This Arkansas Governor just like the other.....
First, you had the news that Huckabee was a fool, and possibly more. Allegations have been made that sound familiar: Pardons for Cash?
And bloggers most familiar with the Governor describe him in dangerous terms: From Opinion Journal via Freeman Hunt, an Arkansas blogger:
Betsy Hagan, Arkansas director of the conservative Eagle Forum and a key backer of his early runs for office, was once "his No. 1 fan." She was bitterly disappointed with his record. "He was pro-life and pro-gun, but otherwise a liberal," she says. "Just like Bill Clinton he will charm you, but don't be surprised if he takes a completely different turn in office."
Phyllis Schlafly, president of the national Eagle Forum, is even more blunt. "He destroyed the conservative movement in Arkansas, and left the Republican Party a shambles," she says.
So now, from another source, in IOWA, The Caucus Cooler, comes the information that they have actual documents describing possible conflicts of interest:
The Cooler has obtained documents that show Mike Huckabee received $378,000 in consulting fees during 2006, while he was still governor of Arkansas.
Didn't we already go down this path before with another Arkansas Governor?
