Retro-Wednesday: Boy Scouts Booed By Dems 08-2000

By the time Bill Clinton received the nomination for his first presidential bid I was pretty much over the Democrat/ic thing but was still open to cast a "mercy" vote from time to time depending on the circumstances and the candidate. Clinton didn't qualify needless to say.

I closed the door completely on the Dems in August of 2000 while watching a clip of the delegates at the Democrat/ic Convention boo and hiss the Boy Scouts as they came onto the stage as invited guests. The delegates who instituted this boorish demonstration were homosexual activists from California.

There was not one iota of outrage voiced in the media by the Democratic leadership afterwards for such disgusting behavior by adults. Earlier, Democrat/ic delegates for Hillary's senate bid spat on a Police Honor Guard (also invited guests) at their convention in New York.

Thankfully, the Clinton White House years were over but gone too were the wispy remnants of my respect for JFK's party.

Update: My original post indicated the spitting incident occurred after the Boy Scouts were booed. The spitting actually occurred earlier on May 16, 2000 and I have edited the post.
