My sources in DC, who are in a position to know, have told me that we can expect an announcement from former Senator Fred Thompson the third week in May.
The key phrase used was "contractual agreements".
In other words, as soon as his contract with L&O is over, he is in.
We all knew this, but I now have solid confirmation.
