The only thing missing is restoring the Constitution and Bill of Rights. As long as candidates will pledge to serve no more than 3 terms and place Constitutional requirements on legislation, they will get elected.

I really could care less what the party machine thinks or does. The grassroots will place into nomination the people we think will uphold our Founding Principles.

GOP purity test proposed
The vice chairman of the Republican National Committee is promoting a proposed resolution that would warn 2010 GOP candidates that if they do not respect the party's "conservative values," they will not receive the financial backing or endorsement of the RNC.

The ten conservative principles, as distributed by the RNC, are as follows:

(1) We support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes by opposing bills like Obama's "stimulus" bill.

(2) We support market-based healthcare reform and oppose Obama-style government-run healthcare.

(3) We support market-based energy reforms by opposing cap-and-trade legislation.

(4) We support workers' right to secret ballot by opposing card check.

(5) We support legal immigration and assimilation into American society by opposing amnesty for illegal immigrants.

(6) We support victory in Iraq and Afghanistan by supporting military-recommended troop surges.

(7) We support containment of Iran and North Korea, particularly effective action to eliminate their nuclear weapons threat.

(8) We support retention of the Defense of Marriage Act.

(9) We support protecting the lives of vulnerable persons by opposing healthcare rationing and denial of healthcare and government funding of abortion.

(10) We support the right to keep and bear arms by opposing government restrictions on gun ownership.

Mr. Cantor, please ask the RNC, the NRCC, and yourself, if you want to continue supporting this crook.

Why is Eric Cantor supporting a liberal candidate for office?

Dede Scozzafava, the Republican candidate for the November 3 special election in the NY 23rd congressional district, urged her supporters to vote for her in order to keep her Democratic opponent Bill Owens from serving as a rubber stamp for Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama's agenda in Washington.

Then she admitted to supporting card check. Furthermore she couldn't answer a question about whether she would support heath care reform that raised taxes or tax supported abortion.

And then her campaign called the cops on the troublesome reporter......

Call Eric Cantor and ask his office why he is supporting this dirt bag. And tell him that this is one more example why conservatives are starting to disbelieve that he actually supports conservative positions.

Tribute to Ronald Reagan

A reminder to what our GOP candidates can aspire to be. However, we MUST stop looking for another Reagan. We must pick a President that is his own man, that presents his own ideas. I don't want another Reagan. I want a President that is great on his own. NO man can be great while attempting to be someone else. No man can be great while being an imitation. As voters, WE must stop wanting our candidates to pander to us. Stop asking them to "be the next Reagan." Ask them to stand up for conservative ideals on their own. Ask them how THEY will implement those ideas and defend them from attacks by liberals. If they can't defend those ideals on their own, then, at least its the truth. Don't ask them to pretend. Pick a candidate for what he genuinely offers. Aren't you tired of fakes?
