What Exactly Is His Problem?

H/T to my bud in Carolina from Rolling Thunder Productions

Obama skips National Anthem at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune
Camp LeJeune, NC -- President Barack Obama did NOT come out on stage for the singing of the National Anthem at his Camp LeJeune speech given at 12:00 Noon on Friday.

The Marine Corps Band played "Ruffles and Flourishes" but Obama did not come out.
The Secretary of Defense, Marine Corps Generals and a Navy Admiral came out.
The Marine Corps Chaplain came out and said a Prayer.

A lone female sang the National Anthem and after it was sung, the Marine Corps Band again played "Ruffles and Flourishes," a speaker introduced the President and only then did the Band play "Hail to the Chief" and did President Obama come out.

This struck me as very odd. Why did the President not come out for the prayer? Why did the President not come out for the National Anthem?

This was no mistake.
This was a slap in the face by the President, to the entire nation and it did not go unnoticed.

OK Who is In and Who Is Out?

I'm talking about Saturday morning in North Carolina. 12 miles south of the State line in Halifax, NC. We need some people on the ground, and we need some people to welcome these 4 hardy souls to the Old Dominion in true Southern fashion when they take the first step into our fair Commonwealth.
Don't make me do this alone. Bubba has been there since they crossed into NC and I want to take the lead in this for the first part of the walk in Virginia.
So, get up, get dressed, get breakfast, and for those of you with my cell number, call me when you need some directions or time frames. I'll be there at 0600, give or take a speeding ticket.

Looking for some help from the Richmond people. You know who you are. If you cant make it, you can listen to the Lee Brothers on Saturday morning for the call-in.

Come on, guys. Lets show these Patriots how we really feel about winning the Global War on Terror and giving the Iraqi people the same opportunities we enjoy.

It is truly time to "walk the walk".

Resolve to Win Day 3

Updates at my site or the RTW Blog.

Major Heerup says Bubba is scruffy.

Lt Col. Marc Breslow posted this as part of his profile:

I am participating in the Resolve to Win March effort for two reasons, first to support my comrades from Iraq. The second reason is more complicated.

After 9-11, I personally felt my 26 years of service had been a failure because we had not prevented an attack on the US. After participation in the OIF from 2006-2007, I again gained a sense of victory and success. We are achieving many goals in Iraq and definitely can win the campaign. Our soldiers deserve the nations support and they deserve the victory that is achievable. People must stand up and insure our political leadership demonstrates the same dedication and fortitude...

I am a Life member of the VFW an Annual member of the AM Legion, a Life member of the AMVETS and a Life member of the 82nd Abn Division Association.

IVAW Shut Down; Resolve to Win Update; Haditha

The only thing stronger than a warrior, is the warrior's mother.

Update on Haditha Marines via FreeRepublic.

Nat Helms will be reporting for NewsMax on the trial of the Haditha Marines.
Nat is the author of "My Men Are My Heros" The Brad Kasal Story, and was a door-gunner in Nam with the 282nd Assault Helicopter Company, the 'Blackcats', out of Marble Mountain, Hue, and Quang Tri in 1968-1969. The book link will take you to an interview with Micheal Yon, the Marble Mountain link will take you, well, to Marble Mountain.

OK I keep coming back and adding to the original post.
Resolve to Win has stepped off and there are some great pics at NC GoE. I think our friend Bubba had something to do with this.
Keep checking back, because they'll be here before you know it, and I really want Virginians to turn out for this.
