If I was in charge....how many times have you said that?

Well, If I was in charge of Thompson's campaign,

First, I would fire whoever is in charge of the PR and the volunteer handling. They need a clear chain of command.

Two, I would charge after Huckabee. He is an easy target and Thompson is already carving away some of Huckabee's conservatives.

Three, McCain. Bring up his record. That's all you have to do. Get him mad. He'll do the rest.

Four, Piss off the media. Make them mention him in any way, shape, or form. Thompson is the invisible man. They don't support him, so use them in any way you can.

Five, get Thompson speaking about the issues that get the media's attention. Don't stroll through a gun show. Bring a frickin rifle to the speech! If he's legally allowed to carry, put one on his hip. Play up to his reputation.

Six, STOP BEING SO DAMNED POLITE. ATTACK DAMMIT!

Too little, maybe too late. Since the republicans have decided to support liberals, what's he got to lose?
