Club For Growth Announces Senate Endorsements

The Virginia Club for Growth PAC endorsed six candidates for the Virginia Senate today, all of them worthy.

One of these candidates, Patricia Phillips, I am especially proud to see listed as I have known her for several years and from our first meeting I have been impressed with her honesty, sincerity and integrity. She has never disappointed. Her intelligent, logical approach to problem solving was sorely needed in the General Assembly last session and I pray the voters in her district will recognize these qualities and put her to work for them next session.

Joe Blackburn: Joe is challenging longtime pro-tax Republican Walter Stosch. John Van Hoy: John Van Hoy faces a firehouse primary, on May 19, to fill the open seat of former Senate Finance Chairman John Chichester. The retirement of Chichester sent a wave of excitement throughout conservative activists in Virginia. Van Hoy will be a huge step up from the former Senator from Stafford.
