Reagan Pummels Webb

I shelled out 75 cents for a copy of the Richmond Times Dispatch today for the sheer pleasure of reading Mrs. Nancy Reagan smacking down Jim Webb (that's actually James H. Webb, Jr. in a previous incarnation).

The beginning of the ad seems chopped as if something is missing but President Reagan's complimentary remarks about Webb concern his service in Viet Nam. Period. There is no mention of Mr. Webb's inability to produce a budget and his quick exit from the position of Secretary of Defense.

The ad can be viewed here on YouTube posted by the Webb campaign and, interestingly enough, the comments have been disabled. Gee, I wonder why? Can't take the heat, boys?
