Is America Truly The Land Of The Free?

Is America Truly The Land Of The Free?
Many scholars believe our founding fathers envisioned America being the land of the free based off a very unique principle; free will. What this means is that men and women have the “free will” to choose based off their own morally driven social and cultural ideologies between right and wrong without any constraints. The oldest script depicting the truest and most pure sense of “free will” can be found in the Christian Bible. What is right for one person is not necessarily the same as what is right for another though, making the concept even more complex.

As long as you don't criticize a religion for being misogynistic, violent and barbaric you can pretty much do whatever you want.

Best Picture Ever

This picture was taken from the top of the Washington Monument.
Don't believe any crowd estimate less than 250,000. I believe there were 500,000 there.
There is an equal number of people on both sides of this picture and the lawn in front of the Washington Monument was full after 1200.

We Don't Need Continuity, We Need Reciprocity

If you listened to Doc today, he was asking for continuity in the manner in which the liberal left is dealing with the Ground Zero mosque.

That is a fair request, but I doubt the left will ever grant it.

I, on the other hand, want reciprocity. I want the practitioners of Islam to grant the same freedoms and rights we as Americans are obligated, according to the Most High Annointed One (may peace be upon him), to grant them under our Constitution.

Problem is: practitioners of Islam do not recognize any document other than the Koran. Islam is not just a religion, it is a form of government. Predominately muslim countries have no constitution. They have Islam and the Koran and culture police. They have no religous freedom. Christians and Jews are routinely persecuted and possession of a Bible in a muslim country could result in a death sentence.

Islam, as practiced today, cannot exist under our Constitution and our Bill of Rights, simply because the Koran is antithetical to our system of government, and while we are more than willing to allow anyone to worship anything, a religion which places women in a less than human standing cannot be allowed. Any system which discriminates against non-believers cannot function in our society, because we have the God given right to believe anything we want. We have the God-given right of free will and self-determination. Islam and the Koran do not recognize those rights.

As a Christian, I am directed by the Bible to tell others about Jesus and the way to salvation and Heaven. I am not obligated to do it. If I choose to do so, I am also directed to not cast my pearls before swine, or preach to dogs. Those are metaphors for non-believers. I am not directed to force those non-believers into salvation, nor am I directed to kill them for being non-believers. Thats the beauty of free will. The Koran directs followers of Islam to convert those they can and kill the ones they can't.

A religion which directs its followers to kill is not a religion, its a cult. Just like Charles Manson or Jim Jones.

Crazy wackjobs.

Biblical Prophesy in the News

Temple Institute wants to Offer Biblical Passover Sacrifice

(IsraelNN.com) The Temple Mount Institute has filed suit in its fight for the right to sacrifice a sheep on the Temple Mount prior to Passover, as commanded in the Torah.

"The command to perform a Paschal [Passover] sacrifice is a positive commandment; the punishment for failing to perform it is 'karet' [lit. -- 'cut off', meaning that a person is cut off from the Nation of Israel], and it can be performed only on the day before Passover and only on the Temple Mount,” the organization explained in a petition to the Supreme Court. Fighting the group's request are the Israel Police, who argue that the sacrifice would lead to Muslim riots and thus threaten public safety.

Jews have the right to offer animal sacrifices on the Temple Mount under Israeli law, the organization claimed. Israelis are guaranteed the right to freedom of worship, and Israel prides itself in allowing members of all faiths to access their holy sites.

In previous years, the court has ruled that the right to freedom of worship is outweighed by the consideration of public safety, and has forbidden the Paschal sacrifice.

Watching this one closely. I think I'm ready for the End of Days. Are you?

On another note, imagine police telling Muslims they couldn't do the call to prayer due to issues of public safety. We give Muslims a free pass on Islam because we have freedom of religion and we don't want to "offend" them, yet no other religion gets the same treatment.

Does God Exist?

I'd rather live my life believing God exists and find out I was wrong after I die, than live as if there was no God and find out I was wrong after I die.

From an email I received a few days ago.
