The Language Log has a story about the American Dialect Society choosing nominees for the Word of the Decade. Emerging from all the words throughout the last 10 years, “blog”, “google” and other terms made the list of Finalists. Interestingly, the term “milblog” made it in the definition of blog.

We don't need more sissy reporters at the front. Just tell those pansies in the mainstream media to copy/paste from the milblogs.
I actually tell people this when they ask me what a milblog is.
