2013 Americans In Wartime Museum Open House

It's Time to Register! Americans in Wartime Museum 2013 Open House 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., August 17 and 18 "The Tank Farm" 13906 Aden Road in Nokesville, Virginia   We are getting the vehicles, the field and all of the activities ready for the 2013 Open House! We hope you are planning to join us.   If you have not registered and you plan to attend, click here. The Open House will preview the future Americans in Wartime Museum with fully operational armor, living history demonstrations, Kids Scavenger Hunt, a K-9 Demonstration and Combat Veterans Roundtable (Saturday only), displays and much more! By registering, you help us plan parking, food and activities for all of those attending.   This year, we are requesting a minimum $10 donation per adult for those attending the open house. The donation is voluntary but will support the Open House and the Museum's mission. You can make the donation when you register online or stop by our check-in tent when you arrive at the event.   New this year for those of you who enjoy motorcycles, we are hosting a Poker Run on Saturday, ending at the Open House. Drive approximately 5.5 miles to Route 28 South. Go 4.5 miles to Nokesville (a traffic light and small shopping area). Turn left at the light onto Route 652, Fitzwater Drive. Go one mile to stop sign. Turn right onto Route 646, Aden Road. Drive 4.2 miles to 13906 Aden Road. Red brick walls at entrance on the right. Proceed to marked parking area.   FROM INTERSTATE 95, take Exit 152. Take Route 234 (Dumfries Road) north toward Manassas. Go 7.1 miles to a traffic light. Turn left on to Bristow Road (Rt. 619 West). Go 0.3 miles and turn left onto Aden Road (Rt. 646). Go 5.7 miles to 13906 Aden Road. Red brick walls at entrance on the left. Proceed to marked parking area.
