Thanks for Giving

Happy Thanksgiving!

Let us bow our heads and give thanks to God for our good fortune.

Let us give thanks for the priceless gift of this country. Not the geographic location. But the people within. Whether we agree with each other, get along with each other or not, we are family. Brothers and sisters fight. But we are all family. We believe in this thing called the United States of America. And by the grace of God, we have made this the greatest country in the world. Let us give especial thanks for those that give. Whether charity or their lives in service to us. In little ways or great. For those that have given their lives, thank you. For their families, thank you. For the people that go into harm's way on our behalf, thank you. For those that stand the watch, thank you. For those that disagree with us, thereby making us reexamine our beliefs, thank you. For our families, for supporting us and putting up with us, thank you. For my angel of a wife, Thank you. And for that blessing that is my child, Thank you.
