Allen-Kaine AP Debate Doesn't Serve the People

Condescending politicians bore me. Blatant hypocrisy irritates my very last nerve.

The AP has excluded at least two viable candidates from the debate in December sinply because the AP is the LSM and they think they can dictate who the respective nominees are going to be 6 months before the primary. The citizens of the Commonwealth should be outraged and the AP servers should be melting down from the incoming emails demanding all viable candidates for the Senatorial nomination be given a spot in the debate.

One of those viable candidates, IMAO, is Mrs Jamie Radtke. Jamie Radtke is a friend of this blog. Our blogmistress Flora MacDonald speaks very highly of Mrs Radtke and I value Flora's opinion. I have posted at least one column written by Mrs. Radtke here, because that's what we do; share information relevant to Viriginia conservative politics. Her writing alone qualifies her for a spot in the AP debate. She is a genuine voice for Virginia grassroots conservatives and the AP should be ashamed...oops what was I thinking? The LSM has no shame.

If the AP really had the interests of the citizens of our Commonwealth in mind, they would allow Mrs Radtke to participate in the debate. Anyone who believes in the Original Intent of The Founders and their concept of a citizen government should let the AP know we don't appreciate being told who we can and cannot hear.

We Don't Need Continuity, We Need Reciprocity

If you listened to Doc today, he was asking for continuity in the manner in which the liberal left is dealing with the Ground Zero mosque.

That is a fair request, but I doubt the left will ever grant it.

I, on the other hand, want reciprocity. I want the practitioners of Islam to grant the same freedoms and rights we as Americans are obligated, according to the Most High Annointed One (may peace be upon him), to grant them under our Constitution.

Problem is: practitioners of Islam do not recognize any document other than the Koran. Islam is not just a religion, it is a form of government. Predominately muslim countries have no constitution. They have Islam and the Koran and culture police. They have no religous freedom. Christians and Jews are routinely persecuted and possession of a Bible in a muslim country could result in a death sentence.

Islam, as practiced today, cannot exist under our Constitution and our Bill of Rights, simply because the Koran is antithetical to our system of government, and while we are more than willing to allow anyone to worship anything, a religion which places women in a less than human standing cannot be allowed. Any system which discriminates against non-believers cannot function in our society, because we have the God given right to believe anything we want. We have the God-given right of free will and self-determination. Islam and the Koran do not recognize those rights.

As a Christian, I am directed by the Bible to tell others about Jesus and the way to salvation and Heaven. I am not obligated to do it. If I choose to do so, I am also directed to not cast my pearls before swine, or preach to dogs. Those are metaphors for non-believers. I am not directed to force those non-believers into salvation, nor am I directed to kill them for being non-believers. Thats the beauty of free will. The Koran directs followers of Islam to convert those they can and kill the ones they can't.

A religion which directs its followers to kill is not a religion, its a cult. Just like Charles Manson or Jim Jones.

Crazy wackjobs.

Call To Action

Alright Virginia, here's the deal:

WRVA is running a fundraiser for McGuire Veterans Hospital Fisher House;
Richard McCann wants to build a patio outback for the families who stay there;
Warrior Legacy Foundation and Cooking With the Troops wants to help.

What we need is food. (What we need is funding, which gets the food)

So, from now until the end of May, every quart of BBQ sauce ordered will generate 20 bucks for the Fisher House Project. Links are on the left and yes, WLF is a 501c3.

All orders will ship on 1 June and you will be invited to join us for the free lunch. Keep a copy of your receipt and bring it with you.

Personal Observation:
I remember when Mologne House at Walter Reed didn't have a patio, and now it does, and the difference it has made is remarkable. I would love to see something similar down here, but thats reaching a little far. The patio at Mologne House was a half million dollar project, if it was a dime.
It has built in grills, concrete pavers, three different levels, and a fireplace on the main patio. Class act. We use it when we do our cookouts, and I look forward to every event at Walter Reed.

Prove It.

Stories are spreading throughout the media, including Fox, that Tea Party members chanted the word, "N#gg#r!.

Prove it. The accusation of "racist" has been thrown at conservatives for so long that I say the Congressmen either misheard or lying. When you "cry wolf" too many times, no one cares anymore.

In today's world, at rallies, there are uncountable sources of video recordings.
We have evidence that it did not happen.

Post it on You Tube or any, ANY liberal site.

Email it to Doc Thompson at WRVA.

Contact me at my email: cargosquid@aol.com.

Prove it.

And we will join you in denouncing any racists. But we will not surrender to your agenda any longer.

Prove it.

I Wish They'd Make Up Their Minds

Is it "Healthcare Reform" or is it "Health Insurance Reform"?
Seems to me there is a huge difference between the two terms being used to describe HB 3200.

Healthcare Reform implies a change in the way we receive treatment when we visit a doctor or hospital for that treatment.

Health Insurance Reform implies that the government is either trying to manage a private sector industry or will initiate conditions that will govern the way a private company conducts its business.

None of which the government has any business doing, and which Congress has no authority to do anyway.

The other day our favorite local talk show host, Doc Thompson, had Bobby Scott VA-03 on his show. I was fortunate to hear most of that interview. Doc had him on the ropes from the beginning. Doc wanted to know under what authority Congress was acting to legislate healthcare on Americans. Scott was doing the "er" "um" "ahh" two step, until he finally said "The general welfare clause". Which we all know is actually in the Preamble to the Constitution.

I've said this before, and I'll continue to say it until we replace the current members of Congress with individuals who understand the basic concept of Constitutional law:

Neither Congress nor the White House has the authority to tell any American what to buy, when to buy it or how much we can spend on it.

This bunch of Marxist wannabes are so anti-capitalism its breathtaking.

Warrior Legacy Foundation at Liberty 101

If you watched Glenn Beck today, you had the opportunity to hear one of my heros, and someone who calls me friend.

Matt Burden is a former paratrooper, Army officer, Chairman of Warrior Legacy Foundation, owner of Blackfive.net, and the author of Blogs of War.

He is an amazing individual, which is why I do whatever I can to help him. I am honored to be associated with Warriors such as Matt. I am even more humbled that he knows who I am.

Richmond Tax Day Tea Party - Success!

UPDATE #2: I've moved this post to the top because the Great Americans who make up the WST-Richmond/Chester teams have stepped up and are doing the heavy-lifting.

Bravo Zulu!!!!!!!!

UPDATE: WELCOME to all of Theo's friends! Sit and stay a while. Click the UCV banner and have a look around.

The Richmond Tea Party coordinators and all of their hardworking help deserve a round of applause! The Party was a FANTASTIC success! Don't forget to hit their site and see what's next. Sign the Petition!

Expecting "several hundred" people, the attendance has been estimated at OVER 3000 persons! IN THE RAIN AND COLD! Kanawha Plaza was Filled! One Party coordinator was told by security that the police had to actually turn some away due to overcrowding, though this is unconfirmed.

Kudos to local channel 6, WTVR, for sticking with the Party throughout the day.
Video here and here.

NBC12, has video at the article. Click on the video next to the article. Wait for the 7 second commercial to finish.

Channel 8, WRIC, took video, but it does not seem to be working.

Arriving just before 5pm, I found hundreds of people braving the rain. I took advantage of the early arrival to snap a few shots.

Whole families braved the foul weather to stand up for their rights. Radical extremists were everywhere!

Dangerous radicals arrived every second! They were everywhere! EVERYWHERE I TELL YOU!

This DHS defined possible terrorist was standing tall in defense of his rights. God love ya! (I'm channeling Joe Biden.....get it?)

Even this young lady gets it:

And again, because she's just so darn cute.....

Signs were everywhere! I've never seen such radical, extreme messages! I don't think such messages have EVER BEFORE been presented to a government before.....oh, wait....

Do these messages seem radical and dangerous to you?

Well, this one might make a few of our supposed representatives go review the Founding documents...

Especially when found in conjunction with THOSE flags.....

Some messages are dangerous.....

Most reports from across the nation are reporting crowds of several hundred to several thousand. The national media have not covered these events except in minor or derogatory ways. One target of the protests is saying that this is "astroturf", that this movement is run by "corporate interests." Judge for yourself.

These next photos are a crowd shot in sequence looking from my left to my right. I am positioned to the front along the stage right edge of the crowd.

The speakers roused the crowd to cheers and shouts. "USA! USA! USA!" was a common cry. Obama was not really mentioned in either speeches, comments, or signs. The crowd emphasized the actions of Congress. Both parties were condemned for their actions for the past few years, not since the last election.

But the chant that had the most energy and feeling?

"VOTE THEM OUT! VOTE THEM OUT! VOTE THEM OUT!"

Are you listening Congress?

From the WST Richmond Team

Virginian Citizens and American Patriots -
From the entire "We Surround Them - Richmond" team, we thank you for attending, or expressing an interest in, your local WST Viewing Party on Friday the 13th. Y'all should take pride in being a part of a new, national awakening of those who have had ENOUGH!
Richmond is fast returning to the revolutionary roots of our Founding Fathers as we join forces in righteous indignation to take our country back.
United, we held eight local events with an estimated attendance of 800-1,000 True Sons and Daughters of Liberty. We can also take pride in knowing that Richmond received the most Views and Replies of any regional Meetup group in the nation.

***************************************************************************
A Final Note:
For those who feel at times that it is hopeless to take a stand we turn your attention to the nearly 200 brave defenders of the Alamo who fought an entire army to the last man and, in the process, bought precious time to ensure Texas' independence and freedom.

Alone, we can do little but when one hundred, one thousand or one million Americans unite as one and invest their hearts, their minds and their strength to any undertaking, can the results ever be in doubt and woe be unto them that stand in the way.

Already, the politicians are beating a path to our door. It is our duty to provide them with their marching orders and, when needed, to hold their feet to the fire.

Yours in service to our nation,
We Surround Them - Richmond

HR 45

With all due respect to Mr Van Cleave, HR 45 is a dangerous bill with deadly implications currently in process in a Democrat majority, Soros controlled Congress. They can and will pass any damn thing they want, anytime they want, and to quote Billy Jack, "There isn't thing one we can do about it."
