South Dakota's Border With Canada; Markey Is No Mathematician; I Can't Spell Mathematician

Weekend Humor from Sen. Landrieu, Rep. Markey, Rep. Weiner, and Superman

By Willie Deutsch
Democrats keep providing us with such priceless quotes, sometimes all you can do is laugh.

1. Sen. Mary Landrieu Says South Dakota Borders Canada
In a floor debate with Sen. Thune about the immigration bill, Sen. Landrieu decried an amendment that would require building a fence on the southern border. In the course of the debate she said, “A smart fence which is what Sen. McCain and I want to build — since he’s from Arizona, I think he knows more about this than the senator from South Dakota who doesn’t have a border with Mexico, but only Canada and that is quite different.”

Sen. Landrieu, in case you didn’t know, North Dakota is above South Dakota which makes it hard for South Dakota to border Canada. Later on she even went on to speak of the importance of understanding geography.

2. Rep. Markey, Running for U.S. Senate in Mass., Explains the Difference Between Math and Arithmetic
If he were a Republican, explaining the difference between math and arithmetic in a campaign debate would earn him many a laugh on the late night comedy shows, but he isn’t. This is a race Democrats are expected to win, but they are becoming nervous about as Gabriel Gomez, a former Navy Seal has cut into his lead.

3. Anthony Weiner Claims to have Coined the Term “Obamacare”…
…even the Democrats are laughing.

4. What Would Happen if Superman was Part of a Union?
Thanks to Justin Higgins for sharing. Hope you enjoy.
