Where's the Literary Fund?

To all who are bitchin' about my Governor's budgetary tactics: Where's the money from the Literary Fund? We approved the lottery based on assurances profits from gambling would be directed to the schools through the Literary Fund. Surely they're making a profit by now.

Where is all the money from the Lottery that is supposed to go to the Literary Fund?

Why do some delegates think charter schools will hurt Virginia's education system?

People who choose to send their children to charter schools will still pay property taxes.

Timmy Is a Moron

The Religious Freedom Act was born in Virginia. It is part of the basis for the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.

Virginia state troopers put their lives on the line every day. If the chaplains want to invoke the name of Jesus Christ in prayers prior to them going out and keeping our highways safe, then Timmy should let them. After all, it's their lives on the line, not his.

Timmy established himself as the most liberal democrat on the planet when he endorsed the Chosen One (may peace be upon him) and was rewarded with the chairmanship of the DNC.
He is solidifying his secularist progressive credentials by vetoing this bill.

What Timmy should be concerned with is why our lottery pays Donald Trump $250,000 to do a commercial. He should be concerned with why the lottery is not pumping millions into the Literary Fund and the Literary Fund is not pumping millions into our educational system as we were promised when we allowed them to start selling lottery tickets.

Timmy should not concern himself with the day-to-day activities of the Virginia State Police Chaplains.

Timmy will be gone in less than a year and good riddance.

Go ahead, veto the bill Timmy. Leave us with that legacy, just so long as you leave.
Governor McDonnell will fix it when he's elected.

The schools are going broke. Students will suffer. Education will cease. We're all going to be morons.
They must think we're already morons.
Where is the money from the much-hearlded Literary Fund? Remember the Literary Fund?
That place where all the lottery money goes?
We were told in 1986, when the lottery became a reality, that all proceeds from the lottery would be used to fund education.
Education will never run out of money we were told. We need the lottery to fund the schools, or we need the schools so we need a lottery, or we need a lottery because we need schools.
I think before we go raising taxes, someone should do an accounting of the lottery and find out why the education system is out of money.
