Islamic Extremists Are the Enemy

Bambi and the rest of the Disney characters occupying the White House aren't calling anyone our enemy. They won't even use the terms islam and terrorism in the same paragraph. As long as followers of Islam respect the rights of non-muslims to worship freely, I have no issues with them. Unfortunately, Islam, via the Koran, tells followers they must not allow kafirs, infidels, to worship at all. So how do you be a good muslim and still respect the rights of others?

You can't, according to the extremists.

This is a long article but well worth the read:
Obama at odds with Petraeus doctrine on 'Islam'
People in the administration should be making the clear distinction between Islam, which is a religion and which is not our enemy, and extremist Islamism, which is a political ideology and is our enemy. … The fact is our enemies fly the banner of Islam. They claim to represent the religion. There are other people in the religion who say they don't. What we need to be clear about is, our enemy has an extremist political
ideology. They describe that ideology as the true religion. And there is no way we can deal with this phenomenon without confronting the fact that the enemy political ideology is rooted in a religion."
