DC Press Conference on the COLB Issue

We the People Foundation

Full-Page Citizenship Challenge To Run Twice in Chicago Tribune
December 1st and 3rd

D.C. National Press Club Event: Dec 8th

Our full-page Open Letter to Mr. Obama will be published in the Chicago Tribune on both Monday, December 1, 2008 and Wednesday, December 3, 2008. It will appear in the main news section.

Click here to view a copy of the final ad.

Chicago is Mr. Obama’s hometown. His transition team is operating out of the Kluczynski Federal Building in downtown Chicago. He is known to be a regular reader of the Tribune, Chicago’s principal newspaper, with a daily circulation of over a half-million readers.
The Open Letter to Mr. Obama is a formal Petition for a Redress (Remedy) for the alleged violation of the “natural born citizen” clause of the Constitution of the United States of America. Mr. Obama is respectfully requested to direct the Hawaiian officials to provide access to his original birth certificate on December 5-7 by our team of forensic scientists, and to provide additional documentary evidence establishing his citizenship status prior to our Washington, D.C. press conference on December 8.
A First Amendment Petition to any official of the Government for Redress of a violation of the Constitution is substantially different from the garden-variety political petitions frequently received by government officials. This Petition demands it be given the highest priority for an expedited review and official Response by Mr. Obama. As a formal “Notice of a Constitutional Violation,” the Petition naturally includes the People’s inherent Right to an official Response. As a time-sensitive, election related Petition involving the Office of the President, failure to Respond as requested would constitute an egregious breach of the public trust and confirm the certainty of a Constitutional crisis.
For the D.C. press conference the WTP Foundation has reserved the Edward R. Murrow Room at the National Press Club from 1-4 pm on Monday, December 8, 2008. We are hopeful that C-SPAN may cover what could be a pivotal, historic event.
The Petition for Redress/Open Letter to Mr. Obama is also expected to have a significant impact on the deliberations of the Electoral College as it proceeds toward selection of the U.S. President as provided for by the Constitution.
Many, many thanks to the many individuals who donated the money needed to cover the costs of publishing the Open Letter and conducting the Washington press conference.
We are now in the process of selecting the forensic scientists who would travel to Hawaii to examine Mr. Obama’s original birth certificate (assuming he responds to the Petition for Redress by directing the Hawaiian officials to provide access to the birth certificate). The budget for this task is currently estimated at $20,000. We need to raise the money quickly. Unfortunately, we are starting from zero and we have but one week before the scientists would need to be in Hawaii

Shredding the Constitution

Article 1, Section 6Excerpt:
No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been increased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

The Constitution is a hindrance to N0bama, so he just ignores it.

Is this the "change" he was talking about?

Thanksgiving Message from VA-AFP

Happy Thanksgiving from Americans for Prosperity-Virginia
Because the First Thanksgiving occurred at Berkeley Plantation in 1619, two years before the Pilgrims set foot on Plymouth Rock, we at AFP-VA feel it is only right to give thanks for the business enterprise that gave us the oldest representative assembly in the Western Hemisphere.
The Virginia Company of London that founded our Commonwealth, and eventually our Nation, was envisioned by investors, adventurers, and most importantly bold risk takers. The Virginia Company did not succeed, but from its settlers came our self-reliant founders.

Times are uncertain these days. But, in those early days, 400 years ago, it was the now famous Captain John Smith who said “He that shall not worke [sic] shall not eat.” While circumstances today are not nearly as dire as they were in Smith’s time, the meaning of his statement should not be lost. We face decisions as important as any before. Whether we spend ourselves into oblivion, or whether we make necessary cuts in the upcoming General Assembly session ; the decision is up to our elected representatives.

So here at AFP-VA, we give thanks 400 years later for our successful state, our nation and for those bold settlers who believed in the virtues of self-reliance.

Open Letter to the SCOTUS from a retired Marine

U.S. Supreme Court
1 First Street, N.E
Washington, D.C. 20543

Honorable Justices,
America in general has thrown out God, thrown out marriage, thrown out morality, thrown out the Ten Commandments and virtually thrown out life in general. You are responsible for forsaking nearly all the principles given to us by our founding fathers.
Now we are on the verge of installing a President of the United States that may or may not be qualified and YOU want to throw out this issue as well. A question as to whether or not President Elect Obama meets the Constitutional requirements of "natural birth" is on the minds of millions of Americans. This uncertainity can be resolved by president-elect Obama simply making a valid, verified, official birth certificate available to the American public...the US Constitution demands accounability and the American public deserve an answer. After all, the President is accountable to "we the people" or do YOU want to throw that out too.
If this constitutional question is not answered, then in effect, the United States Constitution will also be "thrown out". I fought in three wars for this great nation because we were free and followed the guidelines of our peers and they the guidelines of their fathers.
If the foundation of America is thrown out, (Constitution, God, Marriage, Morality, sacrifice, et al) what are we to become? What becomes our foundation? Do we sweep aside principle and exist by "law of the jungle"? I have been in the Jungles of Vietnam and you don't want to go there.
With deep respect, I urge all Honorable Justices to prevent further erosion of the United States Constitution and require president-elect Obama to produce a valid, official birth certificate that will satisfy presidential service and appease the patriots and veterans of this great nation..

Respectfully,
James M. Clontz USMC (Ret)

SCOTUS to Hear Birth Certificate Issue

The links found in Devvy Kidd's article below are worth reading if you have not kept up with this issue! Devvy is very accurate and thorough in her research.
=================== ===========
Supreme court ruling on Obama's eligibility for presidency
http://origin.www.supremecourtus.gov/docket/08-570.htm
Nov. 18, 2008--Supreme Court Of The United States (SCOTUS) Justice David Souter has agreed that a review of the federal lawsuit filed by attorney Phil Berg against Barack Hussein Obama II, et al., which was subsequently dismissed for lack of standing is warranted.
SCOTUS Docket No.. 08-570 contains the details.
A review of that docket and the Rule 10 of the Supreme Court makes abundantly clear that Justice Souter's granting of a review on the Writ of Certiorari is not a right entitled=2 0to citizen Phil Berg, but rather is a matter of judcial discretion based upon a compelling reason. That compelling reason is the Constitutional requirement that "No person except a natural born citizen shall be eligible to the office of President..."

What this means is that on or before 1 DECEMBER 2008 Barack Hussein Obama II must respond to the writ of certiorari, and since the Berg v Obama case hinged primarily on the question of Obama's place of birth, it is almost inconceivable that Barack Obama will thumb his nose at the Justices of the Supreme Court and he is absolutely compelled to provide a vault copy of his original birth certificate.

Another very salient fact to consider at this time is that, despite all of the pronouncements of the print and broadcast media, Barack Obama is not yet the President-elect of the United States. Barack Obama can only become the President-elect after the Electoral College convenes on 15 DECEMBER 2008 in their respective state capitals around the nation and cast their votes to elect the President and the Vice President. As you can see, this election day occurs two weeks after the required response to the Supreme Court granted Writ of Certiorari.

The bottom line is this:=the presidential election of 2008 remains an ongoing process, the outcome of which remains undetermined, and all talk about a potential Constitutional crisis in the United States are at least 36 days premature.

The inevitable constitutional crisis regarding President-elect Obama, of course, revolves around his inability (or unwillingness) to produce an authentic Hawaiian birth certificate with the raised certificate stamp that the Federal Elections Commission can independently verify.

Here are some of the unanswered issues hanging over the head of President-elect Barack Obama and the question of his American citizenship:
· The allegation that Obama was born in Kenya to parents unable to automatically grant him American citizenship;
· The allegation that Obama was made a citizen of Indonesia as a child and that he retained foreign citizenship into adulthood without recording an oath of allegiance to regain any theoretical American citizenship;
· The allegation that Obama's birth certificate was a forgery an d that he may not be an eligible, natural-born citizen;
· The allegation that Obama was not born an American citizen; lost any hypothetical American citizenship he had as a child; that Obama may not now be an American citizen and even if he is, may hold dual citizenships with other countries. If any, much less all, of these allegations are true, the suit claims, Obama cannot constitutionally serve as president..
· The allegations that "Obama's grandmother on his father's side, half brother and half sister claim Obama was born in Kenya," the suit states." Reports reflect Obama's mother went to Kenya during her pregnancy; however, she was prevented from boarding a flight from Kenya to Hawaii at her late stage of pregnancy, which apparently was a normal restriction to avoid births during flight. Stanley Ann Dunham (Obama) gave birth to Obama in Kenya, after which she flew to Hawaii and registered Obama's birth."
· The claim could not be verified by inquiries to Hawaiian hospitals since state law bars the hospitals from releasing medical records to the public;
Even if Obama produced authenticated proof of his birth in Hawaii, however, the suit cl aims that the U.S. Nationality Act of 1940 provided that minors=2 0lose their American citizenship when their parents expatriate. Since Obama's mother married an Indonesian citizen and moved to Indonesia, the suit claims, she forfeited both her and Barack's American citizenship.

WHAT CONGRESS & THE MEDIA WON'T TELL YOU
By: DevvyNovember 17, 2008
2008 - NewsWithViews.com

"Would you rather have one tyrant 3,000 miles away or 3,000 tyrants one mile away?" Mel Gibson as Benjamin Martin, The Patriot
This is the latest on the Obama citizenship crisis and then some research resources for you on major issues.
In my last column, Part II, was devoted to the growing crisis over Barack Hussein Obama refusing to prove he is a natural born citizen; see here. You can get involved with the effort to contact electoral college delegates to stop their vote on December 15, 2008 by clicking here; those links are identified as such.
New developments
Dr. Alan Keyes filed a lawsuit in California, November 14, 2008: 'Constitutional crisis' looming over Obama's birth location. Alan Keyes lawsuit warns America may see 'usurper' in Oval Office. "The California secretary of state should refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until President-elect Barack Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office, alleges a California court petition filed on behalf of former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others."
Let me focus on Leo Donofrio's lawsuit which I covered in Part II of my last column. Leo is asking you to please write a short letter to Justice Clarence Thomas now that his case is docketed.
You need only ask Justice Thomas to hear Leo's case on an expedited basis because Obama's refusal to prove he's a natural born citizen is building into a constitutional crisis that cannot be allowed to progress to the swearing in process should the electoral college actually go ahead and vote him in on December 15, 2008.
Provide the case title and name:

Time For A Victory Parade

From Zombietime:

By every measure, The United States and coalition forces have conclusively defeated all enemies in Iraq, pacified the country, deposed the previous regime, successfully helped to establish a new functioning democratic government, and suppressed any lingering insurgencies. The war has come to an end. And we won.
What more indication do you need? An announcement from the outgoing Bush administration? It's not gonna happen. An announcement from the incoming Obama administration? That's really not gonna happen. A declaration of victory by the media? Please. Don't make me laugh. A concession of surrender by what few remaining insurgents remain in hiding? Forget about it. The moment has come to acknowledge the obvious. To overtly declare a fact that has already been true for quite some time now.

Let me repeat:

WE WON THE WAR IN IRAQ

And since there will never be a ticker-tape parade down Fifth Avenue in New York for our troops, it's up to us, the people, to arrange a virtual ticker-tape parade. An online victory celebration.

Saturday, November 22, 2008 is the day of that celebration: Victory in Iraq Day.

NATIONAL AMMO DAY is Tomorrow!

BUY! BUY! BUY!

Go! Empty the stores of ammo!
Scare the GFW's!

It's NATIONAL AMMO DAY tomorrow!

There are about 75,000,000 gun owners in America (give or take a few).
What would happen if every single one of them bought 100 rounds on the same day?
OK, ok,....
How about if just 15% of them bought 100 rounds in a single day? 1,000,000,000 rounds!

Think it would send a message?

Besides, this is your last chance to wish Kim a Happy Birthday since he is retiring from blogging November 30th. And National Ammo Day was his wife's idea.....

Renewal of the AWB

Update: On further investigation of H.R.6257 it appears that it was actually introduced last June and was referred to committee in July, well before the election. ( from Alphecca)

Obama has stated that he will reinvigorate the economy.

Well, he's been successful in one way, even prior to the Inauguration - gun sales.

Gun sales, as shown by a 15% increase in Background Checks, have skyrocketed. And that's just the sales through a dealer. The increase in private sales is unknown. But, I think that we can make an informed guess that sales are up.

The Richmond Gun Show had an increase of 1800 visitors. Some are buying handguns. Others are investing in eeeeevviiill "assault rifles" or, as informed persons know them, semi-automatic rifles. Why?

Because Obama has a history of banning guns. As does the Democratic Party. And one item in Obama's agenda is the re-introduction of the "Assault Weapons Ban," except this time they want to make it permanent, regardless of its logic, legality, or effectiveness.

But WAIT! It appears we don't have to fear an Obama Administration. The Democrats are not pushing for the AWB this year.

REPUBLICANS ARE! And the moderates wonder why we conservatives feel the need to purge the party of Repuplicans like this...

Here's the list of RINO's that are already kissing up to the Democrat powers to be:

H.R. 6257: Assault Weapons Ban Reauthorization Act of 2008

To reinstate the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act.

Sponsor:
Rep. Mark Kirk [R-IL]

(Rep. Kirk's office is 202-225-4835)

Cosponsors [as of 2008-11-07]
Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen [R-FL] Contact
Rep. Michael Ferguson [R-NJ] DC 202-225-5361/New Jersey 908-757-7835
Rep. Christopher Shays [R-CT] Contact
Rep. Michael Castle [R-DE] Contact

Why do we need enemies if we have friends like these? At least there are no Virginians on this list. It would be an interesting question to put to Senator Webb, however, since he is such a GREAT supporter of the 2nd Amendment. And its not worth calling Senator Warner....in my opinion, he'll vote in whatever way he feels will make him look good....

I'd like to see these idiots even DEFINE "assault weapon."

Here is the best definition yet:

Serendipitious Praise from an unexpected source

The USA has been blamed for its "Go it alone" attitude; our "don't give a damn about your opinion" stance. And, arguably, an understandable one, when a nation is constantly being criticized for it each and every action or lack of action.

We see only the opinions that the press deem worthy to repeat. Anti-Americanism sells papers in other nations as much as it sells here. We don't hear the voices of foreigners that work closely with Americans and admire them.

Until now.

Jean-Marc Liotier, of Serendipitous Altruism, translates a French article from a French OMLT (Operational Mentoring Liaison Teams) infantryman. As he writes, "this is a rare and moving testimony which is why I decided to translate it into English, so that American people can catch a glimpse of the way European soldiers see them."

Go leave a thank you note in his comments.

Thankful

I am not happy, but I’m thankful, on this Veteran’s Day, 2008. My sincere thanks to those who have served, and continue to do so!

I am not happy about the election, nor the way that things are shaping up even in the short time remaining before the inauguration. Bad vibes, bad portents...

I am not happy with the world and how sheeple are stacking up. There are the helpless, and the hopeless. The former deserve our help, the latter, well… you know.

I’m old enough to have learned and served a bit, young enough to know that I don’t know it all. I know that I don’t know everything, and it bothers me that there are those who seeming do know what’s best …

Be ever vigilant and keep up the good work.

We Blew It

"Let us bend over and kiss our ass goodbye. Our 28-year conservative opportunity to fix the moral and practical boundaries of government is gone--gone with the bear market and the Bear Stearns and the bear that's headed off to do you-know-what in the woods on our philosophy."

"An entire generation has been born, grown up, and had families of its own since Ronald Reagan was elected. And where is the world we promised these children of the Conservative Age? Where is this land of freedom and responsibility, knowledge, opportunity, accomplishment, honor, truth, trust, and one boring hour each week spent in itchy clothes at church, synagogue, or mosque? It lies in ruins at our feet, as well it might, since we ourselves kicked the shining city upon a hill into dust and rubble."

P. J. O'Rourke nails it like only he can....

Its already started....UPDATED

Apparently, the Obamunists have discovered that their plans may not be welcome. Under their "Urban Policy" page, one finds: "The page you requested is not available right now."

And the page prior to it, labeled Agenda, has only this:

The Agenda

President-Elect Obama and Vice President-Elect Biden have developed innovative approaches to challenge the status quo in Washington and to bring about the kind of change America needs.

The Obama Administration has a comprehensive and detailed agenda to carry out its policies. The principal priorities of the Obama Administration include: a plan to revive the economy, to fix our health care, education, and social security systems, to define a clear path to energy independence, to end the war in Iraq responsibly and finish our mission in Afghanistan, and to work with our allies to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, among many other domestic and foreign policy objectives.

Evidently, the Obama Administration doesn't want you to know what those plans are anymore....

Here is a pdf from NRAILA that was saved from the Google Cache.

The plans to take your guns is also gone.....

Here it is again, also from the NRAILA.

The Birth Certificate Issue is Still Alive

And still a huge question mark for a lot of people.

This is just a small snippet from RightSideNews
Supreme Court Justice David Souter's Clerk informed Philip J. Berg, the lawyer who brought the case against Obama, that his petition for an injunction to stay the November 4th election was denied, but the Clerk also required the defendants to respond to the Writ of Certiorari (which requires the concurrence of four Justices) by December 1. At that time, Mr. Obama must present to the Court an authentic birth certificate, after which Mr. Berg will respond.
If Obama fails to do that, it is sure to inspire the skepticism of the Justices, who are unaccustomed to being defied. They will have to decide what to do about a president-elect who refuses to prove his natural-born citizenship.

Now HERE is a volunteer force....

Update 12:31 am: Via one of Instapundit's readers:

Looks like the change.gov site is true to it's title - it changes!

During the time when I was looking at the blog you linked to concerned mandatory community service the change.gov page saying "require community service" changed to goal for community service. The new wording is:

"..... Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by setting a goal that all middle school and high school students do 50 hours of community service a year and by developing a plan so that all college students who conduct 100 hours of community service receive a universal and fully refundable tax credit ensuring that the first $4,000 of their college education is completely free."

I found the the cached page on Google it has the original "required" wording.

Looks like they caught their "mistake". Now will the real plan please step forward -- goal or required. (Although the way government sets goals, they often wind up looking like requirements so maybe the two aren't all that different.)

Found in the comments at the soon to be retired Kim du Toit (read him now or forever lose it...) by djmoore of Ricketyclick

The subject is Obama's requirement of Mandatory volunteerism:
Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55

Here is the comment:
...encourage Congress, pursuant to Article 1, Section 8, to establish, equip, and train a real militia, offering high school students and willing adults firearms training as well as general emergency response stuff such as search and rescue, fire suppression, and first aid. There would also be however-many hours of community service. This program would be as ubiquitous, and about as rigorous, as driver’s ed.

Graduates get a militia card, entitling them to a single subsidized purchase of a semi-auto version of the current military issue weapon, subsidized purchase of appropriate practice ammo, further unlimited purchase of non-auto firearms without registration or interference; and free carry, open or concealed.

Card to be renewed annually following refresher training musters.

Accommodation as necessary to ensure that the elderly, handicapped, and curmudgeonly can arm themselves without militia membership.

Membership of course gets you a slot in the emergency call up phone tree.

Properly handled, this would be so popular the nation’s needs could be met voluntarily.

Fair’s fair, right? Spirit of compromise, and all that?

This would be OUTSTANDING! Wonder if we could implement something like that at the state level?

Finally, a ray of sunshine!

I finally found the silver lining in the dark cloud of Obama's election.

Never again will the GOP be able to tell the conservatives to vote for some RINO as the lesser of two evils. Never again will conservatives be afraid to sit out an election on principle.

I mean, really, we now have the evil we've been warned against. The GOP can't "scare" us anymore. If we survive this, the GOP will either be gone, a minority party, or more conservative.

Thanks.

The Left is SO Blind

Reading the Times-Dispatch on Thursday, I found an article, quite well written, on the coming Obama appointments. Quotes abounded, coming from a variety of sources. However, two struck me as particularly illustrative of today's electorate.

Coming from a 24 year old man (sad, in itself) was this whine, "He's going to give the youth hope and a voice, something to look forward to. A future to look forward to."
WTF! Apparently this man sees that America's youth had no hope for a future. They need a President to lead them to this. This sad man is a perfect example of todays voters.

And then, there's this:

Simon Rosenberg (founder of the New Democrat Network) had this gem: Mr. Obama "doesn't really come from any faction or ideological wing of politics," he will not be beholden to any one group when he makes his initial choices.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh, he's serious.
This is why they think conservatives are extremists; that Bush, a liberal Republican, is a right-winger. To people like this, marxist and progressive views are mainstream and normal.
They actually think that taking the possession of one and giving it to another, by force, in the name of fairness, is a good thing.

To them, its not ideological. Its normal. They are blind.

And the GOP had better learn this.

Its already started....

From Barry's website that describes how his administration is going to save everybody....
(btw, when did "change" become a .gov agency?)

Address Gun Violence in Cities: As president, Barack Obama would repeal the Tiahrt Amendment, which restricts the ability of local law enforcement to access important gun trace information, and give police officers across the nation the tools they need to solve gun crimes and fight the illegal arms trade. Obama and Biden also favor commonsense measures that respect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners, while keeping guns away from children and from criminals who shouldn't have them. They support closing the gun show loophole and making guns in this country childproof. They also support making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets.

This has so many wrong things in it....

1) Obama is going to repeal the Constitution, because he has no power to repeal ANYTHING.

2) The Tiahrt Amendment DOES NOT restrict law enforcement access. It restricts EVERYONE ELSE'S access. Gun control groups want the access to make nuisance lawsuits easier.

3) Commonsense measures....According to whom? How does one restrict a right in a commonsense manner? Will he then think of commonsense ways to restrict the other rights? Then again, liberals already like to restrict the 1st Amendment rights in politically correct ways. Fairness Doctrine anyone? Why are there additional restrictions needed? We already have laws against easy access by children and felon possession.

4) No such thing as the Gun Show Loophole....nor Childproof guns.

5) Finally, please show me where assault weapons are on the street? Please. One example. The AWB DID NOTHING to prevent one crime. It had nonsense definitions. Of course, there are already laws in place preventing commonplace possession of assault weapons. A semi-automatic rifle IS NOT an assault weapon.

Oh, and to you hunters that feel safe, your deer rifle is a "sniper" rifle. How do you feel being restricted to single shot shotguns?

And remember, in all of these cases, this will be only the FIRST step. There will always be "commonsense" improvements needed so that you can feel "safe".

If you want to see what the US is going to become under a liberal regime, take a good look at England right now. EVERY SINGLE ISSUE that the Dems want have already been emplaced within English society.

Food for Thought

“Do not blame Caesar, blame the people of Rome who have so enthusiastically acclaimed and adored him and rejoiced in their loss of freedom and danced in his path and gave him triumphal processions… Blame the people who hail him when he speaks in the Forum of the ‘new, wonderful good society’ which shall now be Rome’s, interpreted to mean ‘more money, more ease, more security, more living fatly at the expense of the industrious.’ Julius was always an ambitious villain, but he is only one man.”

Speaking within hours of Barack Obama’s election, Mr Medvedev announced that Russia would base Iskander missiles in its Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad – the former German city – next to the border with Poland.

He did not say whether the short-range missiles would carry nuclear warheads.

Russia to put missiles next to NATO borders (Kaliningrad is actually WITHIN a NATO country):

Taking advantage of the world’s attention on the US elections, Mr Medvedev also cancelled plans to withdraw three intercontinental ballistic missile regiments from western Russia by 2010.

I guess ol' Barry's unilateral disarmament of canceling the "Shield" doesn't matter. This way it looks like the US will be backing down to Russia.....not that Barry cares. He was planning that anyway.

What Your Donations Provide

The election is over, we have a new leader who will take the oath of office in January. America will not dissappear just because half the voters are idiots who refuse to see the socialist tendencies exhibited by the candidate of their choice.

I predict that if we are still here in 2 years, there will be a sweeping takeover of Congress by conservatives who will stand for the values we believe in. 2 years of government interference will be about all most normal people can stand.

Until then, we must continue to promote conservative ideals and cultivate candidates to fill the voids that will be created.

We must also continue to support our deployed troops, especially in Afghanistan.

Our campaign here has ramped up with the help of fellow-bloggers The USO Girls, who have issued a challenge to their team-mates at DFW Airport to raise donations for yours truly by promoting my BBQ sauce. The A-Team demonstrated their good taste and sound judgement by naming me their #1 crush after I swept both of them off their feet at the milblog conference in Cibola, primarily by using my charming personality and rapier wit. (Actually, it was the GHB that did it, I think)
I have sent one shipment to the Assclowns (yes, thats what they call themselves, so who am I to argue?) in the 6/4 and have another one packed and ready to go.

Here are the before and after pictures of the shipment:

Before

After

Yes, I can pack a flat-rate box so tight, it squeals.

Flat-rate, no weight restrictions. Ya gotta love it.

The Liberals are going to OWN us.

Any government with the power to give you everything you want, is the government to take everything that you have.

The government is now a co-owner of your bank, house, and insurance company.
Soon, they'll own your doctor and hospital.

That'll be great!!! Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, FEMA, and the VA are such GREAT organizations. So efficient.
Of course, there will have to be some changes.......

The Politics of Power. Are you a Citizen or a Subject?

The federal government has bought an interest in the FM twins, which means they hold a piece of the note on your house. The federal government has bought an interest in banks, which means they own a piece of your savings. The federal government has bought an interest in insurance firms, meaning they own a piece of your insurance.

The Democrat majority in Congress did this, aided by a sitting Republican President.

Our next President plans to nationalize health care, which means that the federal government will own a piece of your doctor, your hospital, and your insurance provider.

In just a few short years, the federal government will have a controlling interest in nearly every facet of your life. And you, you lazy sheep, will be grateful for it, because at last, your government will be taking care of you, and the only people who will pay the cost will be those damnable rich people who have too much money and are too greedy.

Life will be wonderful.

Until the federal government starts to use the power you gave them to control your life.

If a man owns your house, your bank account, your job, and your health care, he owns you. Period. Just ask a coal miner from West Virginia about the company store.

"You load 16 tons, and what do you get?
Another day older and deeper in debt.
St. Peter don't call me cause I can't go.
I owe my soul to the company store."
from Shots Across the Bow.

And, of course, they want the Courts. Heaven forbid that you have a recourse to fight back using your Constitutional rights.....

The Left has been stalling for the last two years on Judgeships for just this occasion.

Obama's Redistribution Constitution

The balance will shift as well on almost all of the 12 other federal appeals courts. Nine of the 13 will probably swing to the left if Mr. Obama is elected (not counting the Ninth Circuit, which the left solidly controls today). Circuit majorities are likely at stake in this presidential election for the First, Second, Third, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeal. That includes the federal appeals courts for New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia and virtually every other major center of finance in the country.

On the Supreme Court, six of the current nine justices will be 70 years old or older on January 20, 2009. There is a widespread expectation that the next president could make four appointments in just his first term, with maybe two more in a second term. Here too we are poised for heavy change.

These numbers ought to raise serious concern because of Mr. Obama's extreme left-wing views about the role of judges. He believes -- and he is quite open about this -- that judges ought to decide cases in light of the empathy they ought to feel for the little guy in any lawsuit.

Learn it, Love it!.....Or else......

I, for one, welcome our new socialist overlords.
I expect my bills to be paid on January 21, 2009. I want my bail out too.
Since I'm unemployed, maybe I can get a job in the new "civilian security force." Its always better to be part of the security apparatus. Just ask the Cubans, former Soviets, East Germans, Communist Chinese....

Apparently, the voters think that THIS is Obama's theme song:

Won't they be surprised!

BOHICA

In case anyone missed it...your fellow Americans have just voted THIS for you. Per the exit polls, the economy was everyone's main concern...so, of course, they voted in the same people that arranged the crash....

From The Other Side of Kim:

Just so we all know, here’s a partial list of the changes we’re likely to get more of:
  • High Taxes
  • Gun Control
  • State ownership of capital
  • Constitutional reconstructionism through the courts
  • Nanny government and oppressive regulation
  • A weak, impotent military
  • Inept foreign policy
  • Trial lawyers and liberal judges
  • Socialism
  • Internationalist subservience to the United Nations
  • Socialized medical care
  • Stronger labor unions
  • Racism (hiring- and college enrolment quotas)
  • Class warfare
  • Voter fraud
  • Lax immigration controls
  • Wealth redistributionism
  • Hostility towards business, and capitalism in general
  • Over-aggressive environmentalism
  • Support for failed social programs
  • Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Tom Daschle, Pat Leahy, Maxine Waters, Jim McDermott, John Kerry, Charles Schumer, Dianne Feinstein, and Dick Durbin running Congress.
So we’re going to get the changes we asked for, and we’re going to get them good and hard.

Sad Day in the USA

It is with a sad heart and great disgust that I have to call this election for (spit) Obama. I'm especially disgusted that the idiot voters of Virginia fell for this lying huckster's crap.

I hope that this result is satisfactory to all of the conservatives in Virginia and America that just couldn't "bring themselves to vote" for McCain. Don't bother bitching about all of the freedoms that you're going to lose when Obama appoints 2-3 new liberal Supreme Court Judges. Heller Decision? So what. They'll figure out a way to screw you. If you didn't like McCain-Feingold, just wait.....

With the loss of both Pennsylvania and Ohio to the enemy, and inroads behind our lines into Virginia and Florida, the war is lost.

I predict a 338 Obama/200 McCain win for Obama.

Obama will win Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, D. C., Virginia, Hawaii, and Florida.

I am deeply ashamed that fellow Americans would vote for a racist, un-American, terrorist loving, corrupt, Chicago politician for President. Apparently I was naive in believing that Americans might have a modicum of sense. At least in the Soviet Union, the populace had the sense to understand the Pravda had it own agenda and was lying in everything it wrote. For some unknown reason, our citizenry refused to believe the same, even when presented with evidence that "our" press was not unbiased and were hiding the truth.

I can only assume the voters for him were either:
a) true believers in socialism,
b)
willfully uninformed (or too lazy), and therefore, too stupid to be allowed to vote ,
c)
racist idiots that cared only for his skin color, or
d)
yellow dog democrats.

Even with the media covering for Obama, enough damaging evidence of Obama's lack of character and his poor judgment was there for all to see. I can only believe that millions of Americans are willing to destroy our economy and put this country in danger for selfish political gain or for the ephemeral joy of "electing an African-American" to office. I can only believe that millions of Americans are willing to elect someone willing to subvert the Constitution to erase freedoms held by their fellow Americans. For all their concerns about the Patriot Act, these supposed freedom loving voters are willing to elect a man and a Congress that supports destroying the 1st and 2nd Amendments. I can only believe that millions of Americans are willing to empower our enemies across the globe by electing an appeaser that the enemy supports, in order to "feel good about themselves because they elected a black man to the Presidency." They are willing to elect a man that has NEVER been in charge of anything. EVER. And one that was willing to order our troops to run from the enemy in order to make himself look good in world opinion.

Enough evidence is there to prove that it is the Democrats in Congress that are destroying the economy. Drill here, Drill now!? Forget it. Forced Unionization? You got it. More Bailouts for Dem friends. More job loss. Remember Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? The Democrats caused their failures. Financial meltdown? If they didn't arrange it, they at least caused it by their corruption and lust for vote buying.

And YOU just voted them in again.

Fuckin' idiots.

UPDATE: 11:48 pm McCain concedes 338/155. I was half right. Day of mourning to commence.

May God have mercy on the United States of America.

In Keeping With the Topic of the Day

J.D. Pendry has some advice:

This is my country…
Posted: 03 Nov 2008 07:32 PM CST
J. D. Pendry

Happy Election Day Eve. I have gone into self-imposed media blackout. I have grown tired of pollsters, pundits and political strategists. I have voted. The bottom line up front is that I cannot do more than that. The outcome is not in my hands nor is it in any mortal's. That is how I see it.

If you have not voted, forget the blasted polls, do not listen to the media leaking exit poll information and calling the election one way or the other. Instead of taking in all of that, just go vote. I take my obligation to vote personally and seriously. I hope you do the same.

I turned 56 years old not so long ago. Twenty-eight of those years were spent in the United States Army. The people I served half of my life with in the Army are special people. They were my extended family then and now. When I cast my vote, I weigh my choice heavily in their favor. In good conscience I could never vote for a Commander in Chief or a political party that has proven by words and deeds to be harmful to the people who would risk their lives so that these same people might hold political office in a free nation.

I could never vote for the party that is already bragging about cutting military funding by one-fourth.

Likewise, I cannot support a potential Commander in Chief who states that he will reduce defense spending by tens of billions of dollars, slow development of future combat systems, stop development of the missile defense system and dismantle our nuclear weapons. The same man who said that the lives lost in Iraq were wasted and that our military in Afghanistan was air raiding villages and killing civilians.

My brothers and sisters in uniform deserve better leadership and the endorsements from political generals do not change my opinion. I cannot support someone for Commander in Chief that cannot bring himself to give credit to our serving men and women for the tremendous success they have delivered.

It especially concerns me that when I hear that we need a Civilian National Security force that is as strong as our military and is as well resourced. For what?

I need to decide whom with and how I share my wealth. I saw the public tax return information from the candidates. I share more wealth than both Obama and Biden combined each year. I decide where it goes.

All Americans have an obligation to pay taxes that are needed to fund services provided by government. We do not have an obligation to provide money to politicians to support failed government bureaucracies and social programs and we most certainly are not obligated to provide welfare checks to someone who did not earn it.

I believe in giving and sharing. I have worked hard most of my life and am probably more blessed than I deserve, so sharing those blessings where I believe they will do the most good is a choice for me to make. One is not selfish because he does not support forced redistribution of wealth through higher taxes. Our forefathers demonstrated how unpatriotic they believed unfair taxation is when they tossed British tea into Boston Harbor.

I have learned some important lessons over the past few years paying attention to politics. The most important is that we all need to take a closer look at home. The important elections we can most influence are for Congress.

In West Virginia, we have two Democrat Senators and two of three Democrat Representatives. Our state legislature has been Democrat controlled for decades. We rank 49th or 50th in every category that measures the quality of life in our state, except for taxes where we are near the top.

Politics has been a wealth producing business for our Congressional delegation, except for our New York transplanted Rockefeller who was already wealthy. They've brought plenty of pork to the state, but they have created no wealth the constituency. They have provided no vision for a state that sits on one of the largest energy reserves in the world. No future vision to modernize that industry for liquid fuel production. No, instead each of them and our Governor endorsed the man who said that he would purposely bankrupt our coal industry. Our state is the number 2 coal producing state in the union. Union coal miners will probably vote the party line.

This is my country. I am not going to give it away willingly. Regardless of the outcome tomorrow we need to start taking our country back from the socialists and career party politicians.

Go vote.
