Big Brother Hillary Orwell, 1984Ad (Thanks Obama Campaign)

For those who missed the discussion, someone took an old ad from the ‘80s and parodied it as an anti-Hillary ad. The identity of the ad-maker seemed to by a mystery – until now, maybe.

The blog Jammiewearingfool reports that Fox news’ Carl Cameron has identified the makers of the ad as “Blue State Digital,” “founded in early 2004 by four members of the Howard Dean Presidential campaign” who “are involved in providing custom Internet applications and communications strategies to primarily Democratic organizations, political candidates and non-profit organizations.” The real kicker is this: some of the makers of this video that was widely cited as an attack ad by the “vast right-wing conspiracy” have been traced back to the Obama campaign! I looked at the add, and I don’t see what the fuss was all about. I mean, if you look at it, the ad is actually funny and you know what they say; humor is funny because it contains a touch of truth.
