same federal campaign finance laws they like to tout in their own campaign literature,' Brady said. He added that it was 'no coincidence' that the districts receiving the calls were all on 'the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) hit list', he demanding an immediate inquiry.

The organized effort is blatantly illegal yet there's been no investigation or even identification of the group responsible. Media will write reams about the Koch Brothers, but who's funding this egregiously expensive operation and why isn't it headline news?

Obama opposed the surge in Iraq, in fact the entire theater action.

Obama opposed Bush's policies.

Obama declared an END to the War on Terror.

Obama attempted to treat terrorists, unlawful combatants, as common criminals and close Guantanamo Bay.

Obama is STILL prosecuting those possibly involved in enhanced interrogations, actions that resulted the killing of Bin Laden.

Obama ignores the current troops STILL in Iraq, saying HE brought the troops home from Iraq, ignoring that it happened on BUSH'S timetable and plan.

Obama dithered about reinforcing Afghanistan, reluctantly agreeing to a piecemeal "surge" far smaller than requested.

Obama surrendered in Afghanistan, telling the Taliban our exit date, regardless of developments on the ground.

Obama, THANK GOD, realized that HIS plans were idiotic, and have reluctantly continued President Bush's policies.

If we had followed Obama's stated policies, Osama Bin Laden would still be alive today.


And yet, President Obama has the gall to use the killing of OBL as an fund raising tactic.

At a fund raising speech in Austin, Texas, following a hypocritical illegal amnesty speech in El Paso, Peter Nicholas of the LA Times, reports: (emphasis mine)

Early in Obama's appearance, someone shouted out, “Thank you for getting Bin Laden!’’

Obama said that was a “case in point’’ – a reason for voters to let him “finish what we started.’’

....Obama ticked off what he described as his administration’s accomplishments: lifting the ban on gays in the military; bringing troops home from Iraq.

"FINISH WHAT WE STARTED?" Finish what WE started? Who is this "WE" that you speak of, President Obama? YOU don't even believe we're IN a freaking war! Its not "terrorism." Its "man caused disasters." Its not Islamists or Jihadists. Its...well, actually, you don't say...because your people never admit to motivations behind the attacks. And what's this about YOU bringing the troops home from Iraq? The troops that came home, did so on a timetable previously arranged by President Bush. THERE ARE STILL TROOPS IN IRAQ IN HARM'S WAY. Twenty-one soldiers have died IN COMBAT since June of last year. But YOU brought the troops home....ok, then.

Thanks for joining the game, but, remember, YOU refused to be a starter on the team. You rejected and reviled American actions. President Bush was a criminal in your eyes. Giving you credit for getting anything done on the War is like giving credit to Richard Nixon for getting us to the moon, AFTER he campaigned on closing NASA.

In June, a conversation took place in a hotel restaurant in Washington. As a latecomer to the conversation, it was easy to pick up that the topic that was the $165 billion union pension bailout bill introduced by Sen. Bob Casey [D-PA] in March.

Obama and Democrats lie about Citizens United and campaign money

...it is telling that this White House would invest so much energy on pushing an argument that is so fundamentally false on its face. It tells you something about their respect for the American people, their belief in the gullibility of the media, and their character.

Barack Obama and the Democrats have a story about this election. It goes like this. The Supreme Court ruled that corporations have free speech rights in the Supreme Court decision Citizens United. Since then, all this corporate money has flowed into campaigns, blah blah blah. And the press has completely accepted this line of thinking.

It is complete nonsense. They probably want to concoct a falsehood so that this election somehow is not about the White House. But the reality is that their core narrative is simply false on its face.

In fact, the new Medicare prescription drug benefit enacted in 2006 (Part D) alone adds some $17 trillion to the projected Medicare shortfall - an amount greater than all of Social Security's unfunded obligations. (THANKS GEORGE! - This is one of the reasons why Republicans lost.)

Tell me again why this government control of health care is such a good idea? Has there EVER been a government program that came in at the predicted costs, much less reduced the national debt? EVER?

We suspect, however, that he cannot legally use taxpayer money for this purpose. Whitehouse.gov, is the property of the United States Government, and, as such, is the property of America’s taxpayers.

Transparent health industry reform

Many are decrying the lack of transparency in the current negotions over the "health care reform" bills. Why?

We know that BOTH the House and the Senate are engaged in criminal shenanigans. We know that both Pelosi and Reid are idiotic, corrupt boobs that care nothing for their constituents or their oaths of office. We know that, whatever bill released, none of the Representatives or Senators that vote for it will care what's in it or read it.

In answer to a question about said lack of transparency, she included in her reply, "we will do what is necessary to pass this bill."

The column notes that democrats aren't in panic mode yet. I beg to differ. I think their collective panties are in a very tight wad, and they will do anything to maintain the staus-quo. Just remember the axiom, "If it ain't close, they can't cheat."

It is difficult to remember when the American people have expressed such a deep level of disdain for Congress as they do now under the leadership of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. The latest NBC News-Wall Street Journal poll finds a pathetic 7 percent of Americans give Congress an above average job approval score. Worse, 34 percent now call this Congress one of the worst.

The survey numbers are especially bleak among incumbents. Only 38 percent say their representative should be re-elected, and 49 percent say it's time to give a new person a chance - the same percentage who said that before Republicans took control of the House in 1994.

No one is saying that retirements alone endanger the Democrats' 258-seat majority. Independent election analysts I've talked to say the number would have to climb a lot higher before than can happen.

"Democrats aren't at the panic point in this process. Keep in mind that Democrats lost 22 open seats in 1994. Right now, they only have seven potentially open vulnerable seats, including the four recent retirements," said David Wasserman, senior House elections analyst at the Cook Political Report, which closely tracks congressional races.

Maybe Its Time For Total Recall

This coming November we get the opportunity to replace the deadweight occupying the Capital Building in Washington DC. We can't replace all of them, because only about half of the Senate is up for re-election this cycle. We can replace at least one lying POS dhimmi Senator from Virginia, but suppose we could actually get a two for one deal?

Suppose enough concerned Virginia citizens got togther and signed a petition to put a ballot initiative/referendum to recall the most sleazy politician, (with the exception of Terry MaCauliffe) ever to stride upon the sacred soil of the Commwealth, Hizzoner Markie Mark Warner? Suppose just the idea of a ballot initiative was enough to make this dhimmi re-think his position on the welfare of Virginias' citizens?

How cool would that be? Do we have the votes? I think we do. I also think we have the moral authority to demand that our elected representatives actually represent the majority opinion, rather than toe a party line.

Think about it, Virginians. We have to do something.

Citizens Grand Jury Needs To Act

Indict Harry Reid, Ben Nelson and Bernie Sanders for the federal crime of bribery under 18 USC § 201. Reid bought votes with public money and Nelson and Sanders sold their votes for benefits for themselves and the citizens of Nebraska and Vermont to the detriment of the citizens of the other states.

It is up to the Senators to put a stop to these criminal actions. The Department of Justice won't investigate and the courts will not hear the charges unless the Senators themselves take the necessary political action to begin the process of enforcing our criminal laws.

Have the Senators and House members done this before without being called thieves and criminal conspirators? Yes, but it is time for it to stop. Congress is destroying our nation.

We are witnessing on a daily basis the largest theft of the public treasury that has ever happened in human history.

“By Any Legislative Means Necessary”
The American people do not like President Barack Obama’s health care plan. According to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll 42% of Americans “think his plan is a bad idea” compared to only 36% who think it is a good idea. 40% of Americans believe Obama’s health care plan “will result in the quality of your health care getting worse” compared to 24% who believe their care will get better. And 47% of Americans oppose “creating a public health care plan administered by the federal government” compared to only 43% who support it.

Facing this cratering of public support, the left in Congress is now considering abandoning moderates and independents to pass their narrow partisan ideal of health reform. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid spokesman Jim Manley promised yesterday that Democrats will pass Obamacare “by any legislative means necessary.”

What exactly does Senator Reid mean by ‘any legislative means necessary’? The Wall Street Journal explains: “Most legislation in the Senate requires 60 votes to overcome a filibuster, but certain budget-related measures can pass with 51 votes through a parliamentary maneuver called reconciliation.” The Congressional Budget Act of 1974 created reconciliation, but Congress didn’t really use it until the 1980s. In 1993, President Bill Clinton tried to use the rule to press his health care plan through the Senate, but Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) resisted, introducing the Byrd Rule which allows any Senator to strike specific provisions or amendments from legislation if a 60 vote Senate majority agrees that the item is “extraneous” to the budget. At the time Byrd specifically argued that health care was out of bounds for a process that was intended to only apply to budgets.

But Democrats in Congress are undeterred by history, precedent, and public opinion. They are now planning to split the bill into two parts: one bill with budget-related matters and another bill with policy changes such as the insurance market reforms. They even are prepared to argue that the core of the left’s health care vision: a government-run health care plan can be considered a budget related item. The WSJ reports: “Democratic leaders have concluded they can pack more of their health overhaul plans under this procedure, congressional aides said. They might even be able to include a public insurance plan to compete with private insurers, a key demand of the party’s liberal wing.”

The American people are already sick and tired of 1,000 page bills and strong arm legislative tactics. A new Gallup poll shows that 82% of Republicans and even 40% of Democrats disapprove of the job Congress is doing. Even more troubling for the “by any means necessary” crowd is that 70% of independents share a negative view of the House and Senate. Finally, a new Pew poll shows that for the first time since President Barack Obama took office the percentage of Americans who hold a favorable view of the Democratic Party has slipped below 50%. How will independents feel about liberals in Congress if they pass a health plan that 40% of Americans believe “will result in the quality of your health care getting worse”?

Corrupt Democrats continue with circus sideshow

Barney Fraud, um, Frank and Chris Dodd have been attacking those that received bonuses from government money for the last week. They feel that any entity that is "bailed out' should not pay any bonuses. Well, any bonuses that Chris Dodd did not authorize. So, let's penalize these people and take back their money. All of it. Not just the bonuses......

Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac and all recipients of bonuses should lose that money. What? AIG? Chris Dodd and Congress authorized that money to be paid to AIG, including the bonuses. Hell, the idiots in Congress are grilling the man that THEY put into AIG! Congress owns AIG! Liddy didn't authorize those bonuses. Dodd did. The Grand Inquisitor, Rep. Kanjorski, not only voted for the bill that authorized the bonuses, he voted AGAINST a bill that would have stopped the payment of those bonuses. Kanjorski received $12,000 in AIG contributions during the 2008 political cycle.

If it is lawful to tax AIG officials at confiscatory rates, why not tax Raines and Gorelick for their bonuses from Fannie and Freddie? Let's take back all of the political money, too.

Fannie Mae plans to pay retention bonuses of at least $1 million to four key executives as part of a plan to keep hundreds of employees from leaving the government-controlled company.

Rival mortgage finance company Freddie Mac is planning similar awards, but has not yet reported on which executives will benefit.

The two companies, which together own or back more than half of the home mortgages in the country, have been hobbled by skyrocketing loan defaults. Fannie recently requested $15 billion in federal aid, while Freddie has sought a total of almost $45 billion.

ABC is reporting that AIG gave funds to the Presidential campaigns AFTER getting bail out funds.

AIG's CEO Edward Libby, who took the job on the orders of Congress, at $1.oo per year, should stand up and tell Congress where they can put this sideshow. If there is such a problem with this, apparently either Libby is incompetant, or the man who hired him, Sec. of the Treasury Geitner, is incompetent. Cut this short. Let Libby do his job. Or fire him. Or his boss.

State of the Union since the election of the Democrats

Tell me again why electing these monsters into office was so much better than McCain. Tell me again why Obama doesn't need a lick of common sense or experience in the real world. Tell me again why staying home instead of voting for the GOP in 2006 was SUCH a good idea to punish the GOP....

The price of gold has risen over $200/oz. since election day.
The Dow Jones Average has dropped by nearly 2000 points since election day, has lost approximately 50% in value since its high in 2007, and is at its lowest since February, 1997. We have lost 12 years of gains!
Banks that were given billions, and refuse to state what they did with the money, are now asking for more.
Companies that were given bailouts, are now asking for more billions to drop into the money hole.
And the only sales that are booming are guns and ammo. 4.5 million NICS background checks for gun transfers since the election. And that's just the FFL dealers.....

The press has clamored that the economy has been bad since President Bush took office. Their predictions have finally come true. We ARE in a recession, one caused by debt, fear mongering, and unexplained runs on money market accounts. A run that the press has STILL refused to investigate. A recession that has yet to hit 1981-82 levels, yet could become a depression if the fear mongering by Congress, Obama, and the press, continues. Obama needs to continue this mode of operation in order to pass unread spending bills that include socialist programs that could not get passed, otherwise.

Malfeasance and corruption on the part of Congress created this mess. It is directly attributable to the Democrat Party, Barney Franks, Chris Dodd, Fannie and Freddie's failure, and Schumer's comments that caused a run on IndyBanc.

First, the banks tanked because of a mysterious run on the money market accounts. Bush pushed for the first bail out after this info and dangerous comments by Schumer about Indymac. Then, the Big Three needed to be rescued. They're "too big to fail." And the Democrats saw a crisis that just couldn't be wasted. Now everything that the Democrats hold dear needs a bail out. We're going to spend an additional TRILLION PLUS dollars on a spending bill that some say isn't BIG ENOUGH. NOW, the Democrats are asking for additional billions for more bailout. And this doesn't include the new budget that will saddle every taxpayer with a bill of over $20,000.00.

According to the budget document, here are the projected federal debt numbers:

Gross Federal debt in 2008 = $ 9.986 trillion (actual)

Gross Federal debt in 2009 = $12.704 trillion (est.)

Gross Federal debt in 2013 = $16.198 trillion (est.)

(That’s $16,198,000,000,000.00 for those who like to see the zeroes.)

So in one budget year, the Obama team wants to increase our national debt by 27% and over four years, by 62%. Staggering. I expect the actual numbers to exceed the estimates, unless Congress decides to throw even more tax increases into the equation.

Moving on, the budget document includes some economic assumptions on which the projections are based. One of those economic assumptions was so bogus I laughed out loud.Because the CBO estimates used by the White House do not take into account the recently passed stimulus bill. You know, that little $787 billion expenditure. (The budget document points that out in a tiny footnote.) Table S-8 shows that the White House assumes that real GDP will fall by 1.2% in 2009 then increase by 3.2% in 2010. That’s a gigantic swing in one year. Table S-8 also includes the real GDP estimates from the Congressional Budget Office. The CBO predicts that GDP will fall by 2.2% in 2009 and increase by only 1.5% in 2010. These numbers are significantly less optimistic than those of the White House and even these numbers are wrong. Why?

So why would the White House use CBO estimates that ignore the stimulus spending? You would hope that the stimulus bill would actually improve GDP growth. But, as I reported in this fantasy interview, the CBO ran GDP projections that included the stimulus spending. Those projections were for GDP to show no growth in 2013 and to actually begin to decline in 2014. No wonder the White House didn’t use those numbers in its budget document.

Apparently, the cure is actually what might kill us.

Its gotten so bad that even liberals are furious with Congress and Obama.

And Conservatives are actually protesting in the streets.

take a look at this woman. Now ask yourself, "If she can do it, how hard can it really be?"



This woman has NO CLUE how the real world works. But, she's on the Finance committee. She gets so excited and incensed that Barney Frank, that paragon of level headed civility has to tell her to stop.

And we see how well the mortgage industry is fairing. Heck, isn't the fact of Freddie/Fannie failing that started THIS WHOLE MESS?
