Class warfare erupted in a House Democratic Caucus meeting Tuesday, as Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s personal fortune was thrown in her face by a junior colleague angry about a proposal to freeze the pay of members of Congress.
Rep. Laura Richardson attacked Pelosi for endorsing the GOP-written pay freeze during a Tuesday caucus discussion of a possible Democratic amendment to the payroll tax cut, according to several sources who were in the room at the time. Both women are California Democrats.
The sources disagreed on the exact wording of the unusually direct shot at the party leader, but Richardson’s sentiment was clear: Pelosi, who is worth at least $40 million, doesn’t need the money as much as some of her colleagues, and she should have consulted with them before deciding to protect the GOP-written pay freeze.

This protest happened in September, 2009 but apparently it wasn't enough.

The fraud, deception, deceit and bribery occurring in Washington regarding Senator Ben Nelson's vote for the ‘any' health care bill is standard operating procedure. The way a President, Majority Leader in the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives do business would land any ‘average' American citizen in prison!

I wasn't a Member of Congress long when I learned this lesson. I was not supporting a major piece of legislation - and had been very vocal about it. I received a phone call from the Transportation Committee Chairman's office, who offered me $15 million to help finish Interstate 485 around Charlotte. I had championed that road when I was Mayor and they knew it was important to me. I said my vote was not for sale.

When politicians make such deals, in my opinion, they are compromising the integrity of their constituents who put their trust in them. So, what happened with Senator Ben Nelson from Nebraska, to change his mind about the health care bill, is not new.

First it has been reported that Senator Nelson was threatened by the President that if he did not vote for the ‘any' health care bill, that Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska would be closed. (Change we can believe in?) Then the Senator was offered free Medicaid for Nebraska. (That means that you and the rest of us Americans will be paying for it.)

Playing ‘let's make a deal' with YOUR money is how those politicians flex their power egos and control your life. THINK: 537 people (House, Senate, President, Vice President) control the lives of 308 million Americans - plus those not yet born who will also have to keep on paying the bill.You are now being lied to, deceived, manipulated and robbed of your hard earned money - money you and your family need. Next - higher taxes. You had better become active now! It's Christmas - they don't think you're paying attention.This health care bill is a momentous fraud. Those truly needing health care could be covered for a miniscule amount - compared to what this bill will cost you.

Instead the pirates in Washington continue to divide the fruits of your labor. Only you can stop it. Remember the lone student in China who stood in Tiananmen Square in Beijing in front of a tank? In effect, he was saying ‘give me liberty or give me death'.

Obviously here in America it will take tens of millions hitting the streets in protest to stand a chance of stopping this continuing march toward totalitarianism.

Citizens Grand Jury Needs To Act

Indict Harry Reid, Ben Nelson and Bernie Sanders for the federal crime of bribery under 18 USC § 201. Reid bought votes with public money and Nelson and Sanders sold their votes for benefits for themselves and the citizens of Nebraska and Vermont to the detriment of the citizens of the other states.

It is up to the Senators to put a stop to these criminal actions. The Department of Justice won't investigate and the courts will not hear the charges unless the Senators themselves take the necessary political action to begin the process of enforcing our criminal laws.

Have the Senators and House members done this before without being called thieves and criminal conspirators? Yes, but it is time for it to stop. Congress is destroying our nation.

The Dear Leader has just fired and replaced the head of a major corporation. And now we are hearing that GM may have to declare bankruptcy ANYWAY? Why doesn't Obama and co. get blamed for wasting billions of dollars on a failing corporation instead former CEO Wagoner. The administration was told repeatedly that GM would probably have declare bankruptcy months ago. But Obama and the democrats would not listen. THEY are the ones that are bankrupting the country.


That same Dear Leader has demanded that a major corporation be given to a foreign corporation for free. Chrysler was given 30 day to finalize any deal with Fiat or face the loss of billions in government aid. Fiat will assume a 35% (possibly raising to 55%) stake in the company, debt free. Why Fiat? Simple. Small cars. Supposedly Fiat will share technology with Chrysler enabling Chrysler to market fuel efficient cars. You know, similar to all those Fiats that you see Americans driving today.....Say goodbye to the Ferrari, Maserati, and the Alfa Romeo.......Can you see anyone buying a Chrysler Maserati?
How much of the bail out will be going to Fiat? Supposedly, Chrysler is to pay back the $6,000,000,000 that it will get as a result of this deal prior to Fiat assuming control of the company. (Fat chance.)

So, that means that Congress will control the wages of the executives of these companies also. Yet again, because of greed of Congress, Americans lose. Because Congress set taxes so high, yet allowed bonuses to be taxed at a lower rate, many executives take a low yearly salary and get paid year end bonuses as compensation. Not for performance, but, as a portion of their salary. Now, Congress wants to take this away from them.


Now that the financial institutions have taxpayer's money, certain Congressmen think that these employees should be paid like government bureaucrats. Of course, no Congressman ever gets rich from the taxpayer's money.....

Taxpayer are now like shareholders of your company. Indeed they are. Therefore it's no surprise to see taxpayers' elected representatives demand "their" management show accountability for major expenditures past and present.

Except that we are truly shareholders in our government, and THOSE employees refuse to be held accountable.

These officials evidently feel banks, once brought under the public umbrella, should be run not like businesses but like public agencies, where salaries are set by published charts rather than managers' discretion - and where bonuses don't exist. A great many voters seem to share that view. It all sounds fair - even logical. Until, that is, you stop to ponder what's the exit strategy. If every banker's pay is effectively subject to congressional review, who will want to work for banks?

I hope these people get good jobs in foreign firms.

Congress is blind. The conceited bastards running the circus evidently believe that being the head clown in the circus enables one to run the business end of it, too......

"Limbaugh isn't the only one who needs to be made uncomfortable about what he says on the radio," says a House leadership source. "We don't have as big a megaphone as these guys, but this all political, and we'll do what we can to gain the advantage. Top Virginia Democratic Strategist Linked To Pedophile Web Site

Richmond, Virginia. (August 25, 2007) – The Old Dominion Blog Alliance (“ODBA”), an organization of approximately 25 conservative Virginia bloggers founded on December 9, 2005, discovered on August 21 that someone registered the domain name of “olddominionblogalliance.com” on August 16 via GoDaddy.com’s Domains by Proxy service in order to conceal their identity. The domain was then set to forward to the web site for the North American Man-Boy Love Association ("NAMBLA"), an organization that promotes illegal activity between adults and children, including pedophilia.

Following this disclosure, the parties behind it were subsequently discovered to be Joe Stanley of Yellow Dog Strategy, a Democratic consultant who manufactured last year’s “macaca” gaffe by U.S. Sen. George Allen into an ex post facto racial slur and produced the controversial anti-Harris Miller mailing, and Ben Tribbett who runs the Northern Virginian blog “Not Larry Sabato.”

Evidence in hand and a confession by Mr. Stanley show that he was the one who purchased the domain name and then set it to forward to the NAMBLA web site. Mr. Tribbett, who is close to Mr. Stanley, proceeded to peddle the story to another blog and then feigned outrage at this action apparently in order to further raise the story’s visibility while maintaining deniability over it. Mr. Stanley undertook this action just two days after members of the ODBA began a concerted effort against state Sen. Roscoe Reynolds (D-20th Dist.), a candidate for whom Mr. Stanley has done work and who is locked in a tight reelection battle with Republican Jeff Evans. Sen. Reynolds advertises on “Not Larry Sabato.”

“Child sexual abuse is not a joke and certainly not a political tactic to be used in order to silence your political enemies,” said Kathryn Wilton of the blog CatHouse Chat, a member of the ODBA, the wife of a Navy veteran and mother. “Pedophilia is a morally repugnant behavior and how Mr. Stanley or Mr. Tribbett could think this is humorous or fair game politically is beyond my comprehension.”

“Senator Reynolds needs to go on the record whether or not he agrees with these abhorrent tactics used on his behalf,” added Greg Letiecq of Black Velvet Bruce Li, one of the most widely read blogs in Virginia. “Joe Stanley did this to benefit him. Reynolds must either expressly condone or renounce these tactics used for his gain.”

Members of the ODBA are currently considering whether to bring any civil legal claims stemming from this defamatory act perpetrated upon them. Should a case be brought and damages awarded, any proceeds will be donated to organizations that fight child abuse.

Joe Stanley, NAMBLA and Democrat Politics

Joe Stanley is a Democrat/ick political hack who has a penchant for usurping the identities of political opponents by buying up domain names. It may be legal but it is certainly unethical and smarmy to boot.

Sometimes he creates slick little websites impugning the integrity and character of good people and when called to task claims it is "parody".

Sometimes he re-directs the domain names to the campaign site of the candidate he his working for. For example, let's say you are looking for information about Fred Smith. You do a google and see a link to fredsmith.com. But the link takes you directly to ImaJerk.com who is Fred Smith's opponent. Isn't that special?

He decided to pick on the Old Dominion Blog Alliance, bought the domain name and re-directed it to NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association). It is unclear at this time, as far as I can determine, whether he has a connection within that organization that gave him permission to link to NAMBLA.

I thought I would use this blog post to link to a few items and stories about Joe Stanley. The man seems to personify an ethically challenged entity without a moral compass that mascarades these days as the Democratic Party of Virginia.

Ferguson's campaign that year was the closest any Democrat has come to defeating Dudley since he first won election in a close race over Wes Naff in 1993. With a campaign orchestrated by political consultants Dave "Mudcat" Saunders and Joe Stanley, Ferguson cast himself as an "Old Timey Democrat" in the mold of Harry Truman. He used radio ads broadcast on country music and conservative talk radio stations to attack Dudley both personally and politically.

Web surfers looking for Mac McCadden's campaign Web site might end up confused if they're searching by domain name.

Enter macmccadden.com, .net or .org and your Web browser will take you not to the site of the man challenging Onzlee Ware for the Democratic nomination in the 11th House District, but to Ware's site. Instead, McCadden's site is at www.mccaddenfordelegate.com.

Blame it on Joe Stanley, a Franklin County political consultant who in 2005 acquired allendudley.com when his client, Rocky Mount lawyer Eric Ferguson, was running against Del. Allen Dudley in the 9th District.

Last year Stanley did some more speculating on domain names. He purchased a number of domains from godaddy.com for $1.99 each. His purchases included a variety of sites based on the names of various political candidates, including both allies and enemies.

Stanley bought onzleeware.com, which he ended up designing for the incumbent delegate. He then directed the McCadden domains, which he purchased in January, to Ware's site.

Likewise, allendudley.com, along with the domains consisting of a number of other potential Republican candidates in the 9th District, now point to Ferguson's campaign site.

Despite all this, Stanley said he's been unable to acquire his own domain name. Unfortunately, he said, joestanley.com has been unavailable since he started inquiring about it in the late '90s.

Republicans have selected longtime sheriff's office Lt. Ewell Hunt, and Democrats have chosen Capt. W.Q. "Billy" Overton.

A volunteer for Sen. George Allen's re-election effort will avoid a campaign-related trespassing conviction so long as the volunteer stays out of legal trouble for the next 90 days, a Roanoke judge ruled Friday.

Judge Jacqueline Talevi said that although there was enough evidence to convict James Hunter Pickels of a misdemeanor trespassing charge, she would be willing to dismiss the case in three months.

Joe Stanley, a Democratic Party organizer, alleged that Pickels refused to leave an April 27 kickoff rally in Roanoke for James Webb, the Democratic candidate challenging Allen, a Republican, in November.

At the time Pickels was working as a "tracker" for the Allen campaign, following Webb around the state with a video camera.

Pickels testified that once he left the building, he did not return. Stanley, however, told the court that Pickels hovered on the doorjamb after being told to leave.

Nixon, who was representing Pickels pro bono, argued that his client did not think he was trespassing because he had responded to an invitation posted on a Web site run by Virginia Democrats. Pickels noted that he had responded to similar invitations for other events throughout the state and had attended them without incident.

Goode's press conference, which took place in the Franklin County Courthouse, was secured by a number of county sheriff's deputies. Franklin County Sheriff W.Q. "Quint" Overton said Goode had requested the security because he wanted to ensure that only members of the media attended. The only person turned away was Joe Stanley, the chairman of the Franklin County Democratic Committee.

Overton said Goode had received threats. Goode declined to comment on that matter.

"WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Clinton's national security adviser removed classified documents from the National Archives, hid them under a construction trailer and later tried to find the trash collector to retrieve them, the agency's internal watchdog said Wednesday.

Berger took the documents in the fall of 2003 while working to prepare himself and Clinton administration witnesses for testimony to the September 11 commission. Berger was authorized as the Clinton administration's representative to make sure the commission got the correct classified materials.

Brachfeld's report included an investigator's notes, taken during an interview with Berger. The notes dramatically described Berger's removal of documents during an October 2, 2003, visit to the Archives. Berger took a break to go outside without an escort while it was dark. He had taken four documents in his pockets.
"He headed toward a construction area. ... Mr. Berger looked up and down the street, up into the windows of the Archives and the DOJ [Department of Justice], and did not see anyone," the interview notes said. He then slid the documents under a construction trailer, according to the inspector general. Berger acknowledged that he later retrieved the documents from the construction area and returned with them to his office.
"He was aware of the risk he was taking," the inspector general's notes said. Berger then returned to the Archives building without fearing the documents would slip out of his pockets or that staff would notice that his pockets were bulging.
The notes said Berger had not been aware that Archives staff had been tracking the documents he was provided because of earlier suspicions from previous visits that he was removing materials. Also, the employees had made copies of some documents.
In October 2003, the report said, an Archives official called Berger to discuss missing documents from his visit two days earlier. The investigator's notes said, "Mr. Berger panicked because he realized he was caught." The notes said that Berger had "destroyed, cut into small pieces, three of the four documents. These were put in the trash." After the trash had been picked up, Berger "tried to find the trash collector but had no luck," the notes said. Significant portions of the inspector general's report were redacted to protect privacy or national security."

I'll bet Sandy "Burgler" was panic-stricken when he got caught. I'll bet he was having visions of Fort Marcy Park all morning.

I thought his story was that he got the papers "mixed up with his own" and t00k some of them home. This sounds more like conspiracy to me. [Bill] Clinton initally laughed the whole thing off, as though it were some stupid joke.

Hillary is no better; after years of "searching" for her Rose Law Firm billing records, a great big box of them mysteriously "appeared" on a table in the White House.

The 100-plus pages of billing records outline Mrs. Clinton's legal work for McDougal's Madison Guaranty S&L, including more than a dozen meetings with Hubbell's father-in-law, Seth Ward, an S&L employee who was paid more than $300,000 in disputed commissions. The first lady and Ward say they recall nothing of the meetings. Hubbell has testified that Foster was the last one he saw handling the billing records. "

I Would Have Sat This One Out...

State Rep. Karen Carter has conceded and it looks like Congressman William Jefferson of Louisiana's 2nd District will return to Washington. Whether he will do so with another freezer full of cash is unclear at this time. I would suggest an Igloo Cooler on wheels for travel, tho'.

After reading about them, I found two campaign commercials on YouTube, one from each candidate, both speak volumes about a profound moral myopia these two democrat/ics seem to be afflicted with.

This December election will be the last one for Louisiana as new legislation requires the state to drop its third world, free-for-all, non-partisan primary system instituted by a former Governor, Edwin Washington Edwards, now wearing soap on a rope at a federal correctional facility.

Back in 1991, thanks in part to the primary system he instituted, the corrupt, racketeer Edwin Edwards faced a run off with David Duke, neo-nazi kkk dude. I would have sat that one out too.
