We Never Like These Posts

With a mixture of sadness and gratitude, we have to report the loss of a Virginia son in Afghanistan.

His Dad, retired 1Sgt Aaron Ozbat, wrote this in the email notification he sent out this morning:

"Captain Jesse Aaron Ozbat, who is from Prince George County, was killed in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan when enemy forces attacked his unit with an IED. CPT Ozbat was killed in Afghanistan on 20 May 2012. Words can not describe all the emotions our family feels. He was a Man of Honor and Integrity. He was 28 years old. He graduated from Prince George High School in 2002 and from Virginia State University in 2006. He was the kind of Man you would want your daughter to marry."

We share your grief and sorrow, Top. We are lucky we have such men willing to stand the fence line and be the sheepdogs guarding the flock. Your loss is our loss.

Readers and friends,
I know this is short notice, but if you could find time in your day on Saturday to help us line the route between the Memorial Chapel on Fort Lee to Blandford Cemetery where Jesse will be laid to rest, it would show his family that his death did not go unnoticed and that his sacrifice - and theirs - is appreciated.

You will only need to be in place until the procession passes. The route will start at Memorial Chapel on Fort Lee at approximately 11:00 a.m. (Funeral is at 10:00 for anyone who would like to attend)

It will proceed through Fort Lee exiting through the Mahone Gate on Hickory Hill Road. From Hickory Hill Rd, it will turn right onto Route 460 West

From 460 West the route will bear right onto Winfield Road Stay straight on Winfield until the stop sign

Turn right at Crater Road Follow to Blandford Cemetery on the right

You may gather at any of these locations to show your support. If you wish to attend the service, the Memorial Chapel is located at 1901 Sisisky Blvd on Fort Lee. Please be prepared to show ID at the gate.

I Don't Really Support Allen, I Enjoy Twisting Timmy

Where Does Tim Kaine Stand?
-- Former DNC Chairman has quite a history of hedging his bets on issues that could hurt him --

In case you missed it over sleepy Memorial Day Weekend - Friday Tim Kaine declared that not saying anything is tantamount to being on the wrong side of an issue.
In fact, not saying anything is tantamount to being on the wrong side of an issue, according to Kaine...
Tim Kaine: "If you decline to state your position, I've got a pretty good idea what your position is, and that's the wrong position for women and the wrong position for Virginia." (Ben Pershing, "Democrats Pounce As Allen Won't Take Position On Pay Discrimination Bill," The Washington Post's Virginia Politics, 5/25/12)
I Guess That Clears Up Where Kaine Stands on A Few Issues Important to Virginians...
HE IS FOR THE EPA CARBON DIOXIDE MANDATE THAT WOULD KILL THOUSANDS OF VIRGINIA JOBS:
HEADLINE: "Tim Kaine Takes No Firm Stand On EPA Carbon Pollution Standard." (Hank Hayes, "Kaine Takes No Firm Stand On EPA Carbon Pollution Standard," Kingsport Times-News, 4/5/12)
  • "Virginia U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine took no firm stand Thursday for or against a proposed new Environmental Protection Agency carbon pollution standard for future power plants." (Hank Hayes, "Kaine Takes No Firm Stand On EPA Carbon Pollution Standard," Kingsport Times-News, 4/5/12)
AGAINST A BALANCED BUDGET AMENDMENT THAT WOULD HELP REIN IN WASHINGTON's OVERSPENDING:
Kaine Said He Was For A Balanced Budget Amendment, But Could Say What It Would Look Like. "Asked his position on the balanced budget amendment, Kaine said: 'I'm for balanced budgets and I could even entertain a balanced-budget amendment, but the one that's on the table right now, once you get past the title, it's a bad thing.'" (Ben Pershing, "Kaine Predicts Short-Term Debt Deal, Hits Allen On Spending," The Washington Post's Virginia Politics, 7/14/11)
Later, Kaine Inferred A Balanced Budget Amendment Wasn't Necessary. "Kaine said he could vote for a balanced budget amendment, but said the problem with balancing the budget remains with the Congress. 'Remember we had balanced budgets 10 or 11 years ago years ago. The problem isn't the Constitution. The problem is having the backbone to make tough decisions,' he said." (Keith Walker, "Taxes, Transportation Topics At Kaine Roundtable In Manassas," News & Messenger [Manassas, Virginia], 2/23/12)
HE WON'T STAND UP FOR VIRGINIA'S RIGHT-TO -WORK LAWS:
Kaine Refused To Comment On The NLRB Lawsuit Until After President Obama Did. "On the same day President Obama was asked about the National Labor Relations Board's lawsuit against Boeing, his close friend and political ally, former Virginia governor Timothy M. Kaine (D), also weighed in for the first time on the controversial dispute." (Ben Pershing, "As GOP Pounces, Kaine Weighs In On Boeing Labor Dispute," The Washington Post's Virginia Politics, 6/29/11)
IT TOOK MONTHS BUT KAINE PROVED HIS THEORY RIGHT... AFTER BEING SILENT HE FOLLOWED THE PRESIDENT AND REJECTED THE KEYSTONE PIPELINE:
Headline: "Anyone Surprised? Anyone? At All? - Kaine Backs Obama On Keystone, Both Dems Hit By Allen."("Anyone Surprised? Anyone? At All?" National Journal Hotline, 1/19/12)
Kaine Echoed Obama On Keystone Decision. "But Kaine's campaign issued a statement of its own Wednesday afternoon, largely echoing the Obama administration's position - and assigning some blame to the GOP for the whole controversy." (Ben Pershing, "Keystone Decision Ripples In Kaine-Allen Race," The Washington Post, 1/18/12)

POTUS Bitch Slaps America

Bitch slapped and spit in our faces. Giving the Medal of Freedom to an avowed Marxist is a shot across the bow, a bitch slap, spitting on the graves of those who actually earned the honor and he knows it. It was a deliberate slight, a calculated move to show his minions where he stands. He is a charlatan. He is a Marxist. He will destroy this country if given the chance. He thinks he has it now, but he's wrong.

Jewish Congregations Rebel Against Obama in Florida

For our Jewish friends, you know in your heart this man is not your friend. He does not have Israel's best interests at heart. He will not stand with you when the time comes. He will betray you. He will betray us.

Standing with Israel is obdience to God's Word.

Wherever we stand, we stand with Israel.

Jewish Congregations Rebel Against Obama in Florida
Earlier this month, UN Ambassador Susan Rice--a key mouthpiece for the Obama campaign in 2008--appeared at B'nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton, Florida. Several dozen members of the community staged a silent walkout; many more who were suspected of planning a protest were barred from entering. The spectacle of Jews being told they could not enter a synagogue--or threatened with trespassing for having entered one--was recorded and made its way onto YouTube, where activists raised outrage against the synagogue and its rabbi.

CNN Contributor Erickson and Family Targeted in Latest 'SWATing' Attack

This is how communist/totalitarian regimes control the masses. They control the flow of information by intimidating the ones disseminating it. If intimidation doesn't work, the next step is physical violence. When espousing conservative values becomes a justification for physical attacks, and nothing is done about it, we have lost America.

CNN Contributor Erickson and Family Targeted in Latest 'SWATing' Attack
This is the first part of a two part post. What was done to Erick is most assurdely illegal; it created a condition and situation where LEO's were forced to respond to a fake 911 call and removed these LEO's from answering a real 911 call which could have resulted in unneccessary injury had they been available. The only reason this was done to Erick is because he is a conservative and writes and says what the conservative segment of America wants to hear.

PART DEUX:
Obama's Justice Department Could Stop 'SWATting'
The high-tech Brownshirts on the left have now “SWATted” Eric Erickson. Two things are certain. First, the United States Department of Justice could stop this behavior quickly because it almost certainly constitutes a federal crime. And second, the use of term “Brownshirt” to describe this swatting gang has not been used more appropriately since the Strumabteilung made their debut in 1921.
It is almost certain that the people engaging in swatting are violating federal law. Consider 18 U.S.C. 241.
If two or more persons conspire to injure, oppress, threaten, or intimidate any person in any State, Territory, Commonwealth, Possession, or District in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege secured to him by the Constitution or laws of the United States, or because of his having so exercised the same; They shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
The only reason Erickson and the others were attacked was because of their exercise of First Amendment rights. The only reason they were targeted is because of their conservative political speech, speech with which the swatters disagreed.

Brett Kimberlin and the Future of Blogbursts

Brett Kimberlin and the Future of Blogbursts

The Blaze performed yeoman’s work, creating a digestible summary about this guy’s “career” that I’ll whittle down even further:
  • Brett Kimberlin is the convicted “Speedway Bomber” who terrorized Indiana in 1978. One of those injured by Kimberlin’s bombs later committed suicide.
  • He served 17 years of a 50 year sentence, passing the time becoming a jailhouse lawyer.
  • Upon release, Kimberlin started the non-profit Justice Through Music. It’s been funded by George Soros’ Tides Foundation since 2005.
  • Kimberlin’s other organization, Velvet Revolution, supports the Occupy movement.
  • He has filed over 100 lawsuits against individuals, left and right, who’ve written about him, or simply annoyed him; he “once sued a pornographer for selling him pornography that was not provocative enough.”
  • He attempts to get opponents fired and has, in one instance, succeeded.
  • Kimberlin or an associate allegedly filed a hoax police report that sent the SWAT team to the home of Los Angeles County Assistant District Attorney Patrick Frey (a.k.a. blogger “Patterico”).
  • Literally while I was typing this list, Erick Erickson of RedState was also being SWAT-ed — the victim of another spoofed “911″ call.
  • Most recently, his threats forced reporter R.S. McCain to relocate his family.
Now, there IS a whole book out about Brett Kimberlin, but it came out back in 1996. Other than that, the mainstream media hasn’t reported much on this bizarre saga.
(Liberal cartoonist Garry Trudeau was keen on raising Kimberlin’s profile when doing so made former Vice President Dan Quayle look like a pothead. These days? Not so much.)
It’s been left to alternative media to bring this story to light. After all, Kimberlin is targeting other bloggers. We have a duty to help defend our own, when they’re being harassed simply for asking questions and reporting the facts.

House to examine plan for United Nations to regulate the Internet - The Hill's Hillicon Valley

Oh yeah. Lets turn it over to the Untied Nations cause they always have what's best for America front and center.
In an op-ed earlier this year in The Wall Street Journal, [Robert] McDowell warned that “a top-down, centralized, international regulatory overlay is antithetical to the architecture of the Net.”

“Productivity, rising living standards and the spread of freedom everywhere, but especially in the developing world, would grind to a halt as engineering and business decisions become politically paralyzed within a global regulatory body,” McDowell wrote.
He said some governments feel excluded from Internet policymaking and want more control over the process.
“And let's face it, strong-arm regimes are threatened by popular outcries for political freedom that are empowered by unfettered Internet connectivity,” McDowell wrote.McDowell warned that “a top-down, centralized, international regulatory overlay is antithetical to the architecture of the Net.”

Red State Editor-in-Chief Claims Family Was Subject to Possible Kimberlin-Related Attack Sunday

Red State Editor-in-Chief Claims Family Was Subject to Possible Kimberlin-Related Attack Sunday
On May 25, bloggers and commentators of every size got together to report on Brett Kimberlin, the Soros-funded Indiana Speedway Bomber and alleged child molester, convicted perjurer, and forger, whose new job is seemingly to terrorize bloggers into silence.
The Blaze reported:
The victims — Patrick Frey who blogs under the moniker, “Patterico,” and Aaron Walker, whose blog is titled, “Allergic to Bull,” along with several others – have been subject to death threats (veiled and not veiled), blackmail, extortion, numerous frivolous lawsuits, cyber-attacks of email and social networking accounts, and become the target of smear campaigns that have ultimately led to at least one couple losing their jobs.
In Frey’s instance, a SWAT team even descended on his house after a disingenuous call was placed to law enforcement making it sound as though Frey had confessed to murdering his wife. While the real caller has yet to be identified, Frey, who serves as the deputy district attorney for Los Angeles County, strongly suspects it was placed by Kimberlin-proxy Ron Brynaert.
[...]
Both men fear for the safety of themselves and their families and with just cause, considering some who have crossed Kimberlin before have turned up dead. It is also important to note that both men are respected attorneys and members of their community — hardly the type who would sensationalize a story to stir up controversy.

Another Hero Lost

Army Spc. Christian J. Romig,(seen in the center, facing away) 1st Squadron, 61st Cavalry Regiment, Task Force Panther, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division, was killed on Wednesday when an IED destroyed his vehicle.

He was the nephew of a sister-in-law. I had the misfortune not to actually know him, but received word yesterday.

He received the Combat Action Badge just last month from Sec. of Defense Gates while at Forward Operating Base Connolly in eastern Afghanistan.

God Speed.

And God bless his family.

Meet Soros-Funded Domestic Terrorist Brett Kimberlin Whose ‘Job’ Is Terrorizing Bloggers Into Silence

Meet Soros-Funded Domestic Terrorist Brett Kimberlin Whose ‘Job’ Is Terrorizing Bloggers Into Silence

  • Drug dealer, alleged child molester, and convicted perjurer, forger and Indiana Speedway Bomber (who is also believed to have played a role in the assassination of a grandmother), Brett Kimberlin spent 17 years in prison before his ultimate re-absorption into American society

  • He started a non-profit dubbed “Justice Through Music (JTM)” that has, since at least 2005, been funded by George Soros’ Tides Foundation and Barbara Streisand among other leftists

  • Along with his associate, Kimberlin also started an organization called “Velvet Revolution” that supports the Occupy movement

  • JTM’s goal is to use music to foster “social justice” and fight Republican “voter fraud” (like the kind George Bush allegedly used to “steal” the Florida election)

  • Any blogger — conservative and liberal alike — who has written the truth about Kimberlin has come under vicious attack by either Kimberlin or his minions, suffering death threats (veiled and unveiled), multiple lawsuits, loss of jobs and worse

  • He has filed over 100 frivolous lawsuits against anything that isn’t nailed down and somehow is being allowed to continue unchecked

  • This story has never been reported on in the mainstream media

    BLACKFIVE: Free Speech Blogburst

We here at UCV count the members of Blackfive as our peers and friends. We stand firmly with them at all times. The freedom to say what you think is one of the cornerstones of our democratic republic. Anyone who does not agree with what you say has the right to say he disagress and express his opinion. Threats of bodily harm and false reports to police is not protected speech, it is intimidation. Its also justification for pre-emptive action.

    BLACKFIVE: Free Speech Blogburst
This is a Team Blackfive post.
There is no one at this blog who has not sworn to defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign or domestic. Several have literally provided blood, sweat, and tears to that oath, and to protect rights inlcuding the right to free speech. Several here have been threatened and/or dealt with security issues related to upholding that oath and participation at this site.

Today, several bloggers face threats, threats that have caused them to take security measures up to and including moving to keep their families safe. You need to learn about Brett Kemberlin, what he was convicted of doing, what is being done, and who is funding it. The best places to start are at Michelle Malkin, Instapundit, Ace, Day-by-Day, and Jawa.

Team Blackfive stands in solidarity with them, and is glad to join the blogburst to shine some light where it is clearly needed. Free speech is never truly free -- it is only free because good people stand up no matter the threat to make it so. Team Blackfive stands, do you?

New Va. voter-ID law makes it ‘tough to cheat’

New Va. voter-ID law makes it ‘tough to cheat’
Currently, if voters do not have identification with them at the polls, they can simply sign a sworn affidavit saying they are who they say they are.

Under the law as passed, such a vote will be counted provisionally, and the voter will have to provide proper identification to their local electoral board within three days after the election for his or her vote to count.
    Someone was paying attention.

Our buds at the Rhino Den are doing the work the VLWM won't do. I count former SSG Bellavia among my friends. He will do the work of the country in Congress in a manner consistent with conservative values and the Founding Princples and with the tireless dedication and selflessness he exhibited in Iraq.
He has been tested under fire. He has paid his dues. He wants to continue to serve his country and his home. They should let him.

    I Love A Parade

"Another day in Paradise. Every meal's a banquet, every paycheck's a fortune and every formation is a parade"

Next Saturday, 19 May in Richmond VA there is going to be a parade to welcome home the Iraq and Afghan vets and salute them for their service and sacrifice. I realize we still have troops downrange, and they are likely to stay awhile yet, but its time to do this thing. We tried a few years back, couldn't get anything going. Hard to get funding sometimes. But this time, with the help of the Welcome Home Foundation, the Richmond Times Dispatch, and hundreds of volunteers, the parade is going to happen and we are going to pawwwwtay.

In conjunction with the parade, we are going to set up a Veterans Resource Village on the grounds of The Carillon, Richmond's WWI Memorial. There will be Veterans Service Organizations, (including our very own Cooking with the Troops), Wounded Warrior Project will be on hand, veterans agencies from the state and federal government and a few companies and groups looking to hire veterans, including Wal-Mart Transportation, the largest employer of veterans in the country, and Dupont Spruance Plant will be on hand to talk to vets about oppportunities working for the maker of Kevlar and Nomex, two products our military depend upon every day to keep them safe.

McGuire,Woods LLP will have some legal foks on hand to assist vets with any legal issues they may have, and they stepped up big time for this one.  Capitol One will have a booth to talk to vets about financial issues and do some recruiting. (full disclosure-both of my children work for CapOne, and you could do a lot worse. They love it.) Dept of Motor Vehicles will have their mobile outreach van onsite, along the Veterans Outreach Center van, AUSA Mobile Blood Donation van, and the Hunter-Holmes McGuire VA Hospital van.

I have to give props to a lot of folks who have donated to this effort. City Ice Co, down in Chester, VA is giving us ice to keep the water cold we got from Virginia Artesian Water, Co over in Mechanicsville, VA. Both of these local companies support our military and veterans and we need to return the favor. Thank you Mark from City Ice and Nancy from VA Artesian. Haley Buick GMC is providing tents and transporting veterans for us. Commonwealth Events and PartyPerfect worked with us on getting the rest of the tents and the tables and chairs.

This is just a partial list of the folks who have stepped up for our veterans and we thank them. Its never too late to donate of course, and we will accept most anyone who wants to volunteer to help.

Here are a couple of links that have been up recently:

Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and its Shameless Cover-Up
IMAGINE A GOVERNMENT agency designed for the specific purpose of investigating and preventing the unlawful use, manufacture, and possession of firearms. Now imagine this agency engaging in an operation that not only goes against that purpose, but actually seeks to accomplish the opposite, by actively encouraging the sale of firearms to people whose ties to organized crime and gun violence are well known– and that this operation involves sending firearms across an international border into a country that this agency, and the government of which it is a part, purposely failed to warn, inform, or request permission from.

That, in a nutshell, is the Obama administration’s “Fast and Furious” program, whose development, bloody results, and ongoing cover–up are comprehensively documented and presented by investigative journalist Katie Pavlich in her new book, Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and its Shameless Cover–Up (Regnery, 2012). In the book’s ten chapters and 222 pages (of which nearly sixty are appendices and meticulously cited endnotes), Pavlich makes the case that the Obama administration’s “gunwalking” operation “wasn’t a ‘botched’ program, [but] a calculated and lethal decision” by the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, with the full knowledge and assent of the Departments of Justice and of Homeland Security, “to purposely place thousands of guns into the hands of ruthless criminals” (p. 162).
Please click here for the rest of the post.

Obama’s energy policies are a key vulnerability in the November elections, which has his staff scrambling to make it look like he’s actually done something to support domestic energy production. Since neither he nor anyone in his Administration knows the first thing about oil and gas, that can lead to some pretty ridiculous claims.

I know many RedState readers are big fans of Jim DeMint, so in my coverage of the Retransmission Consent debate, I’ve focused on him. However he’s not the whole story. This Congress, due to the TEA party-driven Republican majority, it’s been the House where our major regulatory reform successes have happened. And it’s Steve Scalise, Republican of Louisiana and Bobby Jindal’s successor in the House, who is the champion of the Next Generation TV Marketplace Act there.
However I know that there have been skeptics on this reform, so I was fortunately able to snag some of the Congressman’s time, and ask him a few questions about the proposed reforms.

Florida investigation reveals 180,000 non-citizens may be registered to vote
Florida officials have discovered that 180,000 registered voters may be non-citizens.
A CBS4/Miami Herald analysis of information supplied by Miami-Dade shows a large number of the potential non-citizens voters cast ballots in the past — including the 2000 election, when the presidency was decided by just over 500 votes.

According to Deputy Supervisor of Elections Christina White, there are a “lot of non-citizens on our registration rolls.”

Florida’s Division of Elections is checking the citizenship of voters by comparing drivers license records, which show whether a licensed driver is also a U.S. citizen.

2012 Milblog Conference New Friends & 3 Degrees of Separation

A memorable weekend at the 7th Annual Milblog Conference. Congratulations to all of this years winners of the coveted Milbloggie Award. onemarinesview.com won the Best Marine Corps blog, and as the Major is busy with "force protection" and could not be there, he tasked his default XO to pick the award up for him. I now have two. Both of them his. He swears he'll come by and get them "soon". I was a Marine once for a bit, "soon" does not mean the same thing in civilian as it does in devildog.

I was very pleasantly surprised when my counter-part from the San Diego Chapter of Protest Warrior, the immutable Cmdr Smash appeared on my six. I hadn't seen the Cmdr since he TDY'd to DC in 2007 after pwng the moonbats in Balboa Park, much in the same way I pwnd Susie Q and SEIU at Walter Reed in January of 2006. Smash ran a con on the moonbats in Deigo that was a thing of beauty. He had 'em walking down the road, kicking beer cans and mumbling.

We raised several beers (and I forgot how many Margaritas) to good times, lost comrades and future efforts. I had to give him a ride home and passed on to him a quart of my world-famous, eat from the jar with a spoon BBQ Sauce.

I have to give some props to the young lady from 20th Century Fox and "Act of Valor" for the very generous donation of some books and hats to use at the upcoming fundrasiser on Tuesday at O'Tooles. These are some damn fine hats. Very well made heavy polished cotton. The books are the paperback edition of the story of "Act of Valor". We had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Scott Waugh, the director of "Act of Valor". Great person.

If you are one of those who has not seen "Act of Valor" yet, WTF are you waitin on? The DVD and Blu-Ray will be out in a week or two. Buy a copy. You won't regret spending the money, or the time.

The usual suspects were on hand, and more than a few were conspicuous in their absence.

Neptunis Lex was honored as he deserved to be.
Michael Yon was douched as he deserves to be.

One Marine's View: American Homecomings-Something America needs to know about

One Marine's View: American Homecomings-Something America needs to know about
So many warriors that are unknown heroes return home and many forget they even left or even know that went in the first place. Hopefully the below series will remind America and especially the younger generation that like those that went before us, there is a part of America that went to war, as many Americans went to the mall.

“American Homecomings,” is a project from Digital First Media that will chronicle the lives of returning veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and offer vets news, information about support services and a place to share their photos and memories. Eight soldiers from around the country have agreed to let reporters and photographers follow them for a year, shedding light on the challenges they face upon returning from the battlefield. Some have incurred brutal injuries or psychological scars, some have broken marriages, some have no jobs and some very intact lives. A new chapter in a veteran’s life will be posted here every Monday

LCol Ralph Peters doing what he does best: explaning the obvious to the ignorant.

The Left’s Seven Tragic Terror Lies
If they did not put our troops, our citizens and our country at risk, the Left's fantastic lies about terror and terrorists would be hilarious. The Left's self-righteous nonsense in this sphere has no grounding in empirical or historical reality, but, then, reality has long been a greater threat to the Left than Islamist fanatics (the last thing any Leftie wants to do is to face the vast human wastage generated by the addictive, enervating and morally debilitating hook-the-poor social programs of the last five decades).
So, when it comes to addressing the real and deadly terrorist threat, the American left responds in the best Marxist-Leninist-Maoist-Chavista and community-organizer traditions: When the facts aren't palatable, make up new "facts." And political correctness has worked its poisonous tentacles so deeply into the American body politic that not even our generals challenge the ludicrous claims the Left hurls at us in its neo-Bolshevik bullying mode of shouting down every last unwelcome truth.

BLACKFIVE: Friday Freefly- Troops as political props

I don't like it; UJ don't like it; no one likes it except the dhimmicrats. I guess when you don't have a record of anything but steadily rising unemployment, gas prices through the roof, and numerous attempts to violate the Bill of Rights, you start grasping at anything.

Top Fed Official: 'It's Going To Take Several Years' Before Jobs Return

Top Fed Official: 'It's Going To Take Several Years' Before Jobs Return

Lets keep thinking them happy thoughts.
Better still, let's make that statement false by December.

"Presently, a record 87,897,000 Americans are not in the labor force."

That condition can be easily corrected in less than 6 weeks.
Open the wells, grab the rigs and start punching holes where the oil is.
Start laying pipe and re-opening and upfitting refineries.
Get the tankers fired up and tell the shiiteheads in the ME to go pound sand, the price of a barrel of oil is now the same as a bushel of corn or wheat.

    File This Under OMG!!! WTF?!?!?

OK, this is just freaking wierd. The depth is damn-near a mile deep. When I start seeing things I've never seen before, I just refer back to Jesus' statement to His diciples when asked about His return: "All that is hidden is made known." If you fail to grasp the signifigance and un-ambiguousness of those 7 words, you are in trouble. We are on the downhill side. This is prophesey come to pass.

Now I don't have a clue what this is. It appears to be organic in nature, but unless I can put my hands on it, I can't say for sure. The accompanying article says it may be a huge jelly fish.

Elizabeth Warren Ancestor Rounded Up Cherokees For Trail of Tears

Elizabeth Warren Ancestor Rounded Up Cherokees For Trail of Tears
After researching her story, it is obvious that her "family lore" is just fiction. As I pointed out in my article here on Sunday, no evidence supports this claim. O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford had no Cherokee heritage, was listed as "white" in the Census of 1860, and was most likely half Swedish and half English, Scottish, or German, or some combination thereof. (Note, the actual 1894 marriage license makes no claim of Cherokee ancestry
But the most stunning discovery about the life of O.C. Sarah Smith Crawford is that her husband, Ms. Warren's great-great-great grandfather, was apparently a member of the Tennessee Militia who rounded up Cherokees from their family homes in the Southeastern United States and herded them into government-built stockades in what was then called Ross’s Landing (now Chattanooga), Tennessee—the point of origin for the horrific Trail of Tears, which began in January, 1837.
Full disclosure: I am Cherokee. More than 1/8. Proven.

Liberals use minorities to further their own agenda until they're no longer needed, then they kick them to the curb and look for the next victim to use. This is just another example of a shameless academic elitist using the image of the Native-American to further her own career. You really think she gives a rats butt about any tribe in this country?

    Soledad O'Brien's Fake Navy Seal

    Soledad O'Brien's Fake Navy Seal
CNN's Soledad O'Brien appears to have been one of the many who not only accepted, but promoted Brian Leonard Creekmur's fake credentials as a Navy SEAL, according to an investigation by WTKR News Channel 3, the local CBS affiliate in the Hampton Roads metro area in Virginia.
He should now be required to undertake the training for the position he claims he holds. Run him til he drops from exhaustion, tie a rope around his ankles and drag him the rest of the way.

Or better yet, re-activate the person he impersonated, making him legally obligated to return to duty, and then send his ass to Yemen on a mission. Alone.

Hey, he's a Navy SEAL. He can handle it.

    Remember the USS Cole

I have that on my bumper. I was one of the top 20 to sign the petition to get "Remember the USS Cole" Virginia license plates. I happened to be wearing my Dress Whites when I signed it.

And now one of the bastards that was responsible is dead.

He is reported to have been killed by an airstrike by FOX.

Fahd al-Quso was hit by a missile as he stepped out of his vehicle, along with another Al Qaeda operative in the southern Shabwa province, Yemeni military officials said. They were speaking on condition of anonymity in accordance with military regulations.

The airstrike came as the U.S. and Yemen cooperate in a battle against Al Qaeda in southern Yemen.

Never forget. Never forgive. Find them all. Kill them.

Cleveland Bridge Bombing Suspect Confirmed as Occupier

Cleveland Bridge Bombing Suspect Confirmed as Occupier

Is anyone really surprised at this? They're ANARCHISTS!!! They don't believe in law or government.

They believe in the propensity of all humans to respect personal property and a "live and let live" philosophy. Of course, they fail to practice that philosophy when dealing with anyone but one of their own.

Personally, I prefer having a few police and military around, just in case there's a jerk who decides he wants what I have; be it my property, my life or my wife.

New Mailer From Young Guns Network Backs Lugar, Touts Ethanol

New Mailer From Young Guns Network Backs Lugar, Touts Ethanol

Are you stupid, Mr Cantor? Is it time for you to consider another line of work?

Eric Cantor needs to re-think his positions on what is and isn't good for American families. Ethanol, if it comes from something other than our food source, is good, as long as you know that it will eventually destroy all the rubber and neoprene gasket material in your vehicles fuel delivery system.

Supporting the re-election of someone who does not have the support of the people is just stupid.  Lugar's time has passed. New people are needed. Mourdock has the backing of the grassroots conservative movement in Indiana. Cantor needs to get with the conservative grassroots program and leave the "Old-Boy" network of establishment politicians.
The Young Guns (YG) Network, linked to House Majority leader Eric Cantor, has dropped another mailer in Indiana in support of 36-year incumbent, 80-year-old Senator Richard Lugar, currently down by ten points against Tea Party-backed Richard Mourdock, according to a recent poll.

As with a previous mail drop, this one appears to be appealing to Democrats by pointing out the open nature of the Indiana GOP primary, while encouraging everyone to vote on May 8th.

The piece touts Lugar's strong support for ethanol, which inflates gas prices, while being popular in farming states. It also cites Lugar's environmental stewardship and calls Mourdock "extreme." A copy of the mail item below.

The mailer is paid for by the Energy and Policy Network, an ideas group of the YG Network, as was a previous mailer Breitbart News reported on here.

Virginian-Pilot reporters attacked by mob. Who knew? Why was it not covered? If it were a white-on-black crime, would they have handled it "as if it involved any two people in our community.?"
