Muslim Brotherhood In the White House?

Report--Obama quietly appoints Muslim Brotherhood to key posts (updates)

An ex-CIA agent and counter-intelligence expert has revealed in a special report that Barack Obama has quietly appointed individuals who are friendly to radical Islam to key posts within the Administration.

Clare Lopez, former professor at the Centre for Counterintelligence and Security Studies, wrote a policy paper in February of 2009 entitled, 'The Iran Lobby,' which details the systematic appointment of Sharia-friendly advocates within the State Department and other government agencies. While the paper does not deal specifically with the Muslim Brotherhood, information is presented that shows the growing influence of radical Islam within the U.S. government.

Events which are currently unfolding in the Middle East are a consequence of the behind-the-scenes work of Islamic advocates within the Administration.

According to reports issued by NewsRealBlog, RedState, and LaborUnionReport, secret documents released by Wikileaks indicate that the United States government has been in the process of planning social and political upheaval in the Middle East for at least 2 years--beginning during the waning days of the Bush Administration and continuing under Obama. The goal was to push moderate Muslim dictators out the door in countries such as Egypt, while advocating so-called 'democracy' which would then insure the rise of Muslim Brotherhood-supported Islamists to fill the power-gap.

DCExaminer Morrning Email Blast

Byron York - The White House's phony case for its health plan
No matter what the White House says, the public has taken a look at the health care proposal as a whole. They don't like it. It's as simple as that.

Byron York - Pelosi: 'Once we kick through this door,' more reform will follow
If you have any doubt that the Democratic leadership of the House views passing the current health care reform bill as the beginning, not the end, of the process of creating a national government health care system, just note what Speaker Nancy Pelosi told a group of bloggers on Monday. "My biggest fight has been between those who wanted to do something incremental and those who wanted to do something comprehensive," Pelosi said, according to an account by Washington Post reform advocate Ezra Klein. "We won that fight, and once we kick through this door, there'll be more legislation to follow."

Susan Ferrechio - Dems may try to pass Obamacare without holding a vote
Democratic leaders are now devising a legislative tactic that would allow them to take a vote on a bill that makes changes to the Senate plan without ever voting on the Senate bill itself. Republicans are in an uproar of the proposal, which would "deem" the Senate bill passed, even though lawmakers will not actually put their names on the record in favor of it.

Julie Mason - Obama tries to recast health plan as a moderate move
President Obama is touting the latest version of health care reform as a measure that should draw bipartisan support -- and in a way, it does. Both sides hate it.

David Freddoso - Obama: Polls don't say what the people want
"The American people want to know if it’s still possible for Washington to look out for these interests, for their future. So what they’re looking for is some courage. They’re waiting for us to act. They’re waiting for us to lead. They don’t want us putting our finger out to the wind. They don’t want us reading polls. They want us to look and see what is the best thing for America, and then do what’s right."

Follow-Up (Sort of) to the Post Below

From Patriot Post:

Like Obama himself, the Salahis got into the White House without qualification or a background check. Of course, the Salahis merely had to hoodwink three security checkpoint personnel, while the Obamas duped some 33 million voters. (Yes, I know, Obama received 66,882,230 votes, but at least half of those were from people who knew full well they were electing a socialist. The other half, however, were just temporarily mesmerized by Obama's "hope-n-change" mantra.)

Among the most interesting accounts of these charlatans is one from Washington Post columnist Anne Applebaum in an essay entitled, "Social climbing with a twist."
Her column is directed at the Salahis, but one can't escape the irony that it could be just as easily directed at the Obamas.

Applebaum writes, "Social climbing is an ancient art, one as old as society itself. The
character of the high-society impostor -- the fake aristocrat, the soi-disant marquis, the 'professor' with no degree -- has been known in every era, too.

"Over the centuries, some societies have been more susceptible to these sorts of swindles than others," notes Applebaum. "Catherine the Great's Russia, for example, was positively swarming with phony English duchesses and Italian princes." Applebaum continues, "To that notable group of societies we can now add 21st-century Washington. Like 18th-century Russia, it is a world of neophytes, a society whose members have only recently 'made it' into an elite magic circle and who don't necessarily know the other members all that well.

Like 19th-century New York, it is also a world where appearances matter: You get invited to the event ... not just because of who you are but because of what you represent, which costume you wear, which ethnic group you come from."

Or as Obama put it in the opening pages of his political autobiography, "I am new
enough on the national political scene that I serve as a blank screen on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views."

"Above all, says Applebaum, "it is a world that seems to offer wealth and fame to those outsiders who manage to enter it. ... Just like all charlatans and swindlers
over the centuries, they managed [to get into the White House] by looking and acting the part. ... They knew how to behave around the contemporary aristocracy: Simply act as if you belong, don't stare too hard at the celebrities, don't eat or drink too much, and do engage your neighbors in light chit-chat." That is an apt description of the Obamas, who are the epitome of nouveau riche.

"But," writes Applebaum, "there are differences between [them] and, say, Count Alessandro di Cagliostro, a self-described 'Spanish aristocrat' who set himself up as a glamorous 'faith healer' in 1770s St. Petersburg and made his living by borrowing money from gullible courtiers. [They] are hoping to cash in faster -- a lot faster ... and they also have a lot more [mass media] help than did the swindlers of yesteryear."

Yep, that's Barack and Michelle, alright.

Va. launches probe into business entity run by Salahis
Tareq Salahi is reportedly a member of the American Task Force on Palestine

The state of Virginia today began a formal investigation into the America's Polo Cup, the business entity run by Michaele and Tareq Salahi that the couple says raises funds for their charitable organization.

"The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) launched an investigation into the fund-raising practices of America's Polo Cup as they relate to the Virginia Solicitation of Contributions Law. Because this is an active investigation, VDACS cannot comment further on any of aspects of the investigation."

The America's Polo Cup, a gala held each spring since 2007, is billed by the Salahis as the "world's most prestigious and largest . . . charity polo event," in promotional materials. The couple tells sponsors that the posh event gives its proceeds to Journey for the Cure, a federally approved nonprofit 501(c)(3) foundation.

SSL Certs, White House and Privacy

Huge H/T to my bud Bigg Bill in PA for sending out the email. Hand salute to SWWBO over at Castle Arrghh for taking the initiative.

This is serious stuff, friends, if its true.

Glen Reynolds had a short post that the White House is looking to harvest personal data from Social Networking Websites like Twitter and Facebook. He doesn’t think that’s as scary as it sounds.
I do.
In fact, I wonder if someone at the White House has already been fiddling around with trying to insert SSL Certificates on unsuspecting users’ computers.
Last week, I made a somewhat disparaging remark about the Obama White House (not at all an unusual thing for me to do). I shut down Twitter, then about an hour
later, reopened it and saw this warning:

More on the Dissing of Our Cousins

In an opinion piece published in the New York Post, Arthur Herman, whose latest book is “Gandhi and Churchill: The Epic Rivalry That Destroyed an Empire and Forged Our Age.” points to several examples of Obama apparently seeking to downplay the traditionally close U.S.-Britain ties:
  • Obama did not hold a joint Rose Garden press conference with Brown, the “usual protocol” when a president and British prime minister first meet.
  • Instead of citing the decades-old “special relationship” between the two countries, a White House spokesperson referred to a “special partnership.”
  • In the traditional gift exchange between the two leaders, Brown gave Obama a pen holder made from the timber of the first British ship to fight the slave trade, and a signed first edition of the classic 8-volume biography of Winston Churchill by Randolph Churchill and Sir Martin Gilbert.

Obama’s gift to Brown was a collection of DVDs of classic American films, including “Psycho,” which are all available in British stores.
But Obama had earlier demonstrated his disdain for Churchill, ordering that the bust of Churchill that Prime Minister Tony Blair had presented to the U.S. after 9/11 be returned to the British Embassy.

In fact, another Churchill expert, “Churchill: Speaker of the Century” author James Humes, cited a report that when Obama first entered the Oval Office and saw the Churchill bust, he said, “Get that goddam thing out of here.”

Herman wrote in the Post: “This was a stunning posthumous attack on the memory of a man who was not only the living embodiment of the Anglo-American special relationship (Churchill was half American), but of its ideological foundations.”

That special relationship has seen American and British forces fight together in two World Wars, Korea, the first Gulf War, Bosnia and most recently in Iraq. But the eight volumes of Churchill’s biography “will plainly sit unread on the White House bookshelf — because Barack Obama clearly considers that legacy, like the Anglo-American alliance itself, to be outdated,” Herman observed.

The London Daily Telegraph succinctly stated: “Obama has been rudeness personified toward Britain.”

Red Envelope Day

What: Get red envelopes or postcards (http://www.zazzle.%20com/RedEnvelopeDay) and mail them on March 31st to the White House
When: March 31st, 2009

Get a red envelope. You can buy them at Kinkos, or at party supply stores.

On the front, address it to
President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave NW
Washington , D.C. 20500

On the back, write the following message.

This envelope represents one child who died because of an abortion. It is empty because the life that was taken is now unable to be a part of our world.

We will mail the envelopes out March 31st, 2009.

Then forward this event to every one of your friends who you think would send one too.
I wish we could send 50 million red envelopes, one for every child who died in the U.S. before having a chance to live.
It may seem that those who believe abortion is wrong are in a minority. It may seem like we have no voice and it's shameful to even bring it up.
Let us show our President and the world that the voices of those of us who do not believe abortion is acceptable are not silent and must be heard.
Together we can change the heart of The President and save the lives of millions of children.

Exclusive: Obama, It’s Time to Grow Up

Family Security Matters

Someone please tell me why any candidate for the White House exhibiting a pattern of distorting, hiding from and twisting the truth is not a matter of national security. Better yet, someone please tell me that it is not the height of absurdity that someone who represents the kind of ideology that our brave men and women have fought and died to stop is now on the brink of taking the helm of our government. If we let this man win this election, we will make a mockery of the blood they shed to keep precisely his kind of thinking out of this country.
