Suicide Bombings in Israel Resume After 8 Months

***Update: 1/29/2007 4:18:22 PM

Via: Jihad Watch (Hamas: ‘Attack is legitimate resistance’)

The target of the suicide bombing was a bakery in Eilat, and was committed by Mahammed Saksak, a 21 year-old from Gaza City, not the West Bank as had been previously thought.

A spokesman for the Hamas terrorists, (who currently run the Palestinian Authority)Fawzi Barhoum, is quoted as praising the bombing and calling it a “’natural response’ to Israeli policies:” Says Barhoum: “"So long as there is occupation, resistance is legitimate."

Islamic Jihad, the other group claiming responsibility for the bombing says the operation was “meant to help bring and end to the weeks of Palestinian infighting that has [killed] 60 people in the Gaza Strip since December. ‘The operation has a clear message to the Palestinian rivals. It is necessary to end the infighting and point the guns toward the occupation that has hurt the Palestinian people, the site said.’”

“The Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, one of the groups claiming responsibility for Monday's attack, is linked to Fatah. However, Fatah spokesman Ahmad Abdul Rahman condemned the violence, saying, "We are against any operation that targets civilians, Israelis or Palestinians."”

So “a natural response” to the Israeli military policies like building a wall to keep these terrorists out is to blow up a bakery in a resort town. How about fielding a uniformed army and taking the Israelis on “mono y mono?” Nope. The killers in the Palestinian Authority know that they wouldn’t last 20 minuets in a fair fight with Israel. I look forward to the day when these killers are run from the face of the earth and the rest of us can live in true peace.

Reuters is reporting that the first suicide bombing in Israel since last April has claimed three lives at Eilat, a resort area beside the Red Sea.

"Islamic Jihad, al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades and the
previously unknown "Army of Believers" claimed responsibility for the bombing
that hit the popular Red Sea resort.
The Islamic Jihad and the Aqsa brigades
said the bombing was a response to Israeli "attempts to defile al-Aqsa mosque"
in Jerusalem, a reference to recent archeological excavations. Israeli officials
said the work had not damaged the shrine."

So digging near a “shrine” by Israel demands the immediate release of suicide bombings to kill people in a resort in Israel. Is everyone understanding the logic here?

Add in three more innocent deaths to the “Palestinian's honorable national struggle.
