It Is Now Time For America To Find the Resolve To Defeat Islamo-fascism

Anything less will be unacceptable. Anything less will be a victory for the extremists, for they will most-assuredly never stop killing infidels, and they will continue to teach their children that dying for Allah is a most noble death if you kill an infidel or non-believer in the process.

Their goal is nothing less than world-domination. They recognize no other religion. No other religion will be allowed to exist. Non-Muslims who are allowed to live will cease to be human in the eyes of the Caliph. They will be less than cattle.

Fredom of religion does not exist in Islam. There is only one religion and Isalm is it. All others are devil-worship. Free will cannot exist under Islam. Free will implies that a person is free to make a decision. Islam does not allow that, as practiced by extremists. Convert or die, or in some cases, convert and then they will kill you, because they are safe in the knowledge that you might be welcomed into the arms of Allah.

The system of government which allows us the choice to believe or not believe, cannot exist within the framework of Islam. Isalm must prevail over the government and the laws of men.

Isalm is one of those oppressive, reppressive forms of religion our Founding Fathers left England because of.

I'm Confused

The Anti-Christian Lawyers Union (ACLU) goes after people they claim are violating the 1st Amendment by praying in school.

How do private citizens violate the 1st Amendment? What are they guilty of?

The 1st Amendment says: "Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of a religion nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."

Which part of that Amendment are private citizens violating?
They aren't Congress.
The 1st amendment applies to CONGRESS, not citizens.

Just wondering

Congress Lacks the Constitutional Authority

to force free Americans to purchase anything they don't want, and the Constitution specifically prohibits Congress from puntitive retribution on those who choose not to.

The Constitution does not give Congress the auhority to impose healthcare mandates on free citizens or the power to punish those who do not comply by imposing fees or fines.

But since they've never a let a little thing like the Constitution stand in the way of their marxist engineering or socialist agenda, and its never stopped them before, it's time to let them know we're not going to stand for an imperialist regime imposing their mandates and ignoring the Supreme Law of the Land.

If The Chosen One, may peace be upon him, and his band of useful idiots in Congress wants to force me to buy coverage I don't want, or penalizes me for not buying it, or taxes my current benefits and does not allow for a full deduction of the associated costs, I will cancel my current healthcare policy and stand in my front yard and wait for the brownshirts from ACORN or the Civilian Defense Force to come get me.

Thats when maximum fun begins.

Congress Teams Up With OPEC to Defeat Middle Class America

from Townhall.com

Walter Williams
Despite Congress' periodic hauling of weak-kneed oil executives before their committees to charge them with collusion and price-gouging, subsequent federal investigations turn up no evidence to support the charges. Right now oil company executives are getting a bit of a respite as Congress has turned its attention to crude oil speculators, blaming them for high oil prices and calling for tighter control over commodity futures trading.
Congressional attacks on speculation do not alter the oil market's fundamental demand and supply conditions. What would lower the long-term price of oil is for Congress to permit exploration for the estimated billions upon billions of barrels of oil domestically available, not to mention the estimated trillion-plus barrels of shale oil in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. Some politicians pooh-pooh calls for drilling, saying it would take five or 10 years to recover the oil. I guarantee you we would begin to see a reduction in today's prices even if it took five to 10 years for us to get the first barrel. Put yourself in the place of an OPEC member knowing there would be a greater supply of U.S. oil five or 10 years, hence maybe driving oil prices lower to say $40 a barrel. What will you want to do now while oil is $130 a barrel? You would want to sell as much oil now and OPEC's collective efforts to do so would put downward pressures on current oil prices. Right now the U.S. Congress is OPEC's staunchest ally.

$4.00 a Gallon Who's To Blame?

Update: To all you nice people that are stopping by, click the UCV banner and have a look around! Y'all come back now, y'hear.....
Cargosquid

UPDATE: Here's a perfect example of this obstructionism: Toying with the energy companies.

A huge hat tip to a Brother Marine in Florida for his email this morning.

Thanks to the enivironmentalist lobby and its influence on Democratic legislators in Congress, the U.S. has, for decades, been prohibited from drilling for oil in places that we know contain billions of barrells of proven reserves.
Check out this map:

All of the "NO" zones are places where the U.S., thanks to the Democratic Party, is prohibited from drilling for oil. But wait . it gets better.

***China, Cuba, Canada and others continue to drill off our shores where US companies are not allowed to drill because of Democratic policies!
Yes, that's right . China and Cuba are actively exploring oil fields 50 miles from Key West, Florida while U.S. companies are barred from working in this area because of U.S. policy ... So, instead of allowing the most environmentally responsible companies to operate there and increase our domestic supply, China, who has a dismal environmental record, is preparing to suck our close, lucrative oil reserves dry.

Unbelievable.

Investor's Business Daily recently explained how irresponsible the Democrats have been on the energy crisis. They lay into what they consider to be the worst Congress ever for .....

~ Failing to allow drilling in ANWR. We have, as President Bush noted, estimated capacity of a million barrels of oil a day from this source alone -- enough for 27 million gallons of gas and diesel. But Congress won't touch it, fearful of the clout of the environmental lobby. As a result, you pay through the nose at the pump so your representative can raise campaign cash.

~ Refusing to build new refineries. The U.S. hasn't built one since 1976, yet the EPA requires at least 15 unique 'boutique' fuel blends that can be sold in different areas around the nation. This means that U.S. refinery capacity is stretched so tight that even the slightest problem at a refinery causes enormous supply problems and price spikes. Congress has done nothing about this.

~ Turning its back on nuclear power. It's safe and, with advances in nuclear reprocessing technology, waste problems have been minimized. Still, we have just 104 nuclear plants -- the same as a decade ago -- producing just 19% of our total energy. (Many European nations produce 40% or more of their power with nuclear.) Granted, nuclear power plants are expensive -- about $3 billion each. But they produce energy at $1.72/kilowatt-hour vs. $2.37 for coal and $6.35 for natural gas.

~ Raising taxes on energy producers. This is where a basic understanding of economics would help: Higher taxes and needless regulation lead to less production of a commodity. So by proposing 'windfall' and other taxes on energy companies plus tough new rules, Congress only makes our energy situation worse.

These are just a few of Congress' sins of omission -- all while India, China, Eastern Europe and the Middle East are adding more than a million barrels of new demand each and every year. New Energy Department forecasts see world oil demand growing 40% by 2030, including a 28% increase in the U.S.Americans who are worried about the direction of their country, including runaway energy and food prices, should keep in mind the upcoming election isn't just about choosing a new president. We'll also pick a new Congress.

If you agree with the need to let the American people know who's REALLY responsible for the sky-high gasoline prices we're seeing today, please forward this e-mail to everyone you know.

If we elect a liberal Democrat as president in the Fall and keep the same Democrat-controlled Congress, nothing will change .. except gasoline prices, which will keep going up.

Carter Out Campaigning for Hamas -- Again

Could someone please take Jimmy Carter home and medicate him? How could America have EVER elected a person like this to the White House? Carter’s time in office was, of course, looonnnnnggg before I was old enough to understand politics, but just looking at the crazy things he has said over the last decade and I have to wonder just how he got into office. Here’s his latest:

Hat Tip: LGF

The United States, Israel and the European Union must end their policy of
favoring Fatah over Hamas, or they will doom the Palestinian people to deepening
conflict between the rival movements, former US President Jimmy Carter said
Tuesday.
Carter, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate who was addressing a
conference of Irish human rights officials, said the Bush administration’s
refusal to accept the 2006 election victory of Hamas was “criminal.”
Carter said Hamas, besides winning a fair and democratic mandate that should have entitled it to lead the Palestinian government, had proven itself to be far more organized in its political and military showdowns with the Fatah movement of
Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas.

Favoring Fatah over Hamas? On any relevant topic, there is almost no difference between Fatah and Hamas! They are both radical terrorist killers who keep their people (what few that are not as radical as they are) oppressed and frightened. They oppress free speech and the free exercise of religion in their “countries” – such as it is.
They are both Jew-hating, Zionist conspiracy wielding, pork-petrified, woman-hating, gun toting, bomb throwing, suicide vest wearing murderers, who are so in love with death that they would murder each other out of existence without the common thread of hate for Israel. And that reaction is only to Carter’s first sentence! Jimmy Carter is so out of line, he should be a circle, and is certainly not someone to be seriously listened to on ANY subject, and certainly not foreign policy.

Charles at LGF says: “Far more organized” = much better at murder, torture, and violence. It’s just astounding that Carter would use a phrase like that to describe the nightmarish atrocities that have gone on in Gaza.”

Press release from Senator Feingold, Waves the white flag

SENATE MAJORITY LEADER COSPONSORS FEINGOLD BILL TO REDEPLOY TROOPS FROM IRAQ
April 2, 2007
Washington D.C. -
U.S. Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI) and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) announced today that they are introducing legislation that will effectively end the current military mission in Iraq and begin the redeployment of U.S. forces. The bill requires the President to begin safely redeploying U.S. troops from Iraq 120 days from enactment, as required by the emergency supplemental spending bill the Senate passed last week. The bill ends funding for the war, with three narrow exceptions, effective March 31, 2008.
“I am pleased to cosponsor Senator Feingold’s important legislation,” Reid said. “I believe it is consistent with the language included in the supplemental appropriations bill passed by a bipartisan majority of the Senate. If the President vetoes the supplemental appropriations bill and continues to resist changing course in Iraq, I will work to ensure this legislation receives a vote in the Senate in the next work period.”
“I am delighted to be working with the Majority Leader to bring our involvement in the Iraq war to an end,” Feingold said. “Congress has a responsibility to end a war that is opposed by the American people and is undermining our national security. By ending funding for the President’s failed Iraq policy, our bill requires the President to
safely redeploy
(surrender)our troops from Iraq.”
The language of the legislation reads:
(a) Transition of Mission - The President shall promptly transition the mission of United States forces in Iraq to the limited purposes set forth in subsection (d).
(b) Commencement of Safe, Phased Redeployment from Iraq - The President shall commence the safe, phased redeployment of United States forces from Iraq that are not essential to the purposes set forth in subsection (d). Such redeployment shall begin not later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
(c) Prohibition on Use of Funds - No funds appropriated or otherwise made available under any provision of law may be obligated or expended to continue the deployment in Iraq of members of the United States Armed Forces after March 31, 2008.
(d) Exception for Limited Purposes - The prohibition under subsection (c) shall not apply to the obligation or expenditure of funds for the limited purposes as follows:
(1) To conduct targeted operations, limited in duration and scope, against members of al Qaeda and other international terrorist organizations.
(2) To provide security for United States infrastructure and personnel.
(3) To train and equip Iraqi security services.

There is just so much wrong with this that I don't know where to start. Well, lets start at the beginning. In a nutshell, everything hinges on "subsection (d)."

(1) targeted, limited ops vs Al Qaeda: Hhhmmm. If you are attacking A Q and others, how does one differentiate between violent domestic insurgents and AQ until after the battle? And since all of the insurgents are AQ allies, doesn't this contradict itself? And why should ops vs AQ be limited? I could go on for pages....
(2) provide security for US personnell and infrastructure: Isn't that what we do now? And if the bad guys attack but are not AQ insurgents, do we fight back?
(3) train and equip Iraqi sec forces: This contradicts (a) since this puts our forces in combat against non AQ personell. The only way to do this is to lead Iraqi troops in combat.

Senators Reid and Fiengold are idiots. I would question their patriotism but, with this, I don't have to question anything. These shortsighted, greedy, pieces of you know what are playing politics with the lives of my fellow service members just so they can make Bush look bad. Sure, the campaign has been handled badly. But they would rather surrender in the face of the enemy than support our President to win this war. This is the key campaign in the War on Terror. If they do this, no enemy will fear us; no ally will trust us.

Contact your representative now to derail this. Any Congressional member that supports this should be defeated, if not brought up for recall.

The Left Will Usher in the American "Mutawwa"

Hey lefties, here’s a good look at what Amerika will look like after the left has helped the radical Islamists overthrow democracy;

Hat Tip: LGF

***

RIYADH (Reuters) - Saudi Arabia’s bearded religious police, who have been known to force men to cut their hair, are being re-trained to handle a potential influx of non-Muslim tourists, a government official said on Sunday.
The Supreme Commission for Tourism (SCT) told Reuters that the Authority for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice — otherwise known as the religious police, or “mutawwa” — had volunteered to take part in an orientation programme.
“It was the Authority that requested that some of its members be able to participate in the Ya Hala (Welcome!) programme,” Magid al-Shiddi, SCT spokesman said.
“It aims to teach how to deal with people of different cultures and develop communication skills,” Shiddi said.
Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam which imposes strict Islamic law, this year announced a drive to attract tourists from around the world to a land that has long remained closed to many outsiders, especially non-Muslim Westerners.
The religious police, with powers to prevent drugs, alcohol and prostitution, roam city streets checking that unrelated men and women do not mix and that shops close during daily prayers.

***
I can just see them burning the entire state of Cali-fornication now.
No more Bud Bowls, beer bongs, kegs, casks, or 40-ounces.

Don King will be shaved to within an inch of his life. No more dreadlocks, Mohawks, or biker braids.

No more cheerleaders, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issues, biker chicks, Manhattan “fashion” models, lingerie models, or strip bars (except at the royal palace.)

No more Chippendale guys, Essence magazines, bachelorette parties, “girls nite out” parties, “Sista-to-Sista magazines,” “romance” novels, or “Oxygen” network – Maybe Lifetime, but all characters must wear burkas and be escorted on-set by a male relative.

No more bare midriffs, loose cleavage, tight jeans, mini-skirts, or “hot pants,” tube tops, tank tops, or thongs, or any other clothing that reveals, while trying to convince guys in a bar to “see you for your mind, and who you are.”

Also, no more painted toes, painted nails, nose piercing, eyebrow piercings, fruity mixed drinks, or driving yourself anywhere. No singles cruises, girls-only cruises, or “I just want to get away” cruises.

No more Lauderdale spring break. No more night clubs. No more X-Boxes, MTV-VH1, or Rap City. No more “Girls Gone Wild.” NO MORE HOLLY-WEIRD movies, Friday soft porn on late-night Cinemax. Brittney Spears will be put in a burka and have it duct-taped to her body.

In other words, they will help bring about what their idea of “the religious right” could NEVER have done.

How the left does love its irony.
