Adbusters Tells Occupiers to Take to the Streets of Chicago a la 1968

Adbusters Tells Occupiers to Take to the Streets of Chicago a la 1968

This past weekend Occupy Wall Street protesters engaged in violent protest that led to the arrest of some 300 protesters, just as Adbusters now calls for protestors to descend upon Chicago this summer in the tradition of the 1968 riots.
The City of Oakland found itself griped in domestic terrorism as Occupy protesters took to the streets in violent rampages that included breaking into city hall, burning an American flag, and pelting police officers with rocks at the Henry Kaiser Convention Building as the protestors tried to take over the vacant center by tearing down perimeter fencing.

What does democracy look like...? Looks more like anarchy to me.

#Occupy Movement Is Unsafe for Women: Attacks and Threats Show Dangers of Anarchist Organizing

#Occupy Movement Is Unsafe for Women: Attacks and Threats Show Dangers of Anarchist Organizing

As the Occupy manifestation of the “Global Peace and Justice Movement” begins to decay and break down into the predictable anarchy, violence and arrests, it is becoming clear that the protests pose special dangers for women. Even the left has begun to admit it. The Nation tries to laud the role of women in Occupy Wall Street but can’t avoid the truth:

Here are a just a few recent incidents:

•A 14-year-old runaway was allegedly sexually assaulted at Occupy Dallas.
•A 19-year-old student activist was allegedly raped at Occupy Cleveland.
•A man was arrested on charges of indecent exposure to children at Occupy Seattle.
•A female reporter was threatened by activists at Occupy Oakland.

Some Observations Regarding the OWS

They'll be here next Saturday. A conglomeration of misfits, miscreants, moonbats, asshats and wannabe anarchists; lazy, selfish individuals with no ethics or morals; or any concept of personal responsibility, with no coherent message other than making a living is somehow a bad thing and creating wealth and making life better is somehow evil.

I've noticed that the longer this goes on, the more twisted and convoluted the messages become. Talk to any random participant and you're just as likely to hear a diatribe concerning nano-thermite being used to bring down Tower 7 as you are a manifesto concerning perceived corporate greed and greedy bankers and threats of violence against anyone who disagrees.

(Side Note: there is no such thing as NANO-thermite; there IS thermite. Its used to join very heavy pieces of steel together, usually crane rail-tracks. We use it at the shipyard all the time to construct overhead crane rails)

We have learned over the past weeks that there is anti-semitism rampant as demonstrated by the video of a very disturbed participant berating an older Jewish man. We have learned that there is little regard for sanitary conditions, bathing or clothing. There is also some very dangerous behavior going on as evidenced by the discovery of used syringes lying about the park. I doubt all of them are used to inject insulin.

75% of the participants in these "protests" are just lazy, envious slobs who lack the drive and determination to make their own lives better and so they insist everyone is to blame but themselves and therefore everyone must be forced to live as they do.

Thanks but NO THANKS. I'll devote my time and energy to making my life better instead of denigrating those who have achieved the American Dream.

Uh Oh Boys and Girls She's Baaaaaccccck

From Discover the Networks comes this notice that the anarchists, leftists, marxists, peaceniks, useful idiots, usual suspects and assorted malcontents will be gathering in Washington DC on 6 October for an anti-capitalist rally. The irony of this is, some of these anti-capitalists will be coming by charter bus, the owners of said charter bus being capitalist. If they were dedicated activists, they would all walk to DC and not buy a single item from anyone.

After the jump you can read the roster of revolutionaries scheduled to attend. Of course Susie Q and her merry band of ladies in pink spandex (be still my heart), will be there, as will ANSWER, UFPJ, WCW. As I said previously, the usual suspects, with some new group names thrown in.

More than 150 organizations are scheduled to send representatives to the DC gathering on October 6, including the All-African People's Revolutionary Party, the Backbone Campaign, Code Pink, Food Not Bombs, Global Exchange, the Green Party USA, Healthcare-Now, the International Action Center, International ANSWER, the Middle East Children's Alliance, Movement for a Democratic Society, the Network of Spiritual Progressives, Occupy Wall Street, Pax Christi, Peace Action, Progressive Democrats of America, Sojourners, Tikkun, United for Peace and Justice, Veterans for Peace, the War Resisters League, Women Against Military Madness, the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, and World Can't Wait. Another key supporter of O-2011 is the National Lawyers Guild.

The newly formed “October 2011″ movement will stage its kickoff rally in DC next Thursday. Calling on the U.S. government to end all economic policies “which foster a wealth divide,” this organization vehemently opposes federal spending cuts — favoring instead massive government expenditures for the purpose of “creating jobs.”

Encouraging its members and supporters to pursue “a culture of resistance,” O-2011 selected Washington, DC's Freedom Plaza as the site of its first major Call to Action, scheduled for October 6, 2011. This date was chosen because it marked the tenth anniversary of America's post-9/11 invasion of Afghanistan, and because it represented what O-2011 called “the beginning of the 2012 federal austerity budget”—a reference to a recently passed debt-ceiling bill designed to curb the United States' escalating national debt. Promoting the October 6 event as a “nonviolent resistance similar to the Arab Spring and the Midwest awakening,” O-2011 has pledged to “resist the corporate machine” and to “demand that America's resources be invested in human needs and environmental protection instead of war and exploitation.”

They're Anti-Government Too

The recurring theme in any news article which references the TEA Party movement, aside from the racist label, is they are "anti-government."

This year, Mr Meek is trailing badly in a three-horse race. Marco Rubio, the Republican candidate, backed by the anti-government Tea Party, was initially viewed as too Right-wing for Florida. He now has a seemingly unassailable 13-point lead, according to the latest Quinnipiac University poll.(emphasis mine)
Anti-goverment? You mean like anarchists? The Ruckus Society? That's the only "anti-goverment" group I can think of. Those are the children you see at the anti-war/anti-military/pro-Hamas-Hezbollah-PLO rallies dressed in black with their faces covered so their parents won't recognize them if they get arrested for destroying private property or show up in news footage of the event.

I've yet to see a TEA party activist destroy anything or call for the elimination of all goverment.
I have seen them demand a voice in their own affairs. I've seen them call for the removal of politicians who refuse to listen to the will of the people. I've heard them tell the goverment to stop spending money on stupid projects. I've even heard them demand that the goverment leave them alone..."oh the humanity".

It's no wonder TEA Party activists are feared in campaign HQ's across the nation, Republican or Democrat. You start giving in to those demands and who knows where it might lead.

If the MFVLWM ever wants to regain it's credibility, they should refer to TEA activists as "limited government"; or "lower taxes' or "self-determination" or "personal responsibility".

Yeah, I know. Those terms aren't nearly as sexy as "anti-government" or "racist". They might be a more accurate description and they are the truth, but hey, since when has the MFVLWM ever let a little thing like "facts" get in the way of honest reporting?

Remarks By LtCol Allen West

Kiss the Ring
If one really wants a lesson in political intimidation you need only look to the history of the Democrat party. It is the party which created the Ku Klux Klan as its terrorist arm. It is the party of segregation, Jim Crow laws, poll taxes, and lynching, among other forms of violence. It is the party that reversed much of the Reconstruction era civil rights legislation and would have blocked the Civil Rights Act of the early 1960’s, save not for Republican Senator Everett Dirksen.

Today the Democrat party maintains its intimidation mantra through the thugs of ACORN, SEIU, New Black Panther Party, Code Pink, and anarchist groups. See if any political party recognizes violence and intimidation in America, it is the Democrat party. Now with the media in tow, they have expanded their means by which to attack simple Americans yearning for their freedom and liberty. Let us never forget the heinous treatment of former President George W Bush and the last American President to be shot……a Republican, Ronald Reagan.

It is beyond contempt and belief that the party who promoted slavery and segregation is now attempting to call anyone racist. I find it absolutely humorous when the left attacks me as a; radical, racist, uncle tom, oreo, sellout, and token. The actions of the left media who interviewed a black Gentleman at a tea party trying to coach him into condemning the tea party as racist is reprehensible, but indicative of the MSM.

The real racists in America are liberal progressives. Their dishonest tyranny which promotes failing social welfare policies centers on enslavement, not empowerment. They have created a new 21st century plantation and utilize such people as Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and the Congressional black caucus as their plantation overseer’s.

The duplicitous hypocrisy of a Senator Harry Reid making statements about “light-skinned” and “non-negro dialect” as being acceptable to him is the essence of racism. How funny, that the mindless lemming lap dogs who refer to themselves as black leaders gave him a pass.

Therefore, I am proud to stand with my American Brothers and Sisters, and their children, at TEA Party events and rallies. I would rather stand with them than live in shame and submission to the party of slavery, secession, segregation, and now socialism. It is amazing to me that President Obama and his cronies find it hard to address our real enemies; Islamic terrorists, muslim extremists, and jihadists.

Instead he seeks to ridicule and demonize Americans exercising their Constitutional rights, truly Alinsky style. The TEA Party movement is about the rejection of his policies, not his skin color. The TEA Party movement is about rejecting ruling class elitism and career politicians that feel Americans should say thank you and in submission, “Kiss the Ring”.

Americans have no issue with being justly governed, but we will reject being ruled, ask the last fella who tried, King George III. We are having a TEA Party across the land, time for true Americans to make a stand.

Steadfast and Loyal! LTC A B West (USA, Ret)

How the Radical Left Views Us

Randy's Right has this posted.
Be prepared for poseurs, infilitrators and trouble-makers.
On April 15th thousands of right-wingers will attend rallies in cities and towns across the United States. The organizers of this nationwide day of protest call it a tea party. This tea party movement that emerged only a year ago is a coalition of conservatives, anti-Semites, fascists, libertarians, racists, constitutionalists, militia men, gun freaks, homophobes, Ron Paul supporters, Alex Jones conspiracy types and American flag wavers.

Those American flag wavers and the constitutionalists are the ones that worry me the most. There's no telling what we'll do.

I resent being lumped in with the ronbots and Alex Jones conspiracy types, though; I was a conspiracy freak long before Jones started spouting insane theories.

Beware the Counter-revolution

Beware the Counterrevolution
By Andrew Thomas

The left is already telegraphing its strategy to discredit the town hall movement. Conservatives must wise up and use a little jiujitsu of our own.

It is important to note from the start that the struggle between liberty and socialism will never end, at least not in our lifetimes. If by chance it does, it will be because evil has triumphed. As long as people are free to make their own choices, some of those choices will always be for self-destruction or slavery (moral masochism). That is just the nature of human beings. However, once the slavery of socialism is self-imposed through trickery or stealth, there are no more choices. That is the weakness of a free people. The weakness of socialism is that it cannot be revealed for what it truly is until it is too late to stop it. Like all things evil, it cannot stand the light of day.

The reason I say that the struggle will never end is that no matter how many times it is beaten back, the socialist left keeps returning. It is relentless. When their evil intent is revealed, the leftists retreat and then re-package it in different wrapping paper. Socialized medicine becomes Hillarycare becomes ObamaCare. (becomes health insurance reform) Healthcare is a right for everyone, they say. Who would dare oppose that? Environmentalism becomes global warming becomes climate change. Who could be against saving the planet? The weakness of a free people is exploited.

The problem for these strategies is that once people have had a chance to examine the packages, they are discovering that they are Trojan horses. They do not save the planet nor provide quality healthcare for all Americans. Their sole purpose is to dramatically expand the power of the government over its citizens, providing the potential for complete enslavement.

Americans are finally waking up to this fact, albeit almost too late. They are angry. They have been misled. Surprising the socialist left with their ferocity, they are storming into town hall meetings and confronting their dishonest legislative representatives. Hypocrisy is being exposed. We have taken the high ground and are on the offensive. Is it time to high-five each other and celebrate our victory?

Au contraire, mon frère (as George Carlin would say). We are facing the most ruthless and power-hungry government in American history. They have the most effective and dedicated propaganda arm the world has ever known, i.e. the misnomered "mainstream" media. They are changing the face of America surreptitiously through an unelected and completely uncontrolled group of leftist radicals (including an avowed Communist) known as "Czars".

Congress has been relegated to the status of "useful idiots". The government commands the powerful thuggish shadow armies of ACORN and SEIU, with the intent of forcibly drafting millions of our kids, brainwashing them, and inducting them into a third shadow army, AmeriCorps.

Do you really believe that the next elections in 2010 and particularly 2012 will be the solution to the current socialist infestation? Do you think that people who are as addicted to power as Obama, Emmanuel, and Axelrod will passively accept their ouster in a fair general election? After fighting the good fight, will they gracefully withdraw from power?

This administration currently controls the census, which can initiate creation of additional congressional districts in liberal areas of the country based on their populations as counted by leftist community organizers. The left dominates election committees and polling volunteers. If they decide to sabotage voting machines or vote tabulation software or servers, who will provide the oversight to prevent them from doing so? They run the largest organized voter fraud organization in the world (except for perhaps Iran) a.k.a. ACORN.

Who knows what "October surprises" they have planned? Will we see the New Black Panther Party more actively menacing voters at the polls, since the Obama administration refuses to prosecute this voter intimidation?

Leftists do not see election fraud or other dirty tactics as illegal, immoral, or unethical. This is because the socialist agenda is for the good of the nation, a noble cause to promote and protect at any cost. In other words, the ends justify the means. In the final analysis, it is difficult to predict what they are capable of.

No its not. We've seen them trash recruitment centers and vandalize memorials. Expect the absolute worst behavior. They are quite capable of extreme violent behavior.

The rules don't apply to them. We can only study the actions of other socialist leaders such as Lenin, Stalin, Castro, and Chavez, and make assumptions.

Not so confident now, are you? In reading the comments sections of American Thinker and other conservative websites, you can observe that the anger of the commenters is palpable and rising. People feel trapped and threatened. The natural temptation to turn to violence must be resisted.

Violence is the very tactic that the left is prepared for. The Southern Poverty Law Center released a report several days ago indicating that right-wing militias and hate groups are on the rise and threatening insurrection.

This is essentially a recycled article that is trotted out by the SPLC with each new presidential administration, citing many of the same tired anecdotal examples such as Ruby Ridge and Waco's Branch Davidians as evidence of growing violence. The only thing new in the piece is blaming the supposed increase in extremist activity on alleged racism toward a black president. No evidence to support this contention was presented, however.

Nonetheless, many news outlets, including Associated Press and CBS News, picked up the story and sensationalized it. A quote from the article states, "All it's lacking is a spark". All that is missing in this leftist wishful fantasy is another Timothy McVeigh. If he doesn't show up on his own, someone may create him. They would love nothing better than capturing a group of violent "right-wing crazies" on video committing some atrocity.

However it's done, the entire right side of the political spectrum will be implicated, tarred with the same brush. The goal will be to shut down all dissent through intimidation, justified by righteously proclaiming a war on domestic terrorism.

Conservative conversation will be squelched as "hate speech". Talk radio, internet blogs, Fox News commentators, Tea Parties, and any other conservative outlets of communication or assembly will be forcibly eliminated under the guise of protecting public safety. The "mainstream" media will joyfully cooperate in this endeavor, and anyone identified as a conservative politician will be vilified and transformed into an instant pariah. Game over, they win.

What is the answer? I like to use the karate analogy. There are two styles of karate, hard and soft. Hard karate is employed by the more powerful fighter, using his size and strength like a bull to overwhelm his opponent. In soft karate, the fighter uses the opponent's size and strength against him. It is more stealthy and graceful. It is the matador. The opponent is defeated by finesse rather than brute force.

We need to study the weaknesses of our opponents, and capitalize on their mistakes (and there are currently many). The Obama administration is tripped up when they accidentally reveal their true agenda. These mistakes need to be "picked, frozen, and personalized" (Alinsky's rule #12).

Another example is the "Obama Joker" poster that mysteriously appeared around LA and elsewhere. It was a very clever and creative means of passive resistance that delivered a powerful message. Although, as Sonia Sotomayor says, I don't endorse this tactic.

That's great, you may say, but there's really no way I can personally apply the soft karate method to the fight against American socialism. Again, au contraire, mon frère.

There is a golden opportunity rapidly approaching for us to peacefully assemble in massive numbers and demonstrate our resolve to oppose the pure evil of socialist enslavement.

It is the 09.12.09 March on Washington. This is perfect timing, as the Senate will potentially be voting on Obamacare later in September. In a truly Orwellian move, Obama is scheduled to make a major announcement concerning expansion of AmeriCorps on September 11. (unconfirmed)

I will be there, and I hope to see thousands of other American Thinker fans there, as well.
