Michelle Obama - Has never been proud of her country

Let me get this straight.

The wife of a Presidential candidate, a wealthy Harvard and Princeton educated attorney, the daughter of parents that lived through the Civil Rights era, lives in a country that has, in the last 65 years, fought wars that liberated millions, changed from a segregated society to an integrated society, provided billions in aid to the poor in this and other countries, provided opportunity for millions of immigrants, and is member of the political party that trumpets support for the downtrodden of minority groups everywhere, SAYS "for the first time in my adult lifetime, I am really proud of my country."

Public service jobs Michelle Obama has held:
1. Spent college running a children’s literacy program.
2. Worked as Assistant to the Mayor of Chicago and Assistant Commissioner of Planning and Development.
3. Was Executive Director for the Chicago office of Public Allies, a non-profit organization encouraging young people to work on social issues in nonprofit groups and government agencies.
4. Developed U. of Chicago’s Community Service Center.
5. Worked for University of Chicago Hospitals, first as executive director for community affairs and, beginning May, 2005, as Vice President for Community and External Affairs.

First time? WTF?
She's never been proud of her country, until now? Why now? Because her husband is running for President? Because people are applauding him? What kind of self-centered, elitist, selfish bitch is this person that can only appreciate this wonderful country because people are voting for her husband?

And I thought Hillary Clinton was bad.
