If you don't think that you are qualified to serve in Congress,

take a look at this woman. Now ask yourself, "If she can do it, how hard can it really be?"



This woman has NO CLUE how the real world works. But, she's on the Finance committee. She gets so excited and incensed that Barney Frank, that paragon of level headed civility has to tell her to stop.

Paul F., commenting at Megan McArdle, puts it:
Of course if one of the CEOs was black, she would defend him to the hilt.
Maxine Waters: Through nearly a dozen hearings, we were frankly trying to fix something that wasn’t broke. Mr. Chairman, we do not have a crisis at Freddie Mac, and particularly at Fannie Mae, under the outstanding leadership of Franklin Raines. [Raines would barely avoid prosecution for fraud.]


And we see how well the mortgage industry is fairing. Heck, isn't the fact of Freddie/Fannie failing that started THIS WHOLE MESS?
